You know the former player I was extremely happy to see at BBM?

Todd Svoboda. Dude almost died, beat cancer, looked great.

When those '93 guys started coming out...

Dale Brown (Oh man!)
Rodney Dent (OH MAN!)
Todd Svoboda (SIGWKBE KDG TOAK WIT E78 KGA WJFEVGMWK)

Loved that 93 team. Dale Brown is one of my all-time favorite Cayts. If he doesn't get injured, we beat Michigan, even with Mashburn on the bench.

Tuesday Randoms:

- Hmm, UK coaches in touch with Billy Preston again. Kid is a monster talent, now at Oak Hill and will be a spring commit. Imagine Cal just wants to keep tabs on him and see what kind of shape he'll be in eligibilitywise late in the game depending on who we have at that point.

- Beard guys- what beard oil do you use and/or what is some advice? I'm going in this year...at least for a month.

- I'm not a big Halloween/Christmas decorations guy myself, but I'm glad others are.

- Am I going to have to root for Cleveland to win a championship TWICE in one year? F'ing Cleveland?

- Not going to have to suit up but will have to wear a shirt and tie at the new gig. TJ Maxx still the best place to go for dress shirts and that sort of thing?

- How's Westworld so far? I have all the eps sitting in my DVR.

- Get to show the lass's two bestfriends from high school around this weekend. They're in town from NYC. Excited to meet them, but will be ditching them for the UK game Saturday night. @assistbyhawkins you have plans for the game?

Im having Chloe's bday patrty with 12 10 year olds at Axis Ally on the Levee from 4-6 then a family get together for her aftwerwards. We will get together one day bud. Love to see ya. Unlike others in here, you are a true friend who makes an effort to get together.

-Westworld is dope. Thoroughly enjoyed the first three 'sodes. Same writer who did Jurassic Park. Apparently the first 5 seasons are already written. Really looking forward to seeing where they go with that show.

-I like Bruno Mars. Don't get all the hate he gets.

-This is the first year I've really gotten into GAMBOL and it absolutely consumes me on the weekends. That, combined with the amount of drinking I already did on the weekends, I think has fully transformed me into a corrupt POS degenerate.

But GD it's fun. I'm touched when basketball season starts.

-Hyped for basketball season. I already love this year's group of guys. I read some of their personal facts from the bios on UK Athletics. Here's a few facts that stuck out.

Bam-LOVES Katy Perry (good for him)

Garbriel-favorite hobby outside of basketball is watching anime. Also, probably a big fan of hentai porn.

Monk-besides basketball enjoys fishing and riding four-wheelers [laughing]. Expect a lot of chemistry between him and Willis this year.

-We're beating MSU on Saturday.

Enjoy your Tuesday

Lots of sad Wildcat fans walking out of the Superdome in 1993. And jackass UNC and Michigan fans trying to buy our tickets...hey, will you take $10? How about $25?...Hey, why don't you go f**k yourself.

We didn't have the personal to press Simon and Bibby for sure. It got us into serious foul trouble we could not afford. The possession Arizona scored before the Epps bomb to send it to OT Bibby was being guarded on the perimeter by Padgett who got blown by with ease. Just a poorly managed game. And Miles Simon smug face
You would think Pitino would've learned something about 3-guard teams (and their ability to handle our press) from South Carolina handing us our asses twice. But nope.

Grizzly bears and Bonzo.

That's basically the list of people who eat cold salmon for breakfast.
And j3ws. Lots and lots of j3ws. Throw 3-4 slices on your over-medium eggs and go straight to the betting window, because you just made a profit.[banana]

Lox suck because of cream cheese. **** is awful.

* The wife got me some beard oil from Kiehl's and it did precisely nothing to help. Only tip I was given that is true is that once you get past the two week point it stops being a pain in the ***.

* Not buying anything on the football team. Entirely plausible that we get to six wins but we would have to defy just about every historical norm of the program to do so.

* The "we want Todd" cheers and the jubilation when he popped up from the bench were probably the most impressionable moments of my early fandom. Shew, that Charlotte trip is still etched in my memory like no other.

* Had a random naked guy (he did find a towel) on the loose outside our office last Friday... one of many fun experiences at the Watterson Office Park. Poor fella had a prostitute steal his valuables and run out of the extended stay next door and he pursued. He really seems as if he doesn't have a care in the world other than finding his damn wallet.

I love Salmon, and I'm down w/ Cream Cheese these days (used to hate it) -- the combo, meh.

Had the Lox Breakfast Bagels at both Barney Greengrass & Russ & Daughters just to make sure...I guess it's just not for me.

If I ever see a naked man roaming down the street my first instinct is to take a snap and post it on the internet. Well done.

Sheesh...are you 12? I'm sure Adam will chime in soon w/ something from L'Occitane to help keep you smooth and supple. Beard oil...wow.

And grow up on the apparel...pop up to Nordstrom, get sized, and get some nice dress shirts and act like you have been there before. Time to shed the H&M look, Chad. Order on-line going forward. Good grief.

And there plenty of nice "stores" where 2 yr olds don't throw up on the shirts....someone must buy their clothes at KMart.

