I blame Tubby. MFer goes on a rant...probably gets fired...we likely lose the best player in the country...and one of our best players gets hurt. That's not a coincidence.
We celebrated UofL's fall too much.

Per the karma bitches

I understand HIPAA and all that ********, but it's mildly infuriating not knowing what the injury is. Saying day to day and not identifying the injury basically gets your hopes up for every single game going forward (although without him that may only be 2).

If he's actually out for the year, just say it. If he slightly turned an ankle, just say it.

You guys are some fickle bitches.

We've also had some guys return: Poythress, Jones, Lamb, Briscoe, Willy, Twins

Washington isn't on any draft board out there. He's not going anywhere.
If Vando hurt his foot, he's not going to have much of a choice.
Green is back.

So of the players we care about you lose Knox and SGA. Maybe Sacha transfers. Diallo, I can't see why'd he go but don't really care. Wenyen, should return. Richards is back.

Damn boys, I'm pissed as well, but 3 hours ago everything was fine, we were winning the SECT and a dangerous NCAAT.

They can't for seeding purposes. Also, it really doesn't benefit anyone to talk about injuries.

They definitely should talk about it if it was a minor injury and he is going to be back. Doing otherwise is stupid. Now, if he really is out for the year, then I guess you're right, marcus pretend he might be back.

He's done, Pal. If it wasn't a big deal then nothing would've been said.

Obscure reference to injury with no specifics on a guy with a chronic injury? He's listed as day-to-day b/c they don't want to hurt the seeding.
*Would love to be wrong.

People aren't as excited about Keldon Johnson as they should be, imo. Can't recall a Top 10 player who's received such little fanfare among the fan base.

Blame Hami Diallo. A top 10 player (with a half year in the system already) who was still remarkably underwhelming this year? I think it's recalibrated excitement and expectations for Johnson and Quickley (but not Herro, apparently). Not fair to the kid, but true IMO.

Maybe Fields, but Johnson is a BALL PLAYER, not an athlete in a basketball uniform. Steve Smith has coached as many (more) studs than anyone at that level, and he does nothing but rave about him, especially offensively.

-Not gloating, but Hami has had pretty much the year I expected him to (a little worse, I suppose). Was never sold.

The Oak Hill people bring up Carmelo Anthony a lot when it comes to their previous players who remind them of Keldon Johnson.

This is fine, imo.

Looked pretty good in Gainesville. Just can’t avoid getting doored on the road in the SEC come March sometimes. Enjoy the ride.

Can’t wait for the final word on 2017-2018 from Anth’s little Tony’s crew. Be interesting to see how this season went!

Ah, seems like I touched a nerve.

I'll let you know so you can direct the boys where to focus their snark.

I'm just really looking forward to Richards' extended minutes. I'm giddy with the thought of him wandering around the lane with his back turned to the action 50% of the time, dropping the ball and it rolling out of bounds while he claps his hands and says "my bad", and when misses an extry easy dunk. I'm on pins and needles.

I know you all get lost in the cynicism of your little text crew, but yeah, team has looked pretty good the last couple weeks and starting to click at the right time.

We had wins against mid-level teams in the conference (except a coach-less Ole Miss team), which were ok I guess. sandwiched in between a 4 game skid to start the month, and a blow-out loss in the finale.

A better effort against Florida wouldve left some room for more optimism, obviously. I got caught up in our little streak a bit too- thinking we were gonna hit stride, but looking back at it- i'm not sure it was all that impressive. I dont really think you can look at that 4 game stretch and honestly think we were going to be a legit NCAA contender.

I'm pissed as well, just don't think:
-Everyone is leaving
-Next years team is going to suck
-the incoming guys are all going to be awful b/c of Diallo's performance.

If things weren't going well, why you all mad?

Grain of salt with this one because it's me, but here we go...

My feeling all season long has had me wondering if this was what fans of Indiana and Louisville were experiencing in the late 90s. Bobby and Denny were great coaches until they weren't. It happened quickly.

I’m just hiding people. SAE- done. 73- done. Booker- been done for awhile now. Sports and this thread are supposed to be fun. Who wants to wade through ******** every day? It’s not like we’re enduring the Tubby and Gillispie years.

You want to ***** and moan- fine. I’m not going to read it.

I mean we just were a buzzer beater away from a Final 4 and being the team to beat in said Final 4. So that is super quick if what you say is true.
