My guess is Phil or Seth went off and got the flag.
Can't lay an egg in the second half and expect to win.
I mean.. being up 14-0 and then being outscored 26-7 leaves a lot of blame for both sides. DBs got torched today.
Both announcers should be headed straight to the emergency room to get their stomachs pumped after sucking so much USC dick this afternoon.

USC was the only team doing anything exciting after the 3 minute mark in the 2nd half. You think they'll get excited about Iowa running into a brick wall or throwing piss bullets at people's knees?

You are right about that, but even on just analysis of pedant things they still did their best paint USC like it was a masterpiece.

Actually, the Iowa DBs were pretty damn good. I don't know how they could have covered any better, especially on a wet field when the receivers know where they're going and the DBs don't. Hell, that was some of the most accurate passing and superior receiving I've ever seen. And that covers a long time.

Who were those idiot announcers anyway? One needs to tell us it is not four down territory from own 30 with 12 minutes left. The other thinks Iowa might try a FG down five with less than three minutes.
Agreed, but most DBs are going to get torched by USC's receivers. There's a reason they average 500 yards/offense game. Phil didn't do them any good by refusing to put pressure on Maiava. Just let him stand back there, gain confidence and pick his guys.
