Nobody in GYERO cherry-picks facts or statistics to support his argument better than '73. And there's some damn good people at that in this bunch. But '73 is the best. Or maybe he just does it the most. I don't know. I think what I'm getting at is '73 sucks.

The thing that most annoys me is that he knows he's forwarding halftruths and ********. And not only is he aware of that, he's also aware that he's not fooling anyone here. We all know UK basketball. So, he's either psychotic or just annoying us to be annoying.

Ways to crush lobbying:

- Having my petition team CRUSH their daily numbers.

- Not taking nights off and scheduling meetings every night. Even if you think it's a lost cause.

- Traveling 5 hours each direction to speak to three dozen people at a gun show in the middle of nowhere.

- Living with daily hangovers.

- Doing homework and knowing who wants to hear what.

- Studying the opposition groups and doing studies to counter their claims.

- Pretending that democracy is all about the people!

In his soul, even though he doesn't practice, 73 is a lawyer. Maybe more than any of us.

Ulis should've been in that game in crunchtime (along with the Harrisons, Towns and probably WCS). We should've shot more 3s. We shouldn't have dicked around so much in crunchtime.

Besides that, I don't have many problems with Cal's coaching in that game. We were up 5. They got the benefit of a HUGE blown call. And Dekker hit his shot, Aaron did not.

The final score makes it look like Wisconsin won comfortably. Nope.

In the Wisconsin loss, we only shot 5 threes.

In the Indiana loss, we only shot 1 three in the first 19:55 of the game and oh yeah, our frontcourt SUCKED.

I get not wanting to shoot your way out of the NCAA Tournament (e.g., 1995 and 2010) but loosen up your butthole, John.

I never understand when we clearly have one of those monster-teams why we don't push a ridiculous pace. Why grind? In theory, if you have the better team, you always want more overall possessions. More possessions equal a greater sample size where your advantages in offensive and defensive efficiency can bear out, and less possibility for a fluke. You don't have to run some VMI offense ********, but push the hell out of it and play more basketball if you believe you have the better team. Cal seems to think once he gets to the tournament that he's more likely to win if he tries to win by 12 than if he tries to win by 40.

This is the biggest complaint. No reason a team featuring four good-to-great shooters shouldn't have shot more 3s.

We peaked in Late December due to the Bahamas trip and that trip also spawned the platoon system. So I hope you high rollers had fun on that trip.

I remember earlier in the year like February they showed a graphic if how good Kentucky is during winning time that year and the only team that was more efficient was Wisconsin DOH.

I came away most mad at WCS for completely disappearing during the biggest game of the year and the refs. That shot clock call was atrocious and gave Wisconsin who was on the ropes new life. That and UK has just played its best defensive possession of the game to get it to that point. Man EFF that ****.

The main reason why I never bought the argument that shortening the shot clock would harm college offenses is that 99% of college coaches waste half of a possession before running anything that could lead to a shot. We're as guilty of it as anyone.

I just wish John would go ahead and address the white boy on the team so I can get on with my life. I just don't see him playing Derek next year because he sure as hell won't have to. Just break my heart now. I don't want to think about it any longer.

Willis was the best shooter from 3 percentage wise on last years team and shoots it great from the line. And he will be a senior, so he better find some pretty big minutes, and i think he will. We have to have his shooting to be at our best, imo.

As long as Willis puts Yu-Gi-Oh aside every now and then to at least pretend to focus on defense in practice, he will get plenty of minutes. He will be deadly off drive and kicks from Briscoe/Monk/Fox. I really don't see any way that he rides the pine next year, honestly.

Friend of mine and her husband went last fall. She said she wouldn't recommend it. Said it was ok but she prefer Iberostar as far as the value of the offering.

Liggins was a pg who played the 3 because he couldn't shoot and UK always had better options at the 1 and 2. He's taller than Briscoe, yes but briscoe is stronger and probably more athletic. And it's not like he's small or anything. I think he would best served in a similar role. Let Fox create offensively and run the plays.
Liggins never had the type of ball handling and vision Briscoe has.

Compulsory post, because it's still stuck in my craw:

With ~5 minutes left, Kaminsky goes to the line. All of the UW players are tugging their shorts. They're obviously worn out. Kaminsky short-arms the free-throw. I turn to atlantahappycat and say, they're exhausted, they're toast, we win.

Usually it only took 25-30 minutes for us to wear teams down. UW hung in there, but they finally hit the wall at 35 minutes. But instead of hitting the accelerator and finishing it at that point (in fact, only one more made FG might have been the dagger), we hold up and let them catch their breath.

I Guaran-F'ing-Tee if Tyler Ulis is in that ballgame, we do not get 3 straight shot-clock violations.

Last year was the reverse of 2012 for me. 40-0 just seemed too good to be true. I thought Arizona would be the ones to take us out, as they matched up well with us. Even though I wasn't convinced we'd win it, that loss has lingered because if not with that team, then when?

Like Geese said, I never could lock in on this year's team after last year's letdown. I enjoyed watching Ulis, Murray and Willis, but it's like this was somewhat of a lost season for me.

And I totally get why it's being rehashed now, 1 year later. We all - or at least I - needed to get through this season to finally turn the page on last season.

Now, bring in BMF and the rest of the Monstars, and let's get to work on 9.

The General is our point guard unless he pulls a Skal, Briscoe will fill in and continue his role.

Hey Booker, im sorry i didn't put you and your cleats on the sidelines to win it all last year. I mulled over it for awhile and figured you would have cost us the win by calling a ref a **********. It was nothing personal.

Big fan of the Melia resorts Cback. Might be worth a look.

So after listening to the entire second season of Serial 2, I don't feel any different than I did before.

1. He walked off his post. Shame on him. Sarah tries to blame the Army for letting him in after he was discharged for psychiatric reasons from the Coast Guard.

2. People were killed looking for him. I guess this was her "conspiracy theory" for the season. The director of Army intelligence in Afghanistan at the time and several soldiers in his unit say yes. Whether or not the official tasking of missions were directed at looking for one deserter, it diverted resources and people were killed in operations. So get pumped Sarah.

3. He was held captive for 5 years...boo hoo, karma is a *****.

people talking themselves into Willis playing major minutes & getting tons of shots next season are almost as delusional and divorced from reality as UK football fan annual 7-5/8-4 prediction

HOFCJVJ will play guys who are more athletic, better rebounders, better defenders all the time. And treat the 3 point shot as an annoyance, a bother, a distraction. Always has, always will.

I worked in politics, campaigns, for a legislator, etc years ago. I've been around lobbyist enough to know that's its a very competitive, dirty game, with lots of talented veterans, and lots of money. If some 25 year old substitute teacher that wears a cape thinks he is making a difference in his first month, well bless your heart I guess.
