The only problem with Dave Matthews dying is the onslaught of Dave Matthews videos and fake anecdotes.

*28 minute live version of Proudest Monkey*
"Counting Crows were asked what it's like to be the biggest dickheads on Earth. They said, "I don't know, go ask DMB." #shocked #RIPDave

Hopefully he just stays alive and out hearing distance for eternity

I saw Prince live in Atlanta. His drummer was a fat black guy with a shaved head, other than the 3 foot long Jedi braid, who had the fastest hands I've ever seen. He was like Pistol Pete on pharmaceutical grade meth.

Prince had an acoustical set where he played guitar while sitting in some contraption that he could control with his feet while playing guitar so he could pivot to different parts of the audience.

He also made multiple shout-outs to all of his "Georgia Peaches."

These things happened.

Favorite Prince song- Seven

The only musician death that really shook me and even brought me to tears was Aaliyah. To each their own.

Don't give an F about anything Tiger.

Game of Thrones only 2 days away. Finally!

I'll be sad when Elton John passes away. He's awesome, despite his love for penis.

In 5 seasons of Game of Thrones, has there ever been a single episode where they just kinda mailed it in? Stretched out some bs plot? Focused on character development?

No.and that's why that show is so badass.

Touch Bran, touch every scene with him in the first 4 seasons, touch whatever nonsense he does this season, touch every chapter in 4 of the 5 books he drags down.

Touch whatever happens to Daeny in that city in the East. In the book that is insufferable.

Thankfully the show guys are much better than Martin and got Tyrion down there in a hurry to make it enjoyable.

He should have just stuck with the five year gap. Structured it like Star Wars. Two independent trilogies in the same universe with the "good" guys ultimately triumphing in the third volume of the second trilogy.

What are the odds that Winds of Winter is ever published? 35%

A Dream of Spring is a myth. Will never happen.

Winds will happen. Probably in the next 12-18 months. I have absolutely no hope for ADOS.

Man, might not be coming home.

PB Shore Club last night. Dear Lord. Lassies everywhere, DJ bumping Nelly, Ja Rule, and the like all night. Bachelorette parties rolling deep. Shew.

Ha, just realized it is at the outlets. I'm here with my wife getting some shorts and whatnot. I noticed a lot of BJW's in their wildcat gear but just chalked it up to Shelbyvillians.

I'd like an autograph but I'm not waiting in that line.

tommy,

Bit more info from a couple of your fellow Nebraskans who are Fonner regulars:

-We have 2 barns now quarantined with the herpes virus. Will probably kill the last 2 weekends at my home track seriously impacting the Bosselman-Gus Fonner Handicap on closing weekend.

-If I had to guess, someone didn't follow protocol with a horse/horses shipping from Arizona. Sucks.
