Why are people attacking and attempting to ruin lives?

Because we're all 10 feet tall and bulletproof hiding behind a keyboard and a VPN. That and if you're keeping score at home, people as a whole kinda suck dicks.

Edit: And Identity Politics.

I still think MOST people can wait to gather facts and form a rational opinion. As you said, it's the loudest (relative) few that are hogging all the air space.

I really still think 70 to 80+% of Americans are moderate and reasonable. But the problem is, we mostly only hear the fringes of each side. Because being extreme and vocal is their nature.

Been a while since I visited catpaw so thought I’d say what’s up

-whether he was in the right or wrong, that CovCath kid has a punchable face. Just does. Could be a great kid, doesn’t change the fact his face is punchable. Definitely worked against him in that video imo

-Chiefs fan here. If the Super Bowl were today I wouldn’t watch it out of pure redassery. Doesn’t seem hard to just put 10:00 on the clock and play out OT like a normal quarter. <<<<wouldn’t have an opinion on OT if my team won.

-Manhattan Project on Frankfort ave is a pretty solid spot to watch #sports and enjoy a little GAMBOL. Also $3 22oz domestos all Sunday long.

-huge for the Cats to get the W at Auburn.

-would hate Tyler Herro with every ounce of my being if he wasn’t a Cat. Don’t know why, but my first instinct is to dislike white non-UK CBB players.

-scraping ice off my windshield tops my list of life’s minor inconveniences. God forbid I have to get gas afterwards.

-Booked a place in Nash for SECT weekend yesterday

Happy Mondee, folks

Only events outside the norm are newsworthy.

Now that there are so many news "sources", each one has to be more and more outrageous, or they won't draw attention, and they'll fail.

To hell with the facts, it's all about the clicks.

There's a 100% chance that all these folks doxxing and wanting to jettison that kid to the sun used slurs, belittled and demeaned another human or culture, and are generally guilty of much greater affronts to society than smiling at a drummer sometime between today and their birth. "Shame him," they yell, "Expel him from school," they demand.

And, this is just a guess, none of them would be willing to give up their own degree or career to rectify their past transgressions.

-falling for/promoting stupid crap via facebook memes is not *remotely* equivalent to doxxing minors and attempting to ruin peoples lives for wearing a ******* hat. There is no comparison here.

The worst is when you pull up to Starbucks and your damn window is frozen and you have to open your door like a damn IDIOT to get your iced coffee.

Another thing absolutely nobody actually does is call a baby a “theybie” to keep it gender neutral. It’s all just a big con to make goose get mad online which I am 100% FOR.

I will say, it was pretty ironic watching an internet mob go after some teens in a school group and chastising them for being a “mob”. At the end of the day, gyero is the only good place online. The rest is absolute garbage and will eventually be our downfall.

I’m really pretty much sick of social media. I don’t really want to know how everybody feels about everything (except in here.) Can we get a no spin news network?

Was pulling hard for the Saints. Brady vs Brees would have been awesome. Loser retires!

Brady still got it, but I think we saw the future last night. Mahome’s is a star.

Dinner Saturday, was a victim of double tipping. Feel like they should mention gratuity has been added. It’s dark, numbers are tiny, I need bifocals. Damnit.

My boss is a CovCath guy who recently vacationed stayed at the Cave City Teepees and the first thing I asked him was if he had deleted all pictures from that vacation yet. BOOM ROASTED.

Also, Spinzone: CovCath has never been considered as “Elite” until this past weekend.

Cov Cath is definitely more “elite” than Holy Cross or New Cath, but not quite as elite as St. X or Moeller. If we’re being straight-up ...

The thing with Herro is that he's legit good, like Deion Sanders saying about the one white guy at the combine He can *RUN* run!

It is kind of funny to watch the tropes fail with him. His shot is not where it should be, he's a pest on defense without being actually good, he's athletic as ****, and he has brass balls.

As a freshman shooting guard, he's a poor man's Jamal Murray, and that is not a bad thing.

- Just bc one hates Trump doesn't make them a hardcore liberal. Colin Powell has always been my ideal President. He's a Republican.

- It kills me when fans say, "I hate that player with every ounce of my body." Oh really? Then you're a loser. If anyone on here ever met Grayson Allen, you wouldn't say a ******** word. If Herro didn't play for us, I wouldn't hate him. I'd be jealous that we didn't have him.

