I'm pulling for HH to come in and light up the TE room. Great athlete and consummate team player.
HH starting at TE would mean a lot of bad things have happened to our TE room. He's an athlete but lots of very talented TE's in the roomI'm pulling for HH to come in and light up the TE room. Great athlete and consummate team player.
Not so dire if you consider he may be the best straight-line runner/blocker in the room.HH starting at TE would mean a lot of bad things have happened to our TE room. He's an athlete but lots of very talented TE's in the room
And one must not forget that schools like Notre Dame and Georgia saw that kid and wanted him in their program very badly. I'm excited about the tight ends. Should be one of our strongest positions this year.Nelson is a kid that oozes talent, but did a lot of sports in HS. Now we get to see what happens when that talent is tasked to just one sport. If he has actual football chops, it should be fun the watch.
Didn't Saban fly in and make a run at him too?And one must not forget that schools like Notre Dame and Georgia saw that kid and wanted him in their program very badly. I'm excited about the tight ends. Should be one of our strongest positions this year.
I know Marcus Freeman flew into Ainsworth.Didn't Saban fly in and make a run at him too?
I didn't hear that, but it's quite possible. Seems like everyone viewed him as a kid who was well worth the effort to go see. That kind of universal approval makes me think this kid will really come on this year.Didn't Saban fly in and make a run at him too?
I think Barkley has been clocked over that during an actual game. Assume he would be quicker with track style equipment and surface - I’m wondering if that was the example they referred to.I love how our local beat writers report stuff without knowing what they are actually saying. 21 mph is Saquon Barkley territory. So one of our backup TEs is actually that fast? LOL.
Maybe. Because for a couple years now, NU has released mph numbers that do not sound realistic.I think Barkley has been clocked over that during an actual game. Assume he would be quicker with track style equipment and surface - I’m wondering if that was the example they referred to.
It does seem either totally unrealistic or so taken out of context that it's meaningless when facts like this exist:Maybe. Because for a couple years now, NU has released mph numbers that do not sound realistic.
I assume those cameras on the QB helmets?Notice how (almost) all the receivers carry the ball high on their sternums after they catch the ball. It is the little details that will hopefully win games.
The staff has talked about the cameras being able to get the qb view as well as the audio hearing leadership and communication in the huddle.I assume those cameras on the QB helmets?
He only took an unofficial visit to Alabama. I don’t think Alabama was a serious contender. It was ND and Georgia.Didn't Saban fly in and make a run at him too?

I did see some of the fast dudes were running like 24mph. That's Forrest Gumpian. Also Ty Robinson ran 20.6 mph at the combine. Its totally different without pads
Same.I'm know this has been covered but if I want to read the Inside Nebraska crew's coverage and get access to their paid board, but I don't care about the On3 crew's coverage or their board, how do I subscribe to the Inside Nebraska stuff? When I click on Steve and Zack's articles it gives me an option to subscribe to On3... this whole merger thing is so convoluted haha
I noticed that too in yesterday's videos. Thanks for mentioning thatNotice how (almost) all the receivers carry the ball high on their sternums after they catch the ball. It is the little details that will hopefully win games.
Maybe best straight line runner but Nelson will give him a run for his money in that category. DEFINITELY not the best blocker in the room. Not so dire if you consider he may be the best straight-line runner/blocker in the room.

Yeah, but I'm also not going to think that our 2nd team inline tight end less than a year off an ACL is just a blink of an eye slower than Saquan or any of the other fastest guys in the NFL.The difference is how long it takes them to hit 21 mph. Barkley’s change of direction and acceleration are other worldly. Top end speed is one thing. Getting there in as few steps as possible is another.
That was what made Taylor Martinez so special. His top end speed may not have been elite, but his ability to get there in two steps definitely was.The difference is how long it takes them to hit 21 mph. It’s still impressive to get that much mass going that fast.Yeah, but I'm also not going to think that our 2nd team inline tight end less than a year off an ACL is just a blink of an eye slower than Saquan or any of the other fastest guys in the NFL.
