So sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family in this sorrowful time. I lost my dad, my mom and my brother in back to back to back years and it was a very trying period of my life. Luckily I had a newborn baby girl to help me get through it.

You're Right - Never
So very true. Very sorry for your loss. I lost dad when I was 21. I see him though everyday I look in the mirror, or I hear him screaming every time John Higgins is officiating! Hang in there.

@kev69 sorry for your loss and I send my condolences. I lost my Mom a few years back as well. Still a very, very tough situation to endure. Will have you in my prayers. Keep your head up.

My Mom passed away last night. She was a huge Wildcat fan, and just as importantly, the best Mom anyone could wish for.
That sucks man. Can't imagine what it feels like to lose a parent. I still am fortunate enough to have my dad around. My mother and I estranged, haven't spoken in 9 years. So if I lost my dad idk what I'd do. Prayers to you and your family.

Thanks so much for all the kind thoughts and replies.

I have read each and every one. It means a lot to me. This is the first day of my life that my Mom isn't alive.
I hope it gets easier than it has been today.

Thanks again.
Take your time, man. I still have Mom's telephone number in my IPhone. Can't stand the thought of deleting it.

Don't wait too long to try to talk to her. One day it will be too late.

Very sorry for your loss, Bro.

Hang onto Jesus like anything, and see her again in just a little while.

I lost my mom almost 7 years ago. It sounds like you and your mother had a wonderful relationship. My friend, you will heal a little each day, a touch here a bit there. The tears and sadness will eventually give way to treasuring the memories. Death is a little less frigtening when you think about your mom being the first to greet you on the other side.

Sorry for your loss Kev. Both of my parents and my older brother have passed on and it's a big loss.

Lost my dad back in 1992, mom in 2008.

The sting of loss eventually fades, but life is never the same.

No matter how old you are when your parents pass, the world just seems colder.

Carry my mom's drivers license in my wallet.

Sorry for your loss, man.

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss, @kev69. Lost my dad 25 years ago this year and still think about him every day. Hang in there...the pain will subside and you will always treasure the memories.

BBL..I owe you a like. I couldn't bring myself to like this post though I understood. It's been about 14 years for me. (I hope you understand the sentiment.)

I read every post. It made my heart smile! Kev I will pray for your "peace thats passes all understanding" to fall upon you and your family. As another poster said hold on to JESUS and in due time you will see her again. GOD bless you and your family! JC
