Thanks for Cincy game-watching rec, Chad. The lass and I hit up Lachey's in OTR. Cool space. They had the surround sound cued up for the Cats game.

Very good local beer list and great burger. First time seeing that OTR area. Thought it was very cool. Wanted to hit up the Taft Ale House after the game but the lass wanted to rest up at the hotel before the wedding.

My cousin's wedding was at the Bell Center right across from the casina. Hit up Horseshoe after the reception with my sister, bro in law and some cousins. Broke even on Blackjack. There was a great band playing in the bar area. That place is huge and is a lot nicer than what I would've imagined.

Impressive what Cincy has done in the last few years with the Banks, OTR and the casina.

Glad you enjoyed it. The Bell Center is where my sister got married a few years back. Really cool place. Also the lass lives about 4 blocks down the road.

Malones is awful. TS. Tony's has been a pretty good addition. Probably the best nice restaurant in the city. Winchell's breakfast is still the best meal in the city and I don't think it's very close.

- As mentioned, battled food poisoning (or maybe something just didn't agree with my stomach) and realized that I hate the ballet, BUT the Cats are playing good ball so all is well.

- So, the lass decides she wants to cook lamb chops Saturday. Her mom gave us $100 worth of gift cards to Jungle Jims for Christmas so she ordered them from there. Goes to pick them up Saturday and the price is $66, not the $36 she was quoted. She bought 10 LAMBCHOPS. Spent $66 on LAMBCHOPS. WTF? My stomach was a mess all day Saturday so we didn't even make them.

- Nice seeing Marcus Lee break out of his slump. We don't need the guy to be an All-American. We just need him to be the best version of himself and NOT in foul trouble.

Honestly thought Chad might have pulled the trigger on Valentine's Day. Maybe his stomach issues were really just nerves.

Lamb Chops are the ****. I mean, they were "free" -- isn't that the perfect time to splurge & go a little overboard?

Should have added some Lobsta to the cart.

Do we really need 10 of them?

FTR, I've only had lambchops once at a Brazilian steakhouse and thought they were a tad gamey.

Typically a normal order would be 3 chops. Yes, lamb does have a rather particular flavor. People tend to either love it or hate it.

At home usually rub them with Cavender's. Also worship Merrick Inn's. Team mint jelly.

I don't find lamb gamey at all...different strokes I guess.

Cavender's is the best spice blend out there imo, use it on everything -- great on veggies.

Ridiculous take. Your death plague must be talking.

Malone's in Hamburg is usually very good. No complaints there in ages. Not sure what you are wanting calling them awful. Must be the reason they are packed 7 days a week.

Tony's is nice, albeit expensive for what you get.

Jean Farris is always excellent and probably the best in Lex.

I know you hate Merrick, but they are who they are, and evidently they are doing something right all these years. Best fried chicken in town.

Grey Goose and Nick Ryan's are solid.

Wild Eggs ftw on breakfast.

Get well soon.

There are some good restaurants in the city but Malones isn't one of them. Merrick, ok buddy. If you want fried food, it's your spot, if you want good food head elsewhere. Plenty of ****** restaurants are constantly packed. Cheesecake, Applebee's, etc. People, like yourself, need a place to eat as well.

Regardless, I'll gladly stand by Winchell's being the best meal in town.

Last night I got 3 pork chops at my meijer for 3.67. Beat that.

Straight out of Compton **sucked major balls**. Not sure exactly hat I was expecting from the first movie about The West, but I wanted a little more than what appeared to be a made for VH1 corny *** biography that covered decades. Horribly executed piece of ****, and I couldn't believe how bad the casting was. Obvious this was Dre's baby. Hope he's done now.

Where Kanye?

Ha, I've sprained my ankles more times I can count in high tops. Tore my meniscus & PCL at the same time spraining my ankle back in HS. Knee still isn't 100% to this day from it.

For some reason, I play/feel more confident in low tops. Less sprains, TS. Thanks, though.

Not really. They're both terrible. Given each multiple opportunities to redeem themselves. If you're spending Malone's money you are better served at least 10 other places in the city. I do like the Merrick Patio though, probably the best in town. Harry's is the only thing left that brand has and the dummies wiped it out of Landsdowne. Opening that MEATS place was so silly. Literally everyone I've talked to that has eaten there said it was bad and it eliminated the best out door bar in the area.

Malone's used to be good...they still use Prime Beef, right? Don't think I've been in 15 years. Loved their house salad.

2-2 on terrible experiences at Sal's though.

-Curious to see where we jump to in the polls today...I don't pay much attention to those, but I'm tired of being fringe Top 25, I know that. I'll guess 17.t.
14 in the coaches. Sweep this week and we can probably look at top 10 again.

[laughing]

Everybody is so smart these days with Dr Google at their fingertips. And honestly I think its great that people are empowering themselves. But as Anth can attest, a little bit of knowledge can be a frightening thing.

Had a wise mentor once explain to me that a lot of what we do is straightforward. Hell, maybe 90% of the time even a lay person could see the abnormality. But its that 5-10% of cases that nobody else has a clue about, that's where we really earn our money. Experience is a valuable commodity.

Cue Dennis, he's due for a good doctor hating rant.

Pretty excited for when Google/Facebook robots make docs obsolete.

I injured my ankle about 7 years ago playing basketball in some nike shocks and it's legitimately still swollen

Also, related, but I've never been sick in my entire life per Kenzie. Women have NO compassion for their man when he's not feeling his best.

I stopped caring for Malones once they got rid of their crab cake. Now I eat strictly at chain restaurants and Mexican places
