That stat on the US only having small percentage of the world population, but a big percentage of the world prison population is deeply flawed.

Most of the world is a roiling ******** with billions of people whose countries can't afford to imprison their billions of criminals. And sometimes they just flat out murder them instead.

Our higher standard of living includes locking up offenders.

It is only going to get worse as more poor American kids are made with less need for them to exist. We don't need to pay for lots of healthy, educated "bodies," to wage our wars anymore, that time is over.

What I'm saying is we should start paying people to not have kids. And we should be happy to cut the check.

That's false because we need babies. We are short on babies. We are having less babies and producing a higher % of **** heads. Less people, higher prison populations. Seems like we're ruining out of prison space, and private prisons are going away, coupled with declining police force, you get closer to 3rd world **** hole that can't afford to police criminals.

Exactly. We need even less babies to start with.

I would also like to see a dedicated lane for heroin drivers (and their families) to really go at it demolition derby style. No Jersey barriers - too forgiving - just plumb walls.

Obviously if you have Destin money, I'm not talking about your babies, "Speedway Lunch."

The lass has been clamoring to see the Girl Ghostbusters, and as I expected, it was turrible. Stop remaking old classics Hollywood...

Saw the first two episodes of Berlin Station. Pretty good, if you like spy stuff.

My bad for being dumb about this, but what all have the '96 guys been up in arms about?

If it's the fact that our coach has blown a few games on big stages that the team had no business losing...I mean yeah. Totally get that. But there has to be something more specifically to it than that, right?

Like Pitino or any other coach hasn't blown big games before. It happens to every coach.

Positive Randos:

-So we can kind of pencil in Young, Washington and Richards to the class it seems like. Need to fill it our with Knox/Diallo and Petty. Good mix of upper end talent and a couple guys that are multi year.

-Love Gabriel's motor but he starts that shot WAY too low.

-If I'm picking an unexpected returner for next year... gimme Fox. An unexpected leaver... SKJ(sorry haven't got the spelling down yet).

-Gridiron Cats(also the name of a horse that lost miserably on Friday) changing my prediction a little. I think we break through and get 6 wins and I think Johnson has a respectable finish throwing the ball so they can red-shirt Barker.

-13th was really good, but yeah, obviously they are pretty selective in using the facts to paint their picture.

-Shew, 87 today. :sunglasses:

-Congrats on the new job WCC!!

-SAE and BBdk, I'd gladly meet you all for a beer. Rob, go climb a ladder.

-I ain't gots no beefs with Bruno. Songs get worn out but they're upbeat and unique. Talented dude.

You know the former player I was extremely happy to see at BBM?

Todd Svoboda. Dude almost died, beat cancer, looked great.

When those '93 guys started coming out...

Dale Brown (Oh man!)
Rodney Dent (OH MAN!)

Tuesday Randoms:

- Hmm, UK coaches in touch with Billy Preston again. Kid is a monster talent, now at Oak Hill and will be a spring commit. Imagine Cal just wants to keep tabs on him and see what kind of shape he'll be in eligibilitywise late in the game depending on who we have at that point.

- Beard guys- what beard oil do you use and/or what is some advice? I'm going in this year...at least for a month.

- I'm not a big Halloween/Christmas decorations guy myself, but I'm glad others are.

- Am I going to have to root for Cleveland to win a championship TWICE in one year? F'ing Cleveland?

- Not going to have to suit up but will have to wear a shirt and tie at the new gig. TJ Maxx still the best place to go for dress shirts and that sort of thing?

- How's Westworld so far? I have all the eps sitting in my DVR.

- Get to show the lass's two bestfriends from high school around this weekend. They're in town from NYC. Excited to meet them, but will be ditching them for the UK game Saturday night. @assistbyhawkins you have plans for the game?

So CMS is still getting mean calls from fans...I mean, after the Southern Miss loss sure, but he's actually doing fairly well now all things considered. The game this week is huge. Would be the most Kentucky football thing ever for him to have a breakout year, then leave with both middle fingers in the air.

Will be joining the beard gang again this year, just waiting for it to get cold.

I always have appreciation for those basketball teams built around one superstar with everyone else playing their roles off that guy. UK '93, UMass '96, UConn '11, etc.

