Dear Gyero:

There's an older couple (late 60's) who live a few houses down the back alley from me. They've always been relatively private, never going out of the way to say hello, and frankly the only interaction I've had is the man yelling at me for driving too fast in the alley (I was going about 10 mph).

They have a relatively large dog and every day they walk it off leash to let it piss and **** in the yard of the house behind me (their neighbors yard). I've seen the dog in my yard several times, but when I came home this morning the dog was off leash, two feet away from our vegetable garden with the old bag just standing in the alley letting it do its business in my yard.

I went off on the lady this morning and told her to never have her dog step foot in my yard again. There are like 50 acres of common area within 25 yards of my house, and another area directly in front of her house as well.

I ask you oh wise Gyero, did I handle this situation properly? Or should I have Rogue go strangle her?

Sincerely,

Crazed in the Commons
Always yell at old people if given the opportunity.
They will yell at you if given the same.

First time, a verbal confrontation is warranted.

After that, get a ring cam and share the video of her letting her dog crap on your lawn and her not picking it up on the ol Nortons Commons Swingers With Pineapples Facebook group page to publicly humiliate her.

BUT, if she keeps letting it happen after that, let her dog do it's business, get a poop scoop, scoop the poop up, walk down the street, empty the steamy dog turds right on her front steps, ring the doorbell, and tell her she forgot something in your yard.

-Tell you what, 2 months off kid sports during the summer is the way to go. All about to fire back up again but was really nice having no commitments for those open months.
Enjoy it while it lasts. I've already been told from some of the Eastern Little League Elites that they have big summer plans for the Prince of the Prince of a Regional HVAC Empire.

Frankly, it's your own fault for making George so good at baseball.

  • JCPS school board is meeting tonight. The topic will be equity. Not busing. It's like they're trying to showcase how stupid they are.
  • My 14 year old has gone to work each day school has been out. I'm starting to wonder if she'd just be better off working at this point, getting a GED, and taking the placement exams to start college at a community college next semester. She goes to Manual - so allegedly the top school in the state - but there have been 0 communications from the school since this all went down. These kids should have been assigned work starting last Thursday but they're just sitting at home. It's such a joke.
  • 2 Gorton's Ancient Grains Crusted Fish Filet's on a bun for lunch. Yeah, it's not the best fish sandwich in Louisville, but for a total cost of $2.25 and not having to leave the house, it's tough to beat.
  • The Wander Franco story is nuts. I'm not excusing any of his behavior, but the one gal who is allegedly 14 looks like she's 25 (and apparently has a 2-year old). However, a 17-year old came forward today and accused him of "innapropriate behavior" too. I think he's cooked.
  • Besides that, baseball is so good this year. It's only going to get better too as teams start forming their rosters to take better advantage of the new rules (faster players, more contact, etc.)

-you don't have to attend every argument to which you are invited, gang.

-FedEx just dropped off 45 lbs of fish from Haida Gwaii trip. May have to get a smoker for the occasion...I'll do something for a tailgate, regardless.

-my office is in a questionable area. Just witnessed an altercation betwixt 3 obese folks...1 male, 1 female and 1 ?. 900lbs (minimum) of slow, loud...what appeared to be unhappy ballroom dancing. Now there is a couple of cops in separate tahoes a car load of paramedics and an FD ambulance. No one actually hurt. These people just cost the city (taxpayers) a few grand, minimum. Sad.

Thanks @krazykats !

The Armagnac finished wheater is a banger. Congrets.. Glad I was the first to thieve a bottle. Dark fruits and chocolate bitters

Additionally, the sourced wheater is quite elegant and crushable… as proofed by my sucking down 4-5 oz before 11:00am.

Seeing Rudd Thursday for a drinkienosh. Fun.

Went to JHOB for an amburana finished rye from
rare Character.

Better watch it, Wayne. Richie just reported in Live!! From Big Springs Country Club saying Louisville is fine and thriving. His crony Marty has it all under control. He's having cocktails with Kolb this evening in burgeoning NULU.

Lighten up, Toby.

It’s a messed up situation and really sad. Society as a whole needs good public schools. Especially a metro area like Louisville with a diverse student population coming from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds.

I know I sound like a hypocrite as we send our kids to a private Catholic school but it’s true.

