Traditional treatment: Burger w/Caramelized onions and mayo. white American cheese, buttered toasted bun. July or August Jersey tomato.

or

Bamaburger: grape jelly burgers with Dales in meat. Provolone. Crazy good. Ketchup/mayo.

as long as no one claimed Miracle Whip as an option, I’m good with whatever.

I'd put my level of concern for what and how people eat things as high to very high.

The pretentious foodie has spoken.

I couldn't care less what people put on their food. If you choose condiments, that's cool. If you want A1 on a steak, so be it. I personally love the taste of A1. I put it on my baked potato and sometimes steak. Now, if I'm at Ruby's, Tony's, Malones, or somewhere of the sort, I eat it as is. If it's some run of the mill Texas Roadhouse, etc, I have no problem with it.

I've always followed this rule of thumb with condiments.

Fries-Ketchup
Hot Dogs-Mustard
Burgers/Sandwiches- Mayonnaise (although I like mustard on bologna sandwiches and mayo on fried bologna).

Again, I couldn't give the first french fried titty **** what someone puts on their food.

No offense, Llama, but I wouldn’t place Sweet Baby Ray’s on ribs, much less a burger. Marcus use syrup mixed with pepper. Sweet Baby Ray’s is thickly sugar coated, tomato based garbage in the BBQ sass world.
Richie made this comment per my Facebook memories YESTERDAY, when I posted a year ago about making some Emmy Sauce (from an NYC restaurant) and putting it on my burger...

"Great job, Todd. Looks legit. I’m just a simpleton when it comes to burgers. Salt, pepper, American cheese, raw onion and yes, ketchup."

I don't mind a knock against Sweet Baby Ray's. I realize it's just syrupy mass-audience crap, but it's what I happen to like best. However, I will NOT be slammed by someone who uses GYERO's most-knocked burger condiment. So go ahead and DIAF with Anth, Chef Prudhomme.

Llama… That’s what I prefer when making burgers. Seasoned salt, pepper, Kraft Singles, ketchup and raw onion.

I stand by my take regarding Sweet Baby Ray’s. If that upsets you well then this is GYERO and as a byproduct Salty Llama is good for this place.

I like mayo because its easy to jazz up by mixing in some other stuff. Roasted garlic, anchovies, parmesan cheese are all good mixed with mayo and used on a grilled burger.

I dont knock people who like ketchup but try adding a thin layer of tomato paste before you throw the Kraft down for a more "grown up" take.

Are you ******** that pretentious where somebody putting ketchup on a touching hotdog offends you?

Holy ****.

I mix up the condiments that I put on burgers. I don't always eat the same thing every time.

My favorite is mushroom gravy & Swiss, but lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion and Frisch's Tarter Sauce is right up there. Guac, bacon and a fried egg is awesome as a burger topper, too.

Now, if I see you putting ketchup on goetta or a steak I'm probably going to think you are an idiot, but I won't be mad at you.

Ketchup isn't just an offense to ME. It's an offense against nature. (and is horrifyingly gross)

Willie - This is GYERO, no preference or opinion shall go un-mocked.

If you're using anything but a vinegar based mop sauce (and it's not CAROLINA style, it's Memphis/WKY) on BBQ then you're doing it wrong.

Wildcat Willy Johnson is RIGHT! Putting what you want on a hot dog is the right of every American. It's still gross though.

Don't buy the rudd/fat hype. I just saw him yesterday and he's skinny as a rail now.

Also, Wyvern was there and he REALLY hates Communism. I said it was a good idea in theory, but it can't work because humans are basically crappy, and it looked like he wanted to drop the gloves and "GO" LOL

I care deeply about what people eat or put on their food. It's a national outrage.

The same people acting as if that's ridiculous are the same ones who throw regular fits in here about what people watch, how they dress, what they drink, what shoes they wear, how they maintain their facial hair, what music they listen to...and on and on and on.

Learn food, and get pumped.

When I do burgers on the Weber kettle I’ll add a coating of Ky smokin grill sauce to the patty just before taking it off the grill. Gives it that extra zip. Then some grilled chopped onions and a zap of ketchup on a toasted kings Hawaiian bun. Can also do the ky smokin grill sauce “too hot for you” edition if you’re feeling brave.

Didn’t Jimmy Buffet decide for everyone what goes on a burger? And Jimmy Buffet is the president of the Boomer ******* Republic (BAR) so shut up.

Watched Top Gun yesterday, and it was everything I hoped it would be/wanted it to be. Just a great piece of artistry with a perfect hint of nostalgia.

Needed more Ed Harris, though. That’s a cool mf’er.
More Ed Harris, less (and I mean way less) Jon Hamm. Had the look of an Admiral, I'll give him that. But he was truly awful.