Here's a recommendation for your beard: Shave and shower and act like an adult and productive member of society. The worst part of this hipster trend is guys growing disgusting beards.

I never got to experience the Pitino years as my first year at UK was in 1999 (one year after the championship). My heartbreak games were Marquette and UAB. As someone who wasn't a UK fan before going to UK (sorry I'm an out-of-stater) the Pitino worship was cult like. People talked about it so glowingly, probably like I'll be talking about the Calipari years in 10 years.

Salmon sucks. For some reason I can't get into it, its about the only popular food I don't like. However I love it raw and its my favorite type of sushi, go figure.

Always given Anth tons of **** for shopping at Kmart, but he's set in his ways I guess.

-Steinmart, ftw. TJ Maxx & Marshalls are so hit and miss, but you can find good stuff on occasion. . The 'Mart pretty much comes strong all the time -- pretty sure that's where Geese gets all his Vinny Vines.

-Gd it. Thought I'd treat myself to a Starbucks latte this morning for the first time in months. "What's this? Almond milk is an option now? I've heard a lot about it. Sure, why don't you use almond milk. Thanks!" [sick] WTF is this ****? Ruined a perfectly good latte. Seeing as how it cost me $4.65, though, I've got to drink the damn thing. Plus I need the caffeine. Milk comes from cows and goats, not nuts (don't do it, Doc).

-Watched the first episode of "Westworld" and couldn't get into it. Seems like something I would like, though, so might have to give it one more chance. Ed Harris is fantastic in almost everything, so maybe I just wasn't in the mood or something.

-Rockstar Games tweeted a picture yesterday that seemed to hint at a "Red Dead Redemption" sequel. If that happens, I WILL play that game from start to finish, with no breaks. Strap on the Depends and leave the door unlocked for the pizza guy. Maybe the best game I've ever played.

-Don't badmouth L'Occitane UKO, you sonofabitch.

-Salmon, when it's good, is very good (grilled on a cedar plank); when it's bad, though, it's awful (smoked or pickled). Sort of the 1990's Rose McGowan of fish.

As I was speaking to a group of 70 financial advisors last Friday in our nations capital, situated in an area where 5 of the 10 wealthiest counties in America are located, I paused and thought to myself, "self, one day when you shave that beard of yours you'll be taken seriously and contribute to society."

Maybe you guys need a new CRE broker. :grimace:

Hope things are okay otherwise...

-If Stoops wins 6-7 and then gives us the middle finger on the way out this is the one I'll give him right back --> [thumb2]. I mean, that would be fine by me. Regardless, he's not going anywhere. Fat contract. Everyone back next year. Facilities in place. The reality is that if he wins 6-7 then he's in pretty good shape for the foreseeable future.

-Had never even heard of the phrase "existential crisis" until someone mentioned it to me a few weeks ago. Naturally, I read up about it and now every so often I wake up in the middle of the night in a damn state of panic (i.e. 4:06 am posts). WTF.

-Didn't share this, but a little over a month ago we woke up to a GD bat hanging out in our foyer. Lass and daughter go through a series of rabies vaccinations as is recommended by the BOH. I passed on those, of course. Roll the dice ATKOT.

I had chosen to believe that this was a one time occurrence, then last night I get up off the couch and catch a brown little ball hanging in the same foyer out of the corner of my eye... I mean, mothertoucher.

Grabbed a broom, opened the front door... I get it flying and it rolls into my living room. I swat the little bastard and it lands on my couch. It was stunned, so I threw a towel over it and carried it outside. Threw the pad on the street and it takes off.

Just called Animal Ridder to come inspect the house. Son of a *****. I hate bats. Right up there with snakes.

-Anyone else pulling the Double this Saturday? [cheers]

Mags hinting that Katina has a WHOLE LOT more to say and is waiting for the NCAA allegations to drop is making me giddy.

Oh we were just fine. Top notch security team out front had it under control. Also, he had no attention of bothering anyone but the ***** who stole his money. She was found hiding in between cars just down by the Korean restaurant waiting for a cab.

The beard is nice in phases but keeping it trimmed and neat was a bigger pain in the *** to me than clean shaven.

-SAE, if by double, you mean fancy black tie wedding straight to Commonwealth, then yes.

-Little G man was up again last night at 1a.m. I think it was just leftover from the vaccinations yesterday, but goodness. How did I function like this for 6 months before he started sleeping?

-Beards. Meh. Clean it up, men of the world. Especially the Duck Dynasty looking ones.

-wcc, congrats on the new gig. You're growing up right before our very eyes. I cannot believe you don't like Bruno Mars though. I think he produces good, catchy music that is much better than most of the crap Anth forces me to listen to on pop radio.

-Jersey Girl is supposedly coming to town this weekend. It will be good to finally see her in the Bluegrass again.

-And I really think you all should be nice to abh. He is clearly trying to be an upstanding citizen and I fully support it.

-Speaking of degenerate gamblers, I am pretty sure anths735 has turned into one. It used to be a joint account with a $5 bet here and there to "keep things interesting". Now he walks around with his head stuck in his phone making bets all weekend and waking up on Sunday "not down that much". Thanks, Adrian.
