My Mom passed away last night. She was a huge Wildcat fan, and just as importantly, the best Mom anyone could wish for.
So sorry for your loss, brother. Prayers for you and your family at this time.

very sorry for your loss Kev. I lost my Mom back in June 2002, you just try to put one foot in front of the other each day and live your life the best you can. I talk to Mom all the time and just thank God for the time we did have. It will get better, but a part of your soul(at least for me,I felt) is gone. It is a indescribable experience and I understand exactly what you are going thru. stay strong...

Kevin so sorry for your loss! Mothers are so very special. Another poster said the pain will pass with time but not the memories, that's very true. My prayers go up for you and the family. God Bless you and take care!

You are right, life is never the same after losing your Mom. But as the years go by it does get easier. I remember feeling especially comforted by the fact that when it is my time to go, I will get to see her again in heaven! God bless.

I am so sorry for your loss Kev. My mom has stage 4 cancer and I fear the day that I have to make a similar post. I'm going through a rough time myself at the moment with some things and haven't been posting in a while. We differ on opinions some times but moments like this remind us that it's just a silly game. You've a BBN brother right here and I'll be praying for you and yours.

Really sorry to hear that you're Mom is going thru this. I know the feelings that you're experiencing.
One minute you may feel normal, then the next minute you might find yourself in tears.

I made sure to tell my Mom that I loved her every time I saw her after her diagnosis. She knew that anyway, but I wasn't letting it go unsaid. My mother in law passed away In September. She was almost like a Mom to me also. She also went thru hell.

As far as our disagreements on this board, it's mostly all in fun as far as I'm concerned. BBN is kind of like family, at times we argue, bicker, and get on each other's nerves. But I bet most of us would get along just fine in person.

I'll be praying for your Mom and family.
If you're interested in talking to someone, I would be more than happy to. Take care, and remember, don't leave anything on the table before she goes, because you won't get a do over.

Sorry for your loss. Dad went home seventeen years ago, mom a year and a half. Had mom for fifty eight years. Some holes will always be. Stay strong and know a lot of us have walked that bad, bad road.

I really appreciate every single post.
I've read every single one, and it has definitely lifted my spirits.

Wednesday and Thursday were very hard, and the service next week will be also.

She was 72, funny, because that doesn't seem old to me anymore.
One thing I've learned the last few days, is that for the most part, people are genuinely good.

I also realize after reading your responses, is that a whole lot of you have, or are going thru the same thing.

@kev69 , news like this puts so many things in perspective, this is an extremely difficult time for you, but just know that, even though we all bicker and go to war with different opinions on here from time to time, we are all like family, a bunch of brothers and a couple of sisters. So please let us know if there's anything we can do to help you get through this.
Take care brother!

Couldn't agree more. This really does put things into perspective.
BBN is like a family.

Thanks Jeff for the kind words, thoughts, and offer. Really means a lot right now.

Bump for your mom Kev. Me and my mother don't get along so well, and I can tell you and your mother had a strong relationship. I've kept you family in my morning prayer every day since.
