It was a busy weekend, but I've never heard someone complain so much about "having" to go to the corporate suites and Keeneland Clubhouse 2 days in a row, hang out with Wildcat Friends, old Nashville friends and a tasty Sunday brunch with said friends and randomly, Quito Gato too.

By the time he is my age, he will probably be a complete recluse. You are always welcome at my table though, WS. Just take an Uber and be home before 3am.

The Bourbon Chase basically shut down downtown Versailles on Saturday morning. Awful.

Headed out to a 2YO birthday party out Old Frankfort Pike Saturday AM and almost killed a couple dopes running towards me. No warning, no real signs, nothing. Just boop - HERE I AM. One car did flash their lights so that helped, I guess. The family's house is right behind Rachel's Kitchen, which apparently was relay/changeover hub so these gafs start overflow parking their tricked out TEAM SPIRIT!! vans all up in their yard

I asked the 'parking attendant' how many vans he was planning on putting in the yard. AS MANY AS I NEED BRO. Oh? You know this is private property right? Did you get the OK from the owners to put all these vehicles here? OHH MY BAD I DIDN'T KNOW.

Also, a lot of the runners ready awaiting their relay felt the need to jog up and down their driveway to 'warm up' and some even relieved themselves behind a large wood pile on the side of their home.

Good stuff. Good stuff.

[laughing] UNC added their THIRD 3-star recruit (out of 4 players) to their '17 recruiting class, as Roy continues his transformation into Tubby.

Funny thing is the all-too-familiar rationalizations from their fanbase.

"Well, he was hurt so his stock went down."
"He didn't play AAU ball because he wanted to concentrate on his grades, so scouts didn't see him."
"He's a late bloomer and will probably be Top 75 soon!"
"If he's good enough for Roy, he's good enough for me."
"I don't want UNC to become a OAD factory, so I like these 3-4 year guys."

-Parents loosened up on MCF a bit after us, mainly because they knew his *** would be home by 10-11pm at the latest.

-Yeah the father soon combo is very disturbing if that's the killers.

-I just don't really care for Keeneland on Saturdays, especially when I was there the day before. It was fine but would've much rather been posted up at the homestead watching CFB. 1 Friday per meet is plenty for me. Don't care for going to BBM. Not going reclusive but all that piled into 48 hours was a bit much, especially after a sleepless week with a really sick 1 year old.

-Would love to get back to running. F*cking back and leg. Also, f*ck the bourbon chase and their dumb entry process.

Can't believe Trust is still open, tbh.

Assume "they" have taken over, or did after the first few weeks?

Destin Snack down:
Sunday night: the back porch. The capital of Destin restaurants. Crab cake sandwich and a landshark. Side of fries, slaw and a hushpuppy.
Monday: I ate ice cream for dinner
Tuesday: cooked hotdogs and hamburgers on the grill. Couple of the burgers were a little rare when I finished so I put them in the oven at 350 for about 10m.
Wednesday: Fudpuckers. Fried gator tail. This is actually an appetizer but I always pull some strings and get it for my entree. Side of fries and a coke in a souvenir cup.
Thursday: ordered a pizza and wings from Merlins - not sure what level of schooling the pizza chef had or where he attended pizza school but my man graduated top of his class. No doubt. What a pizza
Friday: pepito's. This is a Mexican restaurant.

The lack of alcohol cited in your post is damn embarrassing.

Learn vacationing with the family.

A friend of my wifes is back in town for the week- staying with us, along with her 4 month old little girl... All good with me- I welcome all visitors. The only noticeable thing that made me raise a brow was looking at how much **** you have to travel with when you have a small kid. Goodness. I mean I knew you had to pack all that stuff, but actually seeing it loaded into a car, just for this one little 9 pound person is pretty crazy.

Broke down and went to an actual doctors office last week fo rthe first time in years. I really hate going- sitting in the waiting room with a bunch of sicko's while youre not feeling well yourself is pretty terrible. We are fortunate to have a faculty only clinic on campus so youre in and out in no time. Need to be a lot better about making routine appointments/visits to the doctor.

Its not completely ridiculous to think we could beat all 3 of our next opponents- which after week 2 wouldve been a laughable talking point. Granted a lot of the optimism stems from how bad the other SEC teams are playing, and complain all we want but the teams improved throughout the year, and done so battling injuries and obvious weaknesses on both side of the ball. Guess all im saying is that it could be much worse.*NOT PREDICTING WE GO 3-0 GUYS IM JUST SAYING*

Have a problem with a family of squirrels in the attic. The guy who showed up to get rid of them just had the *look* of a squirrel guy. So I trust this man completely. Name on his shirt said "Will" but he was quick to let me know he goes by "Chopper" or "Chop". Doesnt need to be said, but he works alone.

