If you are vaxxed, boosted and not 600 pounds and still worrying about dying from covid it may be stroke that gets ya.

Never seen anything like it. We literally have the answer to keep folks alive. Yet some are still are opposed to it. Hey do you. But go get pumped and take your masks on a plane with ya.

-Pippen gets an incredible whistle at Rupp, honestly, it’s strange.

-I love Minz. He’s got some of that Frank Ramsey “if you win by 20, he’ll give you 2. If you win by 2, he’ll give you 20” to him. His worst stuff is when he has to play spot point duties which isn’t who he is.

-We are at the center of projected ice totals. No thanks, this area has had enough devastation lately. How bout some snow instead, Mother Nature?

-My 8 year old son has been quarantined 3 times since Christmas. My daughter and I got it, he was quarantined during Christmas. Then my wife got it 2 weeks ago, quarantined again. Had to test him to go to school Monday, positive…quarantine. He, of course, is asymptomatic and devastated. Has missed a normal Christmas, birthday parties, school (we spend hours each day on the twin’s school packets). Ironically, my daughter got the stomach bug and was puking all day yesterday. One kid is in quarantine and one is not…and it’s not the sick one. How about we stop testing healthy people? Just a thought.

I mean, you could push them together, but better to probably just get them out the way.

Congrats Clark!

Reggae version of Wish you were here, not bad.

Meh good bourbon drinking weather. And it’s Thursday.

But what can I say? As usual around here, I’m Mr. Brightside.

Reminds me - when discussing Thursday with my colleagues, I always refer to it as “Thirsty Thursday” then regale them with what I plan to drink that night when I get home. It always lightens the mood a bit. They think I’m a bit of a character.

Me and my wife closed our businesses and are celebrating a long weekend. Last night was good - got nice and hammered and enjoyed our company like a wife and husband do. Today our washer that we just got two weeks ago (I paid extra for American made GE!) is broken halfway through cleaning my 6 month olds clothes and sheets that he woke up in - which were completely soaked in urine. My 3 year old son who is potty training decided to take off his completely ****** diaper and then sit on the potty resulting in an ungodly site that I can only imagine looked like a room in an insane asylum for monkeys. My daughter ripped her rainbow teddy bears arm which was the end of the world. I just turned on Disney plus and cracked open a beer and am drinking in my underwear currently. I’m in the bathroom pretending to take a **** and have been for about 20 mins. My wife is on to me I’m pretty sure. I’m alone in the bathroom drinking a f*cking beer posting on catspause pretending to poop. This is exactly how I envisioned my f*cking life at 40.

Anth seems to take his winter travel shortcomings out on the rest of us. Go somewhere warm, bub. GTFO for a long weekend. Christ. Let us winterballs alone.
Great call. I'll drop the kiddos off this afternoon. Should be a hoot for Ted and Chap.

Took my 12yo to the game last night. His first game in 6 years and my first since 2020. My goodness that place looks completely different. Feels like a complete new building. Was in the uppers even tho I swear I’d never do that again, but the seat backs certainly help. Even a big fat like myself had enough room. anth - pretty sure you and G made the hunt brothers hunk cam last night. Congrats man. Looking great

still no ice in jessamine county but I went ahead and stocked up on alcohol and grillable items in the event we lose power. Also made a stop at Starbucks to get (2) trenta iced coffees with no ice to stock for the next couple days bc you just KNOW those pussies are gonna be closed no matter what.

I know it’s cool to hate winter but I’m pretty jelly of the huge snowfall amounts they’re getting up north. I don’t want it all the time, but one giant snow is fun. I’ve got a 4wd Yukon Denali so I can get place to place in snowy conditions

Clark, welcome to DADYERO

Nah, being crammed in a dark house with school closures, practice canceled, and games canceled for weeks on end is what I hate. Sunshine, nice little ride, or a catch outside would go a long way right now.

I get it, man.

I bought my grandparents house from their estate after they both died (Grandpa first, of course). Once moved in I found old whiskey bottles tucked in the floor joists down in the basement cellar and I'm pretty sure those got there in January and February. The open 12 packs of Old Milwaukee tucked away in the detached garage were assuredly spring/summer therapy. I mean us Dads have been dealing with this **** for generations.

Email traffic was pretty slow this morning and early afternoon. I figured everyone was just taking a mental health day and enjoying the ice. So I popped a few gummies and made some frozen pizzas.

I have since had clients request and schedule zoom calls for later this afternoon. Which will be a lot of fun. I hope they don’t mind paying 430 an hour for advice from someone who is stoned out of his mind.

Still just rain here in Fayette and even though it is showing purple on the radar for Louisville, my family says it is just raining there. Let’s make note that school would be letting out now about now. School could have been open today and then closed tomorrow if roads are bad. Now we have to deal with two days most likely. Daycare is closed today too. It’s just so easy to close these days.

Maybe I don’t remember but it seems we only had a snow day every once in a while (not even every school year) except for that year it snowed a bunch in 1993. Am I misremembering?

@Blue63Madison no brah, you forced your way in with your grandma making Tayshaun hit 5 3s and then someone else no one cares about died. Pipe down.
Dude, it was my mom, and it was my little brother. Believe me, thousands of people care. You might want to chill the **** out. We don’t bring personal losses into this thread.

We had b’nut squash soup with pork chops on Sunday so he’s safe.

I’m debating between pad Thai or fish tacos in the new air fryer I got for 30% off at Target today. (Nich Rd. Target had a bunch of rapid tests in the middle of the main aisle near health/beauty today if anyone needs to stock up while waiting on your gov’t version of the tests.)

Salted around 3:00 this morning so I have a nice slush base to push to the side when the 3-4 inches of ice stop falling around 5-6 tonight.
Good wake and bake with coffee then a trip outside to check my earlier pro move while smoking a cig around 7:00. Happy with my results put on a pot of chili to slow cook. Quick check of the interwebs another bake and coffee before lunch then just baking out on movies on this wondrous day. When life gives you ice storms just bake and chill.

Just keep finding a way to win when you know they’re going to try anything/everything. And Suckhouse can eat all the dicks. Along with all the other SEC teams, coaches, referees and fans.
