- If I had to pick a Matts Award for Best Video Game Music, I think the Academy gives is to Super Mario Kart (SNES).
- While we're on old school video games, Baseball Stars (also great music) and Tecmo Super Bowl III: The Final Edition for teenage Matts. Being able to save yearly stats was mind-blowing. Those two were game-changers. Buddies would come over and we'd be up until near dawn every Saturday with a case of Mountain Dew and two large pizza's from Uncle Al's Giovanni's.
- That "Fly on the Wall" Snapchat series is the absolute most absurd thing on that app, and perhaps ever.

- An airport beer on the way to Vegas (flying out, not coming back) is still champion of best beers.
- I'm 45-years-old, but I'll randomly just watch Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbara cartoons in the recliner. Sometimes it's nice to laugh like you were 6 again.

- Sure do miss the after-school days when I'd get off the bus at my grandparent's place. I'd walk in the door with Kenny Rogers playing on the tape deck, white beans and cornbread on the stove, and a 16x9.5" baking dish of Rice Krispie's Treats waiting for me.
