Doxxing is out of control and it goes beyond "play stupid games, win stupid prizes".

Look like the kid in the pic but aren't actually that kid and never even went to that rally? Sorry about your damn luck, here are some death threats to the rest of your family anyway, and we're contacting their employers to try and get their jobs, and we're contacting prospective colleges warning them about you.

Nice job, moral better. You really showed him.

* Breaking news: Harry Connick Jr will be boycotting the Super Bowl. :joy::joy::joy:

Just hope they don't end up having to cancel the whole thing now!

* I love Jimmy Buffett, but why in TF would he be asked to sing the National Anthem at a hugely important sporting event? And then the arrogant, face-smirking "mic drop".....o_O

* Ran the Louisiana Marathon in Baton Rouge yesterday. Did the first half in 1:38, and the second half.....in 2:11. :joy:

Ugh. What a beatdown. That is not how you're supposed to "pace" a long run. Still a PR by 4 minutes, though, as I haven't run a 26.2 competitively in years.

* I'll tell you who slayed a LOT of puss -- MLK, that's who. [cheers]

* O'Doyle rules.

* You was a pretty solid show, and very clever. Certainly gave me a lot of good ideas on how to properly cyber stalk, for sure. And my god, ole boy sure does like to wack it in the strangest of places.

* Feel 1000x more confident about playing MSU at home now. No way we drop this one.

All you need to know about how messed up we are at the moment is you know the kid's name, the Native American guy's name but not the guy's name screaming the vile and disgusting **** at the kids and the NA.

Oh, and that people instead of owning up to horrible takes or propagating falsehoods seldom have the sack to admit they're wrong and attempt to right that wrong.

In short, we're f'd the longer we stay this course.

Counterpoint: Leaving the flag stick in has easily saved 35 seconds on 2019 golf rounds.

I'm 4 episodes in on 'You' , and on a bit of an extended pause. The cheese is almost too much to overcome.

-Lost a bit of respect for Tucker w/ all that -- dude is the KING moral authority, yet he passed on the opportunity to walk his HOT take back like most other responsible journos have now that the full picture has been painted. He's the best in the biz w/ UK Sports, but obviously still a supreme *****.

* UK cheerleading brings home #24. Unreal.

* Look, I think Trump is an absolute clown. Any unbiased person should see that. Unfit.

So is Pelosi.

But so are all the people still trying to vilify those CovCath kids. Anyone who watched all the vids know they didn’t surround that guy. He got into their face. And one of the people with him was telling them to go back to Europe. That is the actual racism, no?

The whole damn thing started when a group of African American protesters started calling the 2 CC African Americans the N-word and yelling other stuff at them. Hell, they told one that the white kids were going to steal his organs one day.

The only racist thing the CC students did was do the tomahawk war chant in the Indian’s face. I never did hear any of them chanting Build The Wall as reported.

The kid who was face-to-face literally did nothing wrong and yet people are trying to ruin his life.

We all know Cov Cath kids are ********, just look at Assist By Hawkins. I understand the initial reaction from the first vids and pictures that were out there. But anyone still condemning their actions after all of the vids is just trying to blindly push their agenda.

Sickening.

-Pretty sure no one outside of Kentucky cares anything about that whole situation. Everyone down here knows I’m a proud Kentuckian and no one has brought it up or even said a word about it. It’s a non story anyway. It could have something to do with the fact that mostly no one down here gets involved in that tabloid garbage. Mainlanders...smh.

-Is First Take the worst sports show ever? Trending toward a hard yes.

-56 this morning. Brrrr. Toboggan and jacket kind of day.

Are you a F’ing idiot? Its the #1 topic trending on Twitter, covered by the NY Times and was the lead story of Good Morning America.

- Anyway- how much better is life when the Wildcats are balling? I’ve had a hop in my step all weekend.

It was claimed you had to die to leave Tattoos and Scars. Apparently ghosts don't follow the news but they sure do seem to post too much in here.

