I know and I'm sure the vast majority of the fan base respect the Cats and enjoy being around your fan base. Also, Mike
Anderson is one of the nicest and most charitable coaches you'll meet on a personal level. Calling our players, coaches
and fan base thuggish is surprising. We are hoping to return to success on a yearly basis which is good for the SEC and good for the Cats.

Hog fans will be rooting for you guys to run the table and complete your historic season. Much respect, Hognation.

Many on our board have been equally shocked at the venom and lack of respect thrown at our Cats from all quarters.

I guess we just have a bad taste in our mouths hogfan. You're one of the few to offer much in the way of congrats. Your players and coaches just made excuses. The last thing Anderson said in his post game is that the Hogs just ran out of time. That's a joke!

Your players were talking trash before, during, and after the game, and they were very rough during the game, sending our boys to the bench bleeding multiple times and fouling hard a bunch of times.

So yeah anyone with eyes could see the attitude of the Arkansas players. UK fans just don't appreciate it much, especially when this team has bigger goals in mind. Try showing and playing with respect. I think that's what UK fans wanted to see.

JJ, there were numerous reports all over the Nashville area about your guys going up to the UK players in the hallway in front of the dressing room, talking trash on Saturday. This took root and caused a lot of Hawg bashing in Nashville and on this board.

Most here were kind of shocked at the hate coming from Arky players/coaches/fans. We've always respected you guys and most here want you to succeed because it's good for the conference and good for all of us in general.

We need to get back to the respectful rivalry we had in the 90's.

I've been in Texas for over 30 years and I have to say that Arkansas fans are some of the worst I've ever encountered. Hated it when they were admitted to the SEC due to their obnoxious fan base. Try living in DFW where there's a ton of Hog fans and see how you like it around basketball season.

Hog fans are obnoxious, but no more than most fan bases. I despise the current roster though. Cant find a likeable player in the bunch. They have horrible attitudes and play a borderline dirty game. It screams little brother syndrome. They know they are inferior, so they act like little brats trying to prove themselves. Hogs will get respect when they act like they deserve to be there. Play like men, play hard, and play with class and youll get your due respect win or lose. This team is no where close. Look no further than florida as an example. They knew they were outmanned, but they played their butts off and never lost composure. They were classy in the post game press connference. They acted like they have been there before.

Well at least we see your true colors now. So, our players and other media guys are liars, I suppose? There were multiple reports about the Arkansas players running their mouths after UK's game with Auburn. From Cauley-Stein's comments after the game, it's clear the UK players took offense to some of the things that were said. I guess his comments are a lie, also? Ha!

It's not pride my friend. It's respect. Be respectful and respectable.

We wanted to have a clean game. Truth be told, we just wanted to get through the game without injury or incident. But it seems your guys had other plans based on their talk and their play. Well, they got what was coming to them.

I'm going on a friend I have on the staff. If it happened it was stupid. I have noticed some "street" behavior from some of our players I don't like. It didn't exist the majority of the time. I believe some of the time the players are trying to show confidence that the program is back. If it's disrespectful it needs to stop.

Hmmm,that's odd there seems to be video of the trash talking,hard to deny it when it's recorded and I saw the post game show and heard the snide comments by your coach and players.I've also seen the trash talk coming from your fans,considering it's been 20 years since your team was relevant ,you'd think there'd be a tad of humility

Op is full of crap. I have a good friend who was an Arkansas cheerleader and he said they hate the cats. He texted or called 10x yesterday telling me how much he wants them to lose, cal is a cheater, one and done blah blah blah. All Arkansas fans still live the glory days of the 90's (two good seasons) and root against us evertime we play. Your team,your coaches and obviously your players are full of UK hate. Cal pretty much called Anderson out with the entire " play the game with joy instead of hate" media speech. Not one of your playes said anything complimentary about how good UK played .. They just went back to that old" if we played our brand of basketball". Hey Arkansas, Williamson isn't walking through the doors to play again so I suggest you find a "new brand" of basketball.

I had no ill will towards Ark, and was hoping to see them get better, but that has changed after this weekend. Ark players were running their mouths since getting blown out in Rupp. Your players ran to our tunnel to talk trash after we beat auburn. Then they get it taken to them in the championship game and all we hear is excuses. UK got two more hours of rest or we ran out of time is laughable. I got no problem with a team having an attitude and playing tough, but not being able to back up your talk and then make excuses makes your team look pretty bad.

I was at the SEC tournament several years ago when a Arkansas fan "Called me a disgrace." I had on my UK sweatshirt and a Bill Clinton Mask. That was when Arkansas was competitive. They even laughed when I almost fell from the second story balcony because I couldn't see thru the mask. They have a great fan base and will make ticket prices much higher if they start winning again.

JJ, l lived in Fayetteville and worked at UA. Loved Fayetteville. I think you will acknowledge that UA has a history of hiring wacky coaches. Nolan Richardson is still convinced the NSA is the reason he lost even one game. I once had a 10:00am appointment with Houston Nutt. He showed up at 2:00pm and was irrate that people left. He gave new meaning to "football is more important than life." And, of course there is Petrino. What can one add about him. As a long time UA observer, I see what some of the other UK fans see. Anderson and his players, in the mold of Richardson, do not give any one else credit. They lost for reasons that had nothing to do with their opponents. The most obvious commment was "we lost because we did not play Arkansas basketball." They did not play their way simply because the opposition took away their game. End conversation. Acknowledge what happened, move on.
