Wow!
I've always had a healthy respect for Arkansas and their program. That is just pure garbage though.
Go tell your excuse-making buddies on hogville to have a little more humility, then we can get back to the old camaraderie.
We'd like you to be good, but as long as your buddies and also some of your players are trying to downplay the best CBB team since '96, we're gonna come with the heat.
Anybody who remembers the Archie Goodwin commitment knows how Arkansas fans are. I have never, ever, seen a fanbase spew such venom about an 18 year old high school student.

That's exactly the stuff (and much more) that I was talking about to the OP. Didn't just start with yesterday's game either. Lots of posts like that over the course of several days.
I hope arkansas loses in the first round badly. Used to respect them a little and their fans but after the last two games, screw em.
That guy admitted that he wasn't a Hog fan. Poor taste by whomever he was.
I've seen this board take AJ through the mud on many occasions over her liberal views and some have said that she's been a frequent flyer at the UK mens dorm, again, on this board.
And we best remember the reception Goodwin got last year when UK went to Arkansas. It was absolutely dirty and low down.
I used to really like Arkansas, but they can take a hike. Anderson teaches thug ball. Nothing less.
If Louisville and Arkansas played.....I really don't know who I would root for...........maybe that they would just kill each other i suppose.
It would be easier to answer if I knew what to expect from UNC. They are so unpredictable and the range between "good" UNC and "bad" UNC is so vast. I will say that good UNC beats Arkansas 80% of the time but bad UNC loses 80% of the time. Arkansas is going to claw against UNC no matter what. The Tarheels will get their game if they play them, so the right UNC team needs to show up if they want to win.

I missed the Sunday game but if anything good came out of it besides the trophy; we know the Cats can take a beating and still hand out a beating.
That might pay dividends in the next six games.
I always had a healthy respect for the Hogs back in the 90s. Those were epic nail biter games! Glad to see Arky getting back to a competitive level but obviously some hog players/coaches and fans need to learn some class.

It honestly could go either way. In fact, I smiled when I saw that potenitally could happen because I think Ark can knock them off.
I'm not impressed with the way UNC*** plays D and Ark can score, score, score. I think the game could turn into a scoring contest and Ark has the advantage in that department.

What do you OP? Your players was acting like thUgs! They new they could not match up so the start trying to hurt out players. It was low and Portis telling Willie to F-off on national TV! That was Low and game was over Anderson calls tome out at end to stall celebration! Give me a break! You cannot defend your coach and players they were dead wrong PERIOD!!!
All that stuff just backs up my personal experience with an Arky fan in Rupp this year. All the stuff that came out in Nashville along with the quotes above and the Ashley tweets just confirm my belief that Arkansas fans are the worst in the SEC. I've had nothing but good experiences with all other SEC fans I've had personal contact with but not Arkansas. I cheer for all SEC schools and always have. No longer, I'm also one hoping Arkansas loses in their first game and hope they get embarrassed.
Man their fans P-ssy's hurt really bad! Lol come to knock us off that perch lol!!! Classic! Every time you have tried during a game that truly means something its an EPIC FAIL! HISTORY SUPPORTS THAT!
Actually, yes it did. Thread after thread of calling Arkansas players thuggish, their fans trash, scum, Ozark thugs, etc.
I like Arkansas. Always have. I'm glad they're good enough to want to talk trash. Rivalries are great. But I feel no need to trash their team or their fan base, as they're human beings, unlike a certain team/fan base that resides elsewhere in Kentucky.
I remember Arky fans back in the Pelphrey days coming here with words of admiration for our team and hoping for the days of old when they were good and we were their competition. I'm glad they're getting closer to those days. But a lot of you were downright nasty.
Doesn't mean I liked the way they played us, that was no Louisville hack job.
It's somewhat ironic that one day earlier a large portion of our fan base gave an out-manned Auburn squad a standing ovation for their outstanding (but clean) effort to upset us. With that said, I'll still pull for the Hogs in the Big Dance unless they play UK or another SEC school.
I don't really care what Arkansas does in the tournament but since we played them at home and beat them, they really haven't played a great game the rest of the season. Almost got beat by SC, played horrible against GA and didn't play well in either of our games. If I was a hog fan, that would worry me a lot in their first game.
90% of your fans posts are either whining about the refs, whining about UK fans, or wishing harm to the UK players.

I watched Katz Korner today and Anderson was on. He called WCS the best defensive player in the country and complimented the Harrison twins. Said that ole miss and A&M played really well against you but still lost so that shows how good you guys can be and said you will be extremely tough for anyone to beat.

Do you want me to pull some posts from Hogville.net's Jump Ball regarding our team, coach, and state? Pure meth induced hatred. Go back to your own forum and stop being hypocritical about being a decent Hog fan. They don't exist.
Honestly never have understood the love affair with Ark. and UK fans. To be a so called BB player in the SEC, the had maybe 500 fans at the most. That is not much of a fan base. They are front runners, they came in the 90's and called the hogs, they were on top. I could care less about what people say about Ark. fans. I think they are terrible. I work there at least once a month. Let's see, we were up 31 and my phone blew up talking about wanting one more chance, we came back, we will beat you second time. Calls to Finebaum week of game were comical, week after game were comical, no credit, we will beat them again in tourney.
Good ole yesterday, UK just drills them, not one text about game, no congrats. Texts saying we still have Bobby Portis, POY, you believe that. I must say Bobby Portis is POY but could not start for UK, not sure anyone even Qualls could start for UK.
The blue blood fan bases never acted this way. I would say Ark. is along the lines of S. Carolina FB and UCONN and maybe Indiana fans, Indiana fans used to be somewhat classy. These fan bases are goons, big homers of home team, pretty terrible fans.
I have never understood people talking about Ark being engaged in BB and being a big rival. BS. They are Ole Miss or Alabama in BB, A top rate BB program would bring a few more fans than they have done the last few years.
The blueblood programs do know how to act a lot better than these teams. I just have never seen any evidence that they are a knowledgeable fan base, a travel fan base, maybe 92-95 but they have not traveled to any tourney since etc..
Their writers are homers, fans can't admit that they are not much anymore. They want acceptance so bad, they want the acknowledgement and pat on the head that we respect them and think they are worthy. They are not, they are Gamecocks in FB.
I just find them lousy fans, total classless. They are such homers.
I wish them well in tourney but this notion they are relevant is gone, they are a good program but not very classy.
One caveat, the guys that post on here from Ark are pretty good posters but usually after they post here they run to Hogs board and just obliterate UK. Sir Oinks, Three Hog Night, Like them and enjoy their posts.

Well when you are supposed to be good like they said Arkansas was and you get beat twice bad, this is what your going to hear, that's the only thing left for their fans to do, bad mouth Kentucky, the two games they won last year were in overtime and easily good have gone the other way, to all you Arkansas fans, KENTUCKY has always and will always RULE the SEC in basketball.
lordy mercy, even the media took to twitter that was in nashville on how portis and company ran down the tunnel to trash talk..so please do not lie, also, you sure didnt watch the game, when your players were basically throwing punches in the mouths, eyes, etc...so take it elsewhere..Kept thinking to myself
