KRS 67.083(6):
And John Calipari shat himself.We caught breaks in our bracket in 2018, 2019, and you can argue this year.
What is your beef there? I don’t like him either but just curious.I would pay a substantial amount of money to beat Damon Thayer into a 3 day coma and avoid repercussions.
Cool story.KRS 67.083(6):
"If a county is authorized to regulate an area which the state also regulates, the county government may regulate the area only by enacting ordinances which are consistent with state law or administrative regulation..."
KRS 82.082:
"(1) A city may exercise any power and perform any function within its boundaries, including the power of eminent domain in accordance with the provisions of the Eminent Domain Act of Kentucky, that is in furtherance of a public purpose of the city and not in conflict with a constitutional provision or statute.
(2) A power or function is in conflict with a statute if it is expressly prohibited by a statute or there is a comprehensive scheme of legislation on the same general subject embodied in the Kentucky Revised Statutes."
If unc wins tonight, they pass us in all time tournament wins.And Kansas just passed us for all time wins. Quite a night for them. Very cool
That's what I said. States legalizing are only changing state law and thereby precluding state and local law enforcement from prosecuting. Feds are still free to do whatever they want.Marijuana is still a Schedule 1 narcotic under the Controlled Substances Act. State laws that have “legalized” marijuana are preempted by federal law. Certainly, states can enact laws to regulate marijuana if they do not conflict with the CSA.
But the CSA does not provide citizens a private right of action. Only the US Government can challenge the state laws. There are a number of circuits that have upheld dismissals of suits brought by private citizens challenging various state laws.
I believe AG Holder (IIRC) issued a memo under the Obama admin directing DOJ not to pursue lawsuits on these state laws.
We were not a top3 offense anytime after mid Feb
And I never said otherwise. Sorry you're having trouble here.Cool story.
Federal law also supersedes state laws.
I just meant in the last 4 wks of the season, on a trend line, we were not a top3 in the country offense. May have been there for the full year but not in last 6-7 games.We certainly Top 3. We were either 3 or 4 headed into the tournament.
If you’re playing a semantics game then F off because you know what I meant.
Good to see Juzang lighting up UNC. He would have been a whipping boy sitting beside Allen on the bench.F it! Ucla ahead of us and we are probably never gonna catch em in my lifetime anyhow so go bruins.
Or he’d have been reduced to being a sub 20% 3-point shooter in March.Good to see Juzang lighting up UNC. He would have been a whipping boy sitting beside Allen on the bench.
Reminder.
White Wayne is rooting for Duke and has defended the charge call in this thread
He went to the Elight Eight 3 years in a row and the championship game in 2008. Not too bad.At this point if Duke beats Arkansas, UNC and Houston then crown the MFers. Good riddance K, F off!
That is the best 3 game stretch we have to knock that bastard off.
I hate that Duke(Banchero and Moore) as well as UNC(Manek) has players I actually like. Kansas doesn’t but they really don’t matter.
I don’t blame Cal for the TOs, missed shots or FTs. But what a missed opportunity. When he was at Memphis and they regularly won 28-30 games regular season and never lived up to the hype in March I just wrote Cal off as all hype. I didn’t like it when he came here but then he turned it around so quick. Now, and the past 6-7 years he reminds me of Cal at Memphis stacking wins but not when it counts.
Maddening.
Let’s do some maritime law now
