I think after a few of these teens “bust” at the college level (or take the money and run), it’s going to be much tougher to keep up with the NIL pace some of these other schools have set. Some local millionaires may not see much return for their investment and decide to cut back.

Or maybe the really rich people know the apocalypse is coming and don’t give a ****. They’re going to see their old nurturing mother get a title before the Earth spontaneously combusts. Either way, I think the money train will slow . . . eventually.

Tadej is unbelievable. Has a legit chance to be the best grand tour champion ever. He's better than everyone else by a lot. Only thing that could slow down his palmares would be hubris. His performance the last 3 days is just legendary. La Super Planche de Belle Filles including 1k of gravel on 24%? Lol, that's whacky.

Powless is a stud but isn't a contender. Missed his chance at the jersey because Pogacar is so good. US has it's best crew of riders since the Postal Train.

Wout Van Aert is a freak and dominated the early stages. We're watching 3 all time greats right now in Pogacar, Van Aert and MVDP. Not only that but the sport is changing and throwing out the record books. I assume the juice is getting really good.

I see both sides of the issue, and understand the resentment, with respect to boosters being now expected to "legally' chip in on paying athletes/recruits.

BUT, I don't want to hear any whining when/if we drop back to uncompetitive levels in football, because UK fans decided not to prioritize that.
