I would be terribly disappointed if Ulis doesn't win SEC POY. Would be equally disappointed if we don't win the regular season title. If Poy is out a few more weeks I think it is ours to lose.

Love pulled pork but not at the expense of a badass patio bar. Harry's was my go to on Sunday's before leaving town in the fall and always liked hitting up the patio post Keeneland for drinks & food off of the Sal's menu.

The vast majority of people, see the people in this thread defending Malones and Merrick, like crap food. Use crap cheap ingredients with an attractive brand and good service and profit. While most places that have good food and really try but can't run a business. True story. The BHG guys are fantastic at what they do. No doubt.
I think their "reasoning" is that they saw Blue Door, Red State, etc. killing it financially and thought, "Hey, we need a piece of that action." Not sure it went beyond that.
There's a Drake's in Florence (1) that shares the same development as the Super Wal-Mart (2) and parking spaces with The Kentucky Shop (3).

Maybe. Maybe not. My cousin was Sal's head chef for a few years & now he's in Quality Control for BHG as a whole where he helps get the new Drake's stores up & running. ( Yes, I know their quality has gone down hill but his hands are somewhat tied as that whole deal has become more & more corporate & all about the bottom line).
Anyways, a couple of years ago he put me in touch with those dudes regarding something banking related. Didn't get the business but had a few conversations with the decision makers. The amount of detailed data they have on hand regarding what works & what doesn't work in certain areas for specific reasons was mind boggling. At the time they knew that the lease where 60 West was & Boombozz is now was coming up. Told them a Malone's in St Matthew's next to Drake's would crush and they both looked at me like I had antlers coming out of my ears.

* Also, I'm out on the SECT because I'm tired of Nashville. That weekend is one of the only opps I have for a short spring vacation so I'm going to Vegas. Easy call. May even slide over to the MGM and try to catch a Pac12 tourney game.
* Still need a big to be consistent for us if we are going to make any run. As fun as any team in the Cal era to watch when they are clicking. Having two players in Ulis and Murray that can hit those mid-range jumpers is about the most valuable commodity in CBB anymore. Not sure how far we can go w/o any kind of post consistency, but you really only need one of Alex, Lee or Skal to just show up from night to night. Just anyone to complement Willis or our guards on the glass and provide some semblance of D.
* It is just awkward watching Skal. Dude tries hard but is so horribly out of place at ALL times. Whoever that jackass handler was that created the fake school for him should be beaten mercilessly as he has played about as much organized basketball as I have. He should have spent last year at Oak Hill or maybe the local Y trying to actually have a damn clue what goes on in an actual game. I'm not sure it could have hurt his draft stock any worse than the **** show he has put on this season.
* Going out to dinner on a Valentine's weekend is a damn joke. Against my better judgment I was persuaded to since my wife likes to do things that she knows will annoy the ever loving **** out of me. That said, I could have really done without getting mocked by a damn Porcini's hostess for asking if my 8:30pm reservation was ready after waiting for an hour. Good news is I got wine drunk from an hour and of a half of waiting at the bar (since leaving was non-negotiable, apparently) and my Lyft driver on the way home was giving out free candy.
