ESPN studio guy just said what many of us have been saying - that RU should be much more comfortably in than being in the last group of teams with a bye (where Lunardi has us), which to me means a 9/10 seed - as of right now. Of course we need to win a couple more to be comfortable with being in, but that ought to happen, unless we have a meltdown.

Oh my god that was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen: Juwann Howard just took three steps onto the court and picked up a basketball that was rolling on a back court play. I’m dying of laughter right now! Technical!
Howard is a moron. He won with Beilein's team, now I'm looking forward to seeing him run Michigan off a cliff in the coming years.
Just saw a few minutes of the game, and that's no RACmosphere. Crowd seems nervous, like they are waiting for things to happen rather getting LOUD to help make things happen.

Michigan has the potential even this year to figure it out and make a run. Howard scares me as coach though

I said that exact thing to my gf about a half-hour ago. These teams look so sloppy, run too much iso ball, and don’t defend with nearly as much intensity as RU.
Add to that other conference games look like they play on much larger courts with plenty of room to move around, pass, dribble. That Rutgers D, man... its like offenses have to play in a phone booth (whatever that is).
In the BTN commentary after our game one of the studio guys.. okay.. it was the black one.. don't know his name.. is that Steve Bardo?.. he said you cannot prep against the Rutgers D unless you have the players to play that D... (and who does? went unsaid).
