I didn't read the bacotolgy thread in detail. But I'm hearing that our win against Michigan (#37 NET) becomes a Quad 1 win if they improve to 30. Based on that, we should want Michigan.

we want Iowa to win to remove Michigan from the discussion for now, having one less school to compete for a bid is better than another Q1 win...our game at Michigan next week will be a Q1 game no matter what since its on the road. would not want them to start to go on a run including beating us

Penn St, playing twice, is smacking the hell out of Minnesota, played once.
and yes Michigan, twice, stomping Iowa, once, is better for us.

If it would hell Rutgers win the B1G championship, I’d root for Michigan. But for any other scenario, I hope they get stomped in every sport

Very cogent thinking.

I however, prefer to root for both teams to lose by 35 points. And for McCaffery and HC Mo Howard…uh I mean Juwan to get 5 technicals each and to have a sissy fight in the hallway leading to the locker room!!

That was fun to type!! 😆

It's an Iowa home game and they are likely in the field of 68 already anyway. So keeping Michigan out should be the goal, as was stated above.

Did PSU play an afternoon game today? It's already a final, with Minnesota losing to the Nits. But why play on a Thursday afternoon?

Get Michigan out of there. If Michigan gets and stays in the Top 30 then people will be talking about them going to the dance. Knock them out, call them a Quad 2 win and call it even. A road victory against them would be Quad 1 anyway I assume.

#19 Iowa 0-6, 5-1, 4-0, 8-0
4 Q1, 2 Q2, Q3 left
#36 Michigan is 2-7, 3-2, 4-1, 4-0
6 Q1, 1 Q2 left
2 of them against each other

Q1 10 vs 15, Q2 8 vs 6, Q3 5 vs 5, Iowa 23, Michigan 26
Michigan has the chance at a better resume and better wins for us than Iowa, especially if we sweep Michigan to just 1 win at home to Iowa.

Probably a COVID makeup game. Yes, Penn State won.

Definitely Michigan IMO. We want them back in the Top 30 NET. We play them twice and Iowa only once, therefore Michigan is weighted more heavily in our SOS.
No because Iowa is a lock for the NCAA while Michigan will be battling with Rutgers and Indiana for last bids from Big Ten..

Iowa(17-7) is no lock at #19 and 7 remaining

No Q1s and 5 Quad 2 wins, @ 81 Virginia(16-10) 75-74, Neutral 65 Utah St(14-12) 94-75, vs 44 Indiana(16-9) 83-74, @ 103 Minnesota(12-12), @ 100 Md(11-14) 110-87. All 5 "quality" wins aren't holding up as any signature wins. Q2 loss @ PSU(11-12) 85-90.
(8-0) 8 Q4 wins +232 points, +29.0 per, Q1/2/3 (9-7) +73, Margin of victory +4.56.

Maryland 10 losses out of 13
Minn 11 losses out of 13
Indiana 4 straight

At least Michigan has @ Indiana, not home win, and vs Purdue 82-58.

Lol.. the big Dick lowers his shoulder and runs over the Iowa player. Gets the foul and then cry's like a baby.

Keegan Murray has been poor so far. Missing shots, poor defense.
