Ya’ll I don’t know that the facemask had any impact on that pick. Mark G could have thrown it right to the defense on the next play. Wasn’t like we missed a long field goal due to the missed penalty.

Refs giving them a run but I would say Parker takes it so far.

The difference today is MG not extending drives. 3 wide open guys and the game looks different.

It all adds up.

I think the other problem is Iowa had a rhythm and groove on that first drive. Everyone was getting involved, especially the WRs.

Then you completely abandon that script.
