Mt Washington Derek needs some new material. You can only work in Mt Dew, Auto Trader, and Speedway so much until it gets old.

Start asking for pick 3 advice, send out a tweet asking people to hook you up with a blue and white Rooster Run General Store hat. There is a whole treasure trove of white trash culture to mine.

Poythressthedude needs more attention. Really liked his squirt to the ceiling tweet

I have roots in Meade Co. so I'm well aware of other aspects of white trash culture we could delve into and I agree. Only thing is I've tried to incorporate different things (demolition derby etc) before and the tweets just don't hit.

Anth, honest question. Friends going to Kilimanjaro and want to know how many days they need to set aside for that.

As HC costs spiral out of control, I'm sure the lower paid employees will be the ones they ax when the cuts are made. Welp, Google can read all the X-rays. And Medicare just cut payouts again. Should we cut the $25 an hour tech who hasn't taken a sick day in 2 years or the mid-6 figure guy who has been in New Orleans, Vegas, and Florida for 15 of the 30 working days this year?

Two completely different jobs. The techs acquire the images, and the doc interprets.

In the trend for lower cost healthcare, physician extenders-(PA's, Nurse practioners) are taking a bigger role in primary care. Which subsequently increases the need and demand for specialsts.

And let's be honest, I don't think you can really count Florida. It was a connecting flight, never left the airport.

maybe mention Willis getting a haircut at great clips. Checking in online so he doesn't have to wait for the high and tight. He probably could also vape. How does Willis feel about redbox? He loves it. The expendables 4 was in stock. Hell yeah. Derek Willis is #teamMiranda, because she's a goddess

I figure they are but they have limited time in Africa and want to know how long that hike takes.
I mean, it's not exactly a hike. I think there are 5 day routes that have pretty low success rates (40%). We were on a 7 or 8 day route which ups your rate to 90%+.

A few guys were on a similar time line as us and hired guides at the base. They made it on the long trip but they weren't real happy. One had some rough altitude issues and his guide was basically worthless. Our guide had to help.

I'd be happy to email with them.

It's more money but you are on the side of a massive mountain in Africa. Not some where you want to f*ck around. If god forbid something happens you're a day and half healthy hike off the mountain in most places.

We did a 14 day trip and it was like 5k. That covered everything but but flight. Food, hotel, transportation, 5 day safari all included. That was the most expensive agency we found as well.

Cracks me up how over the past few months everyone has become a "lifelong" Chris Stapleton fan.

Actually saw one guy claim to be a huge country music hipster because he's liked Stapleton for so long, and then had no clue who Sturgill Simpson or Jason Isbell was. I don't really like "real" or fake country music all that much and I know those 2.

Don't know if you saw this already, Adrian but Jay Electronica dropped a new track today. Most under appreciated dude in the game imo

He's unreal, too bad he's too scared to actually put out anything other than little movie score interludes & 1 random verse per year -- certainly not an album.

...and LOL at him going at Kendrick on a night when he's breaking Grammy recods. K, that's a little desperate -- talking nonsense.

-TLOP = trash, btw.

-Yeah, don't understand why anyone would go at Kendrick at this point. The dude will rip you to shreds if you do, smart on Drake's part to stay away from him.

-Wish Black Hippie would release an album, **** would kill TS.

-Decided not to even listen to TLOP because I knew it would be awful, even though No More Parties in LA is :fire::fire::fire:. Don't know why Kanye has to go crazy/weird with production now when he's already a legendary MC.

TLOP is straight fire for the most part. Don't know how you can like Kanye and not jam out to songs like Fade, Real Friends, or Famous. Production is on another level (lyrically meh in spots tho). The dude probably has legit mental health issues but g'd he's the best at what he does. Fun album. Stop hating on my best friend you guys.

How much longer will the "Little General" be on the sidelines at OSU? Not that they should have any reason to be in the picture to win it all every year but Trav just can't seem to get them past middle of the pack and he's had plenty of time.