Plus, my main angle with the post was to bust your balls how you have the answer to almost anything. If Trump would’ve kicked Fauci to the curb and named you in charge in March 2020 the Rona wouldn’t have a had chance.

*could point out that the more people that send their kids to private schools the less range of socio-economic diversity there is in public schools but at the same time parents gotta do what’s best for their own kids so best not to say someone is right or wrong and not come off as preachy whch is really the thing we should all try to avoid when discussing serious social and political issues but instead just gonna go back and think about Glenn Braggs*

Isn't that what this whole thread is about?

I do find it very ironic, and telling, the leaders current solution is to ask a well known local family transportation company to assist, AFTER hiring a Boston area AI company with no known clients.

Obviously, I take missing school seriously, rich. I spent 2 years screaming like an ******* about it. Perfect attendance for G last year, so it's known I'm not a hypocrite.

* Nothing puts a smile and pep (pun) in my step--while getting housework done--than when a 12-minute-combined, two video UK band compilation tickles the eardrums.

* American Top-40 w/Casey Kasem--even though sports announcers are included--has to be the show and man that was the voice of my childhood.

Not sure how many cassette tapes I went through recording that 3-plus-hour show every Sunday.

* Speaking of which, give me Steve Winwood as the most UNDERRATED artist of the mid-80's.

Valerie
While You See a Chance
Back in the High Life Again
The Finer Things
Higher Love
Roll With It

All perfect songs. Worship.

* I'm thinking for the last 5 years--with gun to head--I'm taking Lori Grenier (Shark Tank) as my go-to woman.

Smart.
Successful.
Beyond Hot.
And she loves to tease us with those glorious chest beefers every show.

Honestly, I'd not throw Barbara out of bed, either.

* Tickets for Keeneland "BIG ROOMS" are impossible to get when they on sale at 9am every mid-August. Lexington/Phoenix/etc. rooms gone within seconds.

*Wink* Good thing I made friends with ushers. Anyone interested in some "SEATS" let me know. *WINK WINK*

* Mattel's hand-held Classic Electronic Football will forever be my favorite game ever, and I'm not sure it was close.

* Fresh corn cut off a beautiful cob, then dipped in concoction of sugar, milk, salt, pepper and butter is beyond orgasmic.

* Flowers sent to a lady friend, sister, and/or mom is just a simple way to say, "thank you for all you have and are doing" and they damn-well appreciate it.

Krazy called them scum yesterday. Let's see if he has an update.

If I have an update? Because TMZ posts their side which uses vague *** words like “a very small advance” and ESPN reported 225K per family member, or because the Tuohys say “a very small percentage” which is accurate per ESPN which stated 2.5% and that is small. What isn’t small is the gross revenue to what that percent is valued in dollars for.

So the Tuohys used very vague meaningless words and you take that as “gotcha”.

And maybe you are right and an 18 year old is obligated to the paper he signed whether it be a conservatorship or a contract that completely waived any of his right to financial gain from the movie that was about him.

What you can’t defend is the fact that as the adults they accepted conservatorship of him, which they admit was to help him with certain aspects of life, but failed him dearly when it came to financial matters that just so happened to hurt him but help them.

If you don’t see an issue with that happening with the assistance of an attorney that just so happened to be a family friend of theirs who was most likely paid by the Tuohys(I’m assuming here as the kid was probably broke AF when he signed contracts) then good on ya.

Me, as an adult who is in charge of 7 kids and understands the challenges of teaching kids life lessons, I see a major F’ing problem with it as it’s the exact pitfalls you sign up to help kids avoid.

So whether it’s contractually ok or morally wrong, it’s a damn kid they wanted recognition for helping when in fact when it came to the financial payments of this movie they only cared about their gain off this young man.

He is an adult now, but he wasn’t then and that’s my focus. I hardly feel sorry for him at all but I certainly can see they took advantage whether it comes out as contractually just or not.

Another thing, if they had to fight this fight and prove these accusations wrong multiple times as they say then documentation of proof of those payments are at their fingertips and they could have easily squashed this today but didn’t.

Again, I have proof of several instance of my nieces and nephews mom texting them that they will be losers and we steal from them and use them for money etc etc. I have documents in my email that contradicts that type of slander and could easily show it in a 3 minute search, find and forward……….if they have that documentation as they say it clearly would have been done today.

But you are nothing if you aren’t white wayne so please continue on!