Gameday in Tuscaloosa this weekend. With some doomsday scenarios still looming for Louisville backdooring their way into the playoff- the rest of the world needs to be ALL IN on Alabama or A&M/Clemson/Wash/OSU or Michigan. We've seen these things get hectic in the closing weeks gang and we cant take any chances.

Kershaw. Yikes.

Sorry - I made a few daily trips to the resorts beach bar and got the margarita on the rocks with salt and another blue beach inspired mixed drink. Always took the kids with me so they could see how a man drinks alcohol. Got them virgin daiquiri's. Mixed berry. Also, taking my daughter always resulted in extry cherries in their drinks. Also - drank a 12 pack of landshark lager. It's a local craft brewery that specializes in gulf coast living

Considering where this thing was 30 days ago I'm jacked about Saturday.

October night game, fall weather, CHAINCE to beat a SEC West opponent at home, & potentially my last big day/night before the little lady arrives in a few weeks.

Gonna show out hard, frankly, & I expect all wildcat friends and the rest of BBN to do the same.

Feel bad because I like the owners, but I refuse to go in there.

Isn't like this is the first, second, or even third shooting there.

-Wife was invited to the Trust party by one of her coworkers who slept with most of that team when they were in college and gets booty calls everytime those guys are in town. Said coworker warned her it was going to be a "dark party." "You mean the lighting is low?" "No, honey." She quickly declined anyway.

-Hate hanging pictures. Have had them propped on the walls for 2 months and the onslaught of Wisky company coming to visit next week means I have to hang them all this week. Strongly considering researching if you can pay someone for that.

-Met my massive healthcare deductible with my little heart episode/workup so am trying to cram in every appointment possible in the next few weeks. Bad knee, celiac, and kidney stones (undiagnosed but 90% sure) FTL. HATE going to the doctor.

It's actually pretty routine for me to put on soft core pron when I'm working from home. I mean, you can only watch Sportscenter so many times, and something easy to have on in the background is a plus. Marcus welby soft core pron. Thanks, HBO.

-Yes, failed stand-up comedian. It's okay, you miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take, etc. etc. I came to grips with that failure a long, long time ago. Failing was worth it, since it meant I got to live in L.A. for a while, make some life-long friends, and experience rejection from the 50 percent of female Los Angelenos that '73 didn't have biblical relations with.

But yeah, I really, really sucked at it, in hindsight.

-Actually thought Bourbon Chase traffic was much more manageable in Versailles this time around. Last year, I sat for a good 30 minutes just waiting to park for my daughter's CC meet. This year, took maybe five. Sorry Booker....learn Woodford County traffic patterns, I guess.

-My other daughter also made her goalie debut yesterday. I missed much of the game b/c of something with my oldest, but as we pulled up, I saw her dive on a ball. She gave up three in the time I saw, but stopped probably five. Weird to see your typically-passive child be so aggressive out on the playing field/court. I hate soccer and still prefer that she had just quit the team during the game, but it still made me proud to see her get after it like that.

-Cousins from South Carolina stayed at the house this weekend. Huge baseball(Cubs) and college football fans. Seeing how I'm the only one under my roof who cares about sports, it was nice to be surrounded by others who were excited to watch games. Also nice to see how excited they were about stuff we take for granted...not just Keeneland, but visiting the farms/distilleries/etc.

-Eff you Chad.

When someone says "biblical relations" I assume they mean some form of enslavement, even though in my heart of hearts I know they mean doin' it.

Just an FYI I'm picking up some very faint signals from the universe about that Thanksgiving Governor's Cup, gang. I mean, FAINT signals but sports are funny and man there is a LOT of hubris on Floyd Street right now.

Zero way UK wins this weekend. This happens every single year where we have an opportunity for something good to happen for the program and it gets squandered. Well, save the years that we make zero bones about it and suck for the get-go.

We could win when you look at it from the perspective of making that sillyass Southern Miss loss hurt even more because we really could have had a great season.

Yep. We'll get down 14-0 in the first half after a couple turnovers, cut it to 17-13 late in the 3rd quarter, and will lose 24-20 when Johnson is picked off in the endzone on 4th and goal from the 7 with 38 seconds remaining.

Seen it a million times.

Any updates/scuttle on Barker? He for sure done this year...b/c Johnson isn't going to make it the duration imo.

Still think we'd be even better with a much better chance of pulling a few upsets had he been healthy with a chance to get reps/improve over the season, and I don't think it's close.