Might be a job opening in his home state soon. Maybe he'll apply. [devil]

Is Lyft more accessible in Lexington? I use Uber all the time when I'm traveling on business in the US. It's easier, quicker, and cleaner than the taxis in big cities. That said, it seems to be harder to get an Uber driver in Lexington.

Damn taxi drivers in Paris two weeks ago went on strike and blocked the highway to the airport out of protest over Uber. Cost 113 Euro to get to the airport that morning with no traffic except these jerks vs the 70 it cost me when I landed during busy evening traffic. I'm pretty sure the taxi driver I had that morning organized the damn thing as I got a 30-minute diatribe about the evils of Uber on the way to the airport.

Remember when Floyd Street used to control their message and count on the local media hacks to sing the same tune? Yeah, me too....

...now you've got this committee member running to Pitino's press secretary Crawford saying the post-season ban was all Ramsey and no one was consulted prior to issuing said penalty. o_O

So lets see, first they say it was Ramsey's decision. The whole town grabs their pitch forks and axes and sets out to crucify the President (who does sorta resemble a tall goofy Frankenstein monster). Pitino and Tomma devise a plan to blame the AD because he's a demigod to these simpletons.

The media, et al go along with it for a week or so to take the heat off Ramsey and the tide recedes. Then the first time someone shoves a mic in front of a committee member, he reneges, blowing the whole narrative.

It's pretty clear now it's 'every man for himself' over there with the contradictions starting to pile up and both sides distancing themselves from the other, and this thing isn't close to being resolved. Plenty of time for more back-stabbing, cya'ing and complete dump-trucking of careers and reputations [jumpingsmile].

Drivers in Lex are frequently working for both Uber and Lyft, and just respond to whatever is requesting rides. I prefer Lyft myself.

Given all of the concerns around ride sharing, I'm kind of surprised that Uber and Lyft haven't worked in the option for female customers to select a female driver. Given it's a contract service and the rider is making the choice, it would avoid the issues around discrimination in this case. Of course I can only recall having a female driver once with Uber, so it may really limit the drivers available.

That said, I don't get what freaks people out about being attacked using Uber or Lyft vs a taxi. With Uber, I have the info about my driver as does Uber. I can share my info with friends I'm meeting up with. I can see the recommended route. With a taxi, I flag down a car off the street, no one has any idea who really picked me up, nor the idea of which route I'm taking. Not saying that bad things can't happen with ride sharing, but I don't see how it's any less safe than taking a taxi.

I've never felt unsafe in lyft or uber. 99% of the time it has been a very pleasant experience, much nicer ride than a cab, and significantly cheaper. Have noticed that most of the drivers I get are male around here. Have heard stories about people hooking up with their female drivers though...

I prefer Lyft, in part because their surge prices are much less sever than Uber. Think the most I've been hit with on lyft was like 125% and that was on NYE. When I was needing to catch a ride to the airport in New Orleans, some Uber surges were 10x. It was cheaper to take a cab.

- Vinyl was extremely well done by the good folks at Home Box Office. Yes they have gratuitous sex, because HBO. And prolific drug use, because HBO. And a fantastic soundtrack, because duh, the era.

But one scene in particular that likely only CMD and I will appreciate shows how they took great detail in recreating a scene from The Song Remains the Same in which Peter Grant is chastising scalpers for selling counterfeit Zeppelin merchandise. They did about as well as you could at duplicating Plant and Bonhams outfits and look and played off that scene with our protagonist trying to salvage his shot at signing the band.

Also like how they're essentially taking the little blonde pop-tart who is the record labels drug mule and having her discover & create The Sex Pistols.

Not sure if it will be a GYERO favorite because music is the Achilles heel of this thread, but I highly recommend it if for nothing else all the drugs and sex and Olivia Wilde who is holy **** some kind of raven unicorn :fire:.
