At this point if Duke beats Arkansas, UNC and Houston then crown the MFers. Good riddance K, F off!

That is the best 3 game stretch we have to knock that bastard off.

I hate that Duke(Banchero and Moore) as well as UNC(Manek) has players I actually like. Kansas doesn’t but they really don’t matter.

I don’t blame Cal for the TOs, missed shots or FTs. But what a missed opportunity. When he was at Memphis and they regularly won 28-30 games regular season and never lived up to the hype in March I just wrote Cal off as all hype. I didn’t like it when he came here but then he turned it around so quick. Now, and the past 6-7 years he reminds me of Cal at Memphis stacking wins but not when it counts.

Maddening.

Bachero can eat one. He’s a doosh.

I would say the embarrassment of the other Blue Bloods making Final Four would force John’s hand with changing his coaching philosophy…. On the other hand…
L - Tom Crean
L - Bruce Weber
L - Bruce Pearl (Beat them by 32 earlier in year)
9-16
St Peters

And nothing has changed coaching wise

Sorry for Foo Fighters guy Ive never heard of…

but

I find Dave Grohl unbearably annoying. Inflated sense of self-importance in music history.

Rancid take. I don't listen to either of his bands daily but to be a pivotal part of two of the largest (and wildly influential) bands in the past three decades is something of merit.

I've also never really heard him toot his own horn (typically he talks about how much he's borrowed from other musicians and is pretty self-deprecating). Either way, Taylor Hawkins was a solid dude as well and a tremendous musician. Hate to hear that a 50 year old died in Colombia but hard not to imagine what did him in.

My 10-year old daughter has spent a sizable amount of time over the last week drawing pictures of Doug Edert, but making his uniform say “Peapukes” or making his mustache have handlebars or whatever. I can’t tell if she is just bitter about the loss or secretly has a crush on him. I hope to God it isn’t the latter.

Wow! We lost to a good team that is going to the the Elite Eight. Maybe, Cal isn’t as bad of a coach as you think. Did we have a bad shooting night against Saint Peter’s, yes. Did we get out played, yes. Maybe there was a reason those two things happening. Saint Peter‘s has a very good team and if your team has an off night they will beat you. They’ve outplayed 3 pretty good teams now. They’re playing great offense, defense, and they got hot at the right time. First 15 seed to ever make the Elite Eight. So maybe our coach and team weren’t as bad as you hater’s have made them out to be. They play NC next and I know which team I’m pulling for. Which team are you pulling for? If you’re a hater do you pull for NC, so you don’t look stupid for trashing Cal and the team. If Saint Peter’s wins and goes to the final four will you admit we got beat by a very good team? Naw Baby Naw you won’t. I’ll receive plenty of hate for calling out the haters, but please know I don’t care. Some on hear have been posting hateful threads since last Thursday, and nothing matters to you. It wouldn’t change your feelings about Cal or our team, if Saint Peter’s won the NC. You wouldn’t allow anything to get in the way of your hate.
Meanwhile on the premium board….

Let's pretend we won in 2015, made it to the finals in 2018, and the final four in 2019. And let's pretend we at least made the tournament last year. And let's pretend we ran a solid offense, but Oscar got in foul trouble and all of our shooters went ice cold and St Pete's went on a heater of all heaters and we lost in OT. That, I could say, was bad luck and I would not be pissed off at Cal. But we're so far away from that it's insane.

In looking for some positives...our potato President might have just stolen the future news cycle from what will/would be an acc and Duke slurpfest.
I mean if that’s his strategy, fine. But the fact the White House immediately walked it back is concerning. And I mean concerning from a “why do we have a senile old man in charge of this” pov?

I’m loving the anti government sentiment but what the **** are you two talking about
Biden has said we were going into Ukraine, would use chemical weapons on Russia if Russia used them, and that Putin needed to be removed from power. All within the last day. White house staff has walked all those comments back almost immediately after they were made by our chief executive.
