When I found out Trey only threw about 300 passes total in college, that was kind of shocking. Maybe he'll still work out. Has a lot of development ahead of him though

Honestly, what's there to see. You can research schools, crime and neighborhoods and get a pretty good idea from the population size. You know smaller Midwestern cities aren't loco like some of the bigger cities. Lincoln's always showing up in the top 10 among best places to live by Fortune magazine. How bad could it be? Beaches and mountains aren't that great, but there's a lot of other pluses

however, seeing the leaps Justin Fields is making on a weekly basis kind of reaffirms my (and Peyton Manning's) belief that guys are going to sink or swim regardless how much they get to observe

no substitute for live fire - but also no guarantees

Rhule not going to be the HC though. He doesn’t want to do PR **** or much of the none football **** that comes with being the head guy. Isn’t going to make a dollar extra from being coach, so he won’t be taking the title so that they can keep his salary low. Plus he doesn’t want to put in the hours of a HC. Now game decisions, X’s & O’s, staff, style of play etc, Rhule will be unofficially Head coach.

But when it comes to the official title, that will be Mickey. Mickey will be the face of Nebraska football and the one answering questions in meetings. This is going to give Mickey time to learn OJT.

so it’s kind of ironic that we have people fighting on this board for Rhule and for Mickey. Why not both?

Ok. Wish I hadn’t said anything but it’s what I’m hearing from a source within. My family has connection to a very well known current player. We can sit and wait on it… Maybe the kids wrong?

PS was told “sounds like BS” when I posted on this board when this player was going to commit to Nebraska. Didn’t bother me then. Doesn’t bother me now. I have nothing to prove. Just thought you’d enjoy something to think about

I talked to a regent last week who said they know the process but not the details of the search. Said Ted Carter would have to sign off on the financial aspect. But a player knows? No.

Nope. I don’t. Again, wish I hadn’t said anything cause people on this board want to ***** and complain all the dam time and when you actually send something that came within side the organization people treat you like **** for it.

247 took most of the intelligent people off this board. Sean took almost all the rest of the decent people. Now we are stuck with a very small handful of good posters and the rest are just ****. By large just left with people that never bring anything original or creative or can’t even give constructive criticism. Just people whose responses are “that’s bull ****” people that are sometime referenced as mouth breathers

Got the same **** when I had posted this player was a silent comment. And in 20 years on this board I never state stuff like this. Only when I have a good inside to it
