Arkansas fans and their team can go pound sand. The only SEC I have any respect for is Alabama (football). They know what it's like to be the best and have everyone hate them for it. Like Cal said "mad, jealous and hateful isn't gonna win", and I agree with him. Arkansas couldn't back up all their trash talking, got embarrassed and started trying to hurt UK's players. And I'd bet junkyardhog's trailer payment that Mike Anderson told them to. You got beat down twice... Live with that. I hope we meet you again in the tournament, I like easy games that we can sit back and relax.

I don't mind Arkansas fans. But Mike Anderson teaches a dirty brand of basketball and that's what I don't like about the program currently. They tried to rough up Archie when we went they're a few years ago, and they foul hard and often every time they play us outside of Rupp.
I think that's a big part of what's wrong with CBB. Teams that are overwhelmed by the talent of the opposition play dirty in an attempt to even the playing field and the officials let them get away with it because they feel they need to make the foul counts even so it looks good.

I agree. Arkansas played dirty Sunday. Portis should have had a Flagrant 1 for assaulting our center. He should have fouled out in the first half. Cal got a bench warning for getting on Shows and Greene. They (Shows & Greene) should not have protected Portis. Pat Adams is as big a 'you-know-what' as Mike Anderson.
I hope Arkansas gets the **** kicked out of them by Wofford.
Thug ball. Plus they did not play thug ball effectively. UK out rebounded them, 33-25, out shot them 51-44 and out assisted them 16-5.
If you acknowledge Towns and WCS are better (or comparable), you just lost your argument. You surely wouldn't play Portis at guard or the three! (And I certainly would take Lyles and what he brings to the table over Portis if you really believe he could play the three.)
Portis would look good as the four on our Blue Platoon.
I was speaking in terms of top 5 overall players, not including positions. There is no way a guy who had a double double in 15/18 SEC games in the regular season isn't top 5 on any college roster.
Portis and WCS are a toss up IMO, just depends if you need more offense or defense. WCS has a full year on Portis though. Towns being just a freshman gives him more potential.
But now we're just talking about the future instead of who you would rather have this year...splitting hairs