-Basically all my non-specific shopping is done online. Amazon, ruelala, gilt, zappos. Gilt actually has a pretty solid sale right now on work styles with Sacs/Brooks Brother stuff in the $30-50 range. So you don't have to leave your house to go sort through clothing that has likely been puked on by a 2 year old.

-Billy Preston is an amazing google image search.

People have selective memories when it comes to Pitino. Unreal coach obviously but he lost his fair share of big ones when UK was rolling.

Elite 8 vs UNC in 95. His butt hole was wound up so tight for that one. Rubbed off on the players. Abysmal shooting night for the whole team and kept letting Rhodes bomb 3's. My dad and I went to that game and we somehow picked up the 840 am pregame hanging out in the hotel in Birmingham. Macy was doing color and he said Pitino seemed too high strung in the pregame and was worried about his mood affecting the players.

How about in the Final Four 97 when we were down to a 6-7 man rotation and he kept the team up way too late on Sunday night going through intense "walk throughs" in the hotel ballroom and then insisting on pressing Miles and Bibby?

Final Four vs Michigan in 93... Again, came out tight after looking invincible leading up to that game. Albeit that was a bad matchup for UK.

We didn't have the personal to press Simon and Bibby for sure. It got us into serious foul trouble we could not afford. The possession Arizona scored before the Epps bomb to send it to OT Bibby was being guarded on the perimeter by Padgett who got blown by with ease. Just a poorly managed game. And Miles Simon smug face

WTF is this? I've had a beard for 8 years and never once thought to myself, "self, you know what would make this facial hair really pop? Some lavender and menthol lubrication.

Get it together, wcc.

- Westworld is worth the watch. I mean, if you like android orgy sex mixed in with the occasional scalping and rape.

- Anyone who watches Wednesday's debate after seeing how the last two unraveled should forfeit their right to vote. It's gone well past OMG DID HE/SHE JUST SAY THAT to vomit inducing saddness for our future.

- Cold smoked salmon is my new go-to breakfast meat.

- Von Maur for all my suits and dress clothes.

- Been chatting with this smokeshow blonde at Milestone as we're getting in laps for the last few weeks. Stacked. Fit. Middle class. Just have to tweak my workout game to account for being underwater most of the time.

Not trying to make anything pop- trying to make it less itchy. I have no experience here but have heard beard oil does just that.

SERIOUS REPLIES ONLY PLEASE!!!1!

Bear oil isn't needed if you keep it trimmed, put some conditioner on it when you shower and it'll be fine. (assuming you're not going full lumberjack)

I guess I'm going to put my iMac out on the back patio and watch the game while drinking multiple collides and eating wings next to a roaring blaze in my fire pit. Thanks for asking.

And before you make any smartass comments, BBdK, you can roast yourself in that roaring blaze in my fire pit. (If you weren't going to make a smartass comment, I apologize and you can forget RYITRBIMFP, because sometimes I like you best of all)

* I got no beefs with Bruno. Uptown will funk you up.

* Big 12. smh

* You still working downtown, Chadwick?

* Todd Svoboda was a poor man's Mark Pope. Loved him. Can't remember if that 3 was in the FSU or Wake NCAAT blowouts, but it was magical.

* My beard is now waaaaay too white. Can't grow it out without putting on a red suit and ringing a bell in front of the Kroger(s).

* Of all the sports venues/teams I do work with tOSU and Michigan are the hardest to work with. tOSU won't let you advertise any offers and claim its a state law (apparently the Indians, Cavs, UC, XU, Ohio U, Reds, Bengals, Blue Jackets and FC Cincinnati don't know about that law) and Michigan won't let us use the color red because they are so obsessed with tOSU. Umm, we're Toyota. Red is our color. We actually aren't doing anymore LED signage with them.

* Michigan Fan's obsession with Harbaugh has passed our love for Cal. It's entering the downright weird territory.

- Well, if you feel like rolling down toward the river for the game, holla. Would love to see you obviously.

- I'll be out toward the airport. Going to miss working downtown fo'sho, but it will be nice not having to pay $85/month for parking.

- Was against FSU.

Smoke the salmon yourself Bonz, cold or hot -- I do one almost every Sunday for the lass. Ish is great for Dinner, Salads, or whatever.

She smashes it on toasted Pita w/ Avocado as her lunch staple...pretty wodie little concoction.

Never been a traditional Lox Breakfast guy though.