- Great win Saturday. Watched with a bunch of Auburn grads I’ve met here in Nashville. Good guys, and they love Pearl. Very sweet victory.

- Hosted a pregame then rented a party bus for my buddy’s 30th. Everyone in their finest jumpsuit/windbreaker. Absolute blast. 35 late twenty and early thirty-something’s on a bus cruising Broadway. Ended up at the Wild Beaver. Hell of a time.

- @B.B.d.K. : Up and Vanished, Monster (Atlanta and Zodiac), In the Dark, Slow Burn, Dirty John, Dr Death. None of those are really new except for Monster: Zodiac, but all worth a listen if you haven’t already.

- Don’t really have a true rooting interest in the NFL, though I’m trying to get into Titans, but went out to watch games yesterday in Midtown...holy ****. Absolutely slammed at every bar along Demonbreun. Forget how truly dominant the NFL is.

-The state of Florida just always stays above the political fray.

-Getting glasses next week. My eyesight has deteriorated at relative warp speed the last few years. I went from slight prescription to barely seeing letters on the TV from the couch. It'll be cool to see details of things beyond 5' and not just blurs, I guess.

-Nice time Saturday for richie's 40th. Beer Depot and then Patrick's. That's a pretty solid one-two lineup as far as neighborhood dives go.

-5 year old got me a candy cane, $0.75, and a gold bookmark (taken out of my wife's book) for my birthday. God bless her. Wife bought me EarPods with my own money.

-Haven't been to Rupp since Ulis and Murray were starting. Wouldn't mind sneaking my way back sometime soon.

-Sick and F'n tired of losing to Kansas.

-I was happy to be wrong about the Cov Cath boys. I still wouldn't let my kid wear one of those stupid red hats (and wonder WTF the chaperones were doing during all that), but they didn't do anything wrong and arguably conducted themselves well all things considered.

-Need some new Sturgill soon.

Everyone down here knows I’m a proud Kentuckian

You live in Shitsville, USA because that’s where you were born and if you weren’t from there you’d make fun of it. But by all means, act like Kentucky is a godsend of a place to live solely on the fact that you grew up there. #tribalism

You’d feel the same about Iowa City if you grew up there but don’t let that get in your way. Let’s act like Kentucky is a ****ing rainbow of a place to live. I LOVE Kentucky, but I’m not dumb enough to believe if I grew up somewhere else I’d be begging my wife to move there.

While this is deplorable in and of itself, do people doubling and tripling down on the misinformation really want to keep going down this road and start making people pay as a whole for the actions of a few? Kinda seems like we've tried this throughout history and well, it didn't really work out well. It's also worth nothing that it was in 2015 and the kids in the video Saturday were likely not in any way involved but narratives have to be pushed.

I'm curious if there were any pre-internet studies that examined the societal consequences of giving everyone an unfiltered voice. I feel like we should have seen most of this coming. Witch hunts, lefty nuts, righty nuts, anti-vaxxers, flat-earthers, Infowars, MeToo, etc...

The loudest and most obnoxious people, of every kind, find their echo chambers and go nuts.

I've bitched about Citizen's United plenty, but I think what has done just as much damage is TV news stations, whether it be CNN, Fox, or whoever being presented as actual news sources. They're all just a **** hair shy of being the WWE, and they've made it pretty difficult for Americans to get unbiased news. Everything is always spun in one direction or the other. If you want to know what happened in a situation, you probably aren't going to get the complete story from any of these channels.

There seems to be no room for moderate Americans anymore. If you aren't screaming and yelling your opinion, and it's not a hot take with dire consequences for whoever you're speaking about, it's completely ignored. 95% of people can't just sit back, think critically about an issue for a bit, and form a reasonable opinion.

This ridiculousness works both ways. Case in point: the faux outrage over Baby It’s Cold Outside.

Y’all know that, like, NOBODY is actually offended by that. It’s hysterical. The only offense is the people who are offended that others are offended (except they’re really not).

Face it — “the media” is DAMN GOOD at triggering all of us.
