Clearly, this looks like Kentucky but I don’t understand why saying “commit now or we take Bona” is gonna push Lively into moving his decision up, IF he was on the fence

I would think that he has the mindset that he’s going to be the #1 post player anywhere he goes so minutes aren’t going to be an issue.

So this signals to me that if he picks UK, he’s been ours for some time and Cal just wanted to get it over with.
Agree.

Omg! I can’t believe this. If he does indeed pick UK we are back back back. Beating Duke head ups for a recruit like this is exactly why we lost our mojo. O, Chin, and Jai are crushing this ish and Cal isn’t playing anymore folks.

Cal and crew are baddd men. And because I live in Louisville, I want to remind everyone that while we're watching this insane class ball at UK, Louisville will be sitting at home more than likely banned from the tourney for multiple years.
Those poor Louisvillans, 4th street better watch out for the drunks and 2nd street bridge will need to close down.

WCS was a freak among 7 foot freaks so if he is anywhere close to that good KY should be alright!
We don’t need anymore WCSes. Let’s get someone who has basketball skills and can put the ball in the bucket from 1-2 feet away, at the very least.

Certainly not to that degree yet. And I don’t know if he’s quite the freakish athlete Davis is. But that’s kinda what his game looks like, yeah.
He’s definitely not on AD’s level athletically but he’s more advanced on the perimeter, can rebound, and block shots. He’s not like AD level there but still very high level and an elite prospect. We are loading TF up and I love it!

Any lube left from the Livingston commitment?
We are going to have to make another order I’m afraid.

Hot take:

Sharpe and Livingston commitments made everyone take notice. Cal got the boys back together and it’s back to being the “not %#?!ing around crew.” But this Lively commitment, with it being “UK or Duke” at the front and center, is symbolic of the pendulum having swung back Kentucky’s way. Duke has overtaken Kentucky as the “it” program over the past 5 years. This might be the sign that it’s flipped back.

too dramatic?
I think this represents the tide swinging and it’s appropriate that it’s a UK/Duke battle for him.

I'm thinking he wants to play with the other studs that are committed/about to commit to UK and wants to keep the momentum train going
