Pellet smoker, or any decent smoker, that is easily controllable and idiot proof. Preferably with Wifi.
*My Dad and I split a half cow and got several briskets included. Sold my smoker a couple years ago, but think it’s time to get back into it.

-icon is a *great* venue....perfect size for "smaller" acts.
-speaking of old ****ers writing music: basement studio is 97% complete. @Bonzo Cat , @CastleRubric and @HymanKaplan ...get ready. Need a synth nerd.
^all others welcome...my idea is to have a musical kibbutz, record everything and maybe find something worth refining. #midlifecrisis
I smoked a human brain to perfection tonight.
Camp Chef is the play. They are the same as the Treager but cost less, produce more smoke, and have a wider temperature range.Appreciate it Wynn, but I’m looking for something a simpleton can operate with ease.
I honestly don’t have the patience or desire to do “real man” cooks.
Basically, in the end, I want to be able to adjust the temp and monitor while I’m playing golf. Wifi enabled seems to be my only option there.
I stay out of culture war issues because the anger/outrage is so much greater than the importance of the issue
The difference in cost is a dozen mediocre brisket cooks.a 2500.00 grill for a beginner, that’s rich even by GYERO standards
I get it - but there used to at least be a warmup. We didn’t even talk about the weather as foreplay.UCL - it's axiomatic that "Older Guy" is going to share his views on any and every thing. You already KNOW this.
<--- went to a drag brunch yesterday to celebrate Easter. Was a blast.
In his defense, I am a clean-cut middle-aged white guy. So he probably saw an ally. The Patagonia vest I was wearing should have given him pause, though.Hey Geoff- can you ask Rivals.com why I keep getting logged out so then when I’m innocently scrolling GYERO my well cultivated ignore list doesn’t do me any good?
UCL- I call it “too online syndrome” ie people think real life is like a message board and just jump right into their takes, context or audience be damned. It’s resulted in a society of real life trolls. So you, a normal person, goes to get your Illuminati approved real ID and wind up interacting with UKO in real life. It’s the opposite of “Tron”, really.