- I love this team. Each game provides me with more confidence for March. I can't wait!

Are you a F’ing idiot? Its the #1 topic trending on Twitter, covered by the NY Times and was the lead story of Good Morning America.
I don’t do Twitter, watch GMA or read the Times.
It's national news you dipshit - both Fox & CNN have spent 15 minute segments this hour on it, as has every other news organization I'm sure. God you're awful.
I don’t watch any of those news channels. Why do people anyway? It’s all BS to get you mad or frustrated. Life is much better without that stuff ruining your day.

Hey guys look, a high school kid and an Indian stared at each other in a city thousands of miles away.

Tell me again how that affected you?

Live in the moment with the people around you gang, life lessons from yours truly. Thank me later.

PS. Get off social media, it’s for losers mostly and studies have shown it actually makes you depressed not happier.

Always cracks me up when people can't tell the difference between moderate and "HE AINT NO REPUBLICAN/DEMOCRAT, RINO DINO IMO YOCO LOCO YOKO ONO."

Yes, the media and life long politicians ruined our perception of people who aren't bat **** crazy grabbing every headline (and dollar bill) to be gained.

I mean, what level of narcissistic dickhead to you have to be to quote multiple people in the same post just to address what they said about you.

Are we still allowed to call people ****? Because Roguemocha is a ***.

I think the OT rules for the NFL are as close to perfect as you can get. Since the rule change, the team that won the coin toss has won 55% of the games.

Meanwhile, in college football, a recent study showed that the team on offense second has won 61.5% of the time, and that 71% of games ended after the first overtime.

I assume that in pro football, if you gave both teams at least one possession, you'd still see around the same advantage (as the current rules) to the team that won the coin toss, as they would elect to go second. However, the games would be longer and the players would take more hits. But I get the "both offenses should get a shot at it" angle.

My level.

-Literally just asked the two people next to me about it and neither had any clue what I was talking about. Given, the Keys are much more apt to not pay attention to stupid **** like that but hey if you guys are enjoying it and a little Michael Strahan/Robin Roberts in the morning have at it. The point was that it’s a dumb, pointless story that no one actually cares about besides people in KY or people wanting something to be upset about.

Joey, if I deleted my account here then I would’ve NEVER heard about the Indian and the white kid.

-In other news, you all keep forgetting that I’m not at Tats anymore. Took over a business 1/1/19 and just working at one bar now.

Another great thing about the current political climate in this country is that because it’s gotten sooooo far left and sooooo far right there will be basically no politicians worth voting for for the foreseeable future. This **** isn’t going anywhere. And I hate to say it but rogue is basically right. Social media is the worst. I’m not gonna delete it, so you’ll have to deal with me on there. But just know that I don’t like it.

- Did not realize this Patriots team was 11-5, but that doesn’t matter when the season is on the line in the playoffs and Brady is coming right you.

- Poker for Bourbon: I’m up 12 bottles to 3 in the last week.

- Hit UK +3.5 and 2nd half Auburn -5 Saturday. Cha-Ching

- 11th Anniversary was last Thursday and like most years we just did a Dinner and desert deal, nothing fancy. I love my wife for this low maintenance approach as long as I give her 3 hours in a salon the morning of. Just a real pleasure to not have to out do myself each year.

- Murder Mountain makes me very happy that we are legalizing marijuana slowly but surely. A bunch of idiots hyped up on meth and pot in possession of guns are certainly not who should be in charge of what could be an 80 billion dollar market.

- My 8 year old is a true antagonist. He knows how bad I hate UL and since his papaw(wife’s side) likes them he loves to poke the bear. He is getting quite the kick out of liking Ville Grill from a field trip last week and demanding we take him there for his birthday next week knowing I have to pay.

- Dave and Busters opening on Feb 4 and I can’t wait.

- Left Anytime Fitness and joining Planet Fitness was a huge upgrade at half the cost. How does anyone compete with them?

- F Monday’s!

Nearly every possible aspect of this situation has been beaten into the ground... but if you have a voice/platform/media outlet and you’re gonna immediately come out with a “hot take” before a clear picture is available, don’t try to hide that “hot take” if you later change your mind by deleting it.

It’s human nature to point out when you’re right and deemphasize when you’re not but deleting record of the latter rightly causes distrust.

Simply put, report the retraction with the same emphasis you reported the original story.
