There will be some guys that aren’t going to get drafted that will return and enter the portal there always is the question is will Kentucky be interested. Molinar is Good example he isn’t getting drafted, if he returns and enters the portal will Kentucky show interestMany more guys will still enter the portal. Reeves and Leonard should be the top targets at the moment. If either go elsewhere we will likely intensify elsewhere. Just because we want to have our roster set in April doesn’t mean it should or will be.
Did you call Cal personally and warn him of impending doom during the COVID crisis? You have access to this vast deep knowledge and you clearly know all this before hand. Did you call him? Even send a text? Why did they have all young players?Because Cal CHOSE to.
You really are a garbage poster.Did you call Cal personally and warn him of impending doom during the COVID crisis? You have access to this vast deep knowledge and you clearly know all this before hand. Did you call him? Even send a text?
No word at all? Then that year is squarely on your head. Your fault!!!
Unfair? Unreasonable? Nobody can predict the future? Crazy talk? Yeah, that’s what I thought too when I read your BS.
That is better than actually being the garbage. You really are a garbage poster.
That is the exact answer I expected when the reality of your response hit you in the face. You really are a garbage poster.
He's so full of crap, the toilet’s jealous.LOL he's been here three years longer than you, D.A.
You should probably think before you get diarrhea of the mouth.
That's par for the course.Good point. I have to agree. Shooting will certainly not be a strong suit.
Who is going to shoot the ball beside Fredrick? Cal no longer gets the elite high school talent. Projected NBA for our two high school kids have a dozen other high school kids drafted in front of them, so I don't expect either one to impact enough to lead us to a title..We won’t need many transfers if everyone else returns . I wouldn’t worry . Our roster will be very good once it’s set
The lottery pick we had that refused to play might could of helped offset those injuries..The roster was good enough to make final 4, issues were injuries ruining momentum. My bigger concern was utilization of players like Brooks getting minutes over Toppin.
Cal needs more than 1 NBA player though. Not every member of a great college team is a NBA player. Great teams blend players of many skill sets and temperaments.
Most UK fans on here aren’t perceptive enough to realize it. They want 13 NBA players.
You honestly think next years roster has only 1 future NBA player? I would disagree.Cal needs more than 1 NBA player though.
I would argue he needs NBA stars.Only way he won it all was with a guy like Davis. His bench coaching isn't good enough without them. You honestly think next years roster has only 1 future NBA player? I would disagree.
I didn't know Miller had signed. It’s really early and both of our guys have been projected into the lottery on a few mock drafts, as has Leonard Miller.
I didn't know Miller had signed.
How did the preseason mock drafts turn out for Boston? Skal? I'm only interested in where they finish. If they're in the lottery after the season, then most likely UK had a good season. It’s really early and both of our guys have been projected into the lottery on a few mock drafts, as has Leonard Miller.
Fretting. At this point he seems to be the only one leaning UK.Shannon now seems a Michigan lock and it doesn't seem Cal is interested in Davis or Pack.Broome seems like he's going to Auburn and Lofton to Houston. So exactly what is Cal doing?
What is wrong with a 4 floating around on the perimeter? That’s kind of the point in a “4 out, 1 in” system. Cal told Tshiebwe he was running a 4 out system when he signed him last year. One of the problems last year is we didn’t have a 4 with perimeter skills to play a 4 out system.Livingston is not a PF. Not under any circumstances.
Watched several HS games. He floats on the perimeter. That's what he wants to do. Cal will start Toppin at the 4 and we'll see if Livingston will start - if he does, he'll be next to Toppin/Oscar.
Frankly, barring some sharp-shooters in the portal, it's going to be brick city for UK next year. Oscar might increase his RPG.
I was about to hit the laughing emoji and then thought, sadly, “you know what? You’re probably right.”Heard that Cal reached out to the Askew kid from Texas.
You made a good point except it would be stupid to think they were only gonna have a nine player roster. There’s still more time coming so let’s just see how it plays outWay wrong…this roster is flawed in the ways Cal does things every year
1. We are fine at the center and I think we’re maybe find at PF. Oscar and Ware at Center snd Toppin and Collins at PF will work…but Livingston should play PF
2. But PG…you going to run bad shooting Wheeler out there? And now we’re back to no depth So Wallace is going to slide to backup Pg? This is just dumb…it does not have to be this way
3. Now we are trying 5 guys for 3 backcourt spots? So Wallace is starting SG and we’ll do Livingston misplaced as SF. And injury prone Frederick and Reaves as depth. So if an injury hits…we’re right back to mash unit out there…this is an insane dumb idea
4. Not enough shooting. Wallace..who isn’t a known sniper, Reaves and Frederick. If you plan to start Wheeler and Livingston as perimeter players…teams are just gong to dare you to shoot
So that is nine total scholarship players…so we plan to be down 4 players on the roster and you’re good with that?
You mean only play 7? Kinda like both UNC and Kansas did this past season? The 8th guy played very little on both teams. Why fill a 13 player roster---only the begok CHOSEN 7 will get meaningful playing time.
rr
Did those teams have the serious injuries we did?You mean only play 7? Kinda like both UNC and Kansas did this past season? The 8th guy played very little on both teams.
Most teams only go 7-8 deep.
I could care less if they did or not.Did those teams have the serious injuries we did?
Might be a good pickup. He shot poorly from 3 this past year, but I think that’s due to forcing shots because he was their offense. He shot 43% the year before. Playing with better talent around him at UK might be good for him. Is he willing to share the ball for a shot at winning at a more consistent rate?Iverson Molinar would be the best get for us this spring. Hope he doesn’t go NBA.
