You could never beat Mario 1? I have a picture of me standing in front of the tv with bowser as my ***** and the princess saved.

Also, I get what you mean about kids and video games but it’s really the only way I can survive on NTI days when I’m working and especially when the 15 month old is home too.

At about 4pm today, when George went to get a sparkling water from the beer fridge, I realized the only thing he’d had to drink today was a chocolate milkshake from chick fil a. #winning

Hard crowd. They’re playing Elton John music during this current routine. Elton John is one of those guys I have a lot of respect for, because he overcame the man, but I just don’t really care for his music. He made this one album really early on that’s called Empty Sky. We’re talking like 69 (lol) or 70. It’s really good - my old man has the original album. But he’s still super gay, or whatever, so you know.

Also, an additional thought - it’s fun to watch Olympic sports and have your children actively root for Russia to fail. Feel like I’m making up for lost time being a young lad when the wall fell. Nationalist-style hate for Russia is something I am all in for.

Been working all day, and will be tomorrow too!

Two jobs out west for a new client I actually planned to drop when our first project started out with them redirecting their deliveries about 10 times before I told them moving forward that’s a $500 charge I’ll stop eating. From that point on things have been smooth so sure I’ll bid Turlock, CA and figure out Spanish Forks, UT where we have no local support!

- Finalized my 2021 books. Only technically profited $3500 after spending more than I owe on my house in barrels and have roughly 140 in inventory. 140 barrels after starting 4 years ago with 9.

In my bourbon journey I have built a helluva a team behind me that seem to appreciate my ability to plan ahead enough that patience never runs thin. If my time in construction has taught me anything it’s that if you know what’s coming up it’s never too early to get things in motion. The worst clients I have never do and stay in shock at how long things take and how effected by price they are.

@ Alabama this weekend? Damn! I’ll never forget live by the 3 die by the 3, or the most amazing comeback I’ve ever witnessed in my life when we got hot at LSU and won after being 31 down with 15 to go. Just insane what those types of teams can do. Tomorrow is all about defense to me.

- I got my little guys tickets to Disney or Mickey on ice for April. Mickey is on a TV or device from the time one of the kids wake up until they are back to sleep, and that doesn’t mean their watching it.

This got me to thinking of all the cool stuff we have done for our kids just to see them then move past their phase. My older two boys completely stopping their wrestling phase after Wrestlemania in New Orleans was mind blowing! But I got it that RAW and Smackdown were boring after see that live.

Thousands of people wake up everyday wanting to move to Nashville.

People wake up everyday wondering how they’re going to get out of Cincinnati and Louisville.

It’s not even a contest on which is the superior city. It’s like watching Usain Bolt run in the Special Olympics.

Will have to check out The Other Guys but Marky Mark may be the most successful bad actor of his generation. Modern day Tony Danza.

Good news! You're getting more Waffle Houses in Lexington.

BIL (cool one, not the tax cheat one) decided last night to relocate up there. Who's the GYERO preferred real estate agent?

Conversation I had with the lass last night:

Her: I think we should get a cat.

Me: We’re having a baby and I have two dogs. We don’t need a cat.

Her: I’m going to start looking…

Not even married yet and I’m already being ignored in major decisions. Feels good.

- The Winter Olympics opening ceremony is on live right now on NBC. I have it on as background noise but man, it's creepy. Half-full stadium, Putin smiling and waving while grinning like a cheshire cat, NBC announcers calling it from some soundbooth in NYC. The whole thing is just eerie.

- Seeeeeems like Auburn may need a new FB coach soon. Harsin has had a motorcycle accident, if you know what I'm sayin'.

- Early to bed the last two nights. Missed out on some good hoops, it seems, but definitely waking up sharper and more productive. #ThisIs47

- "The Amazing Race" is one of the few shows the entire fam watches. Which GYERO non-married duo would make for the best team in a race around the world? Gotta go with UCL/Max since they're the same person.

- (insert my annual "I love watching those old NFL Films Super Bowl highlight shows this time of year" take)

~The Winter Olympics are awful in general....being in China makes them despicable. Oh great, you won a medal in the country that wants to destroy us. Props.

~Rodgers in Music City would be great, and watching him, Mahomes, Burrow, Lamar, Allen battle it out for the AFC crown...wow. And anything to put the Steelers lower down the totem pole is always a good thing.

~The world can't have too many Waffle Houses....3 eggs scrambled, bacon, waffle, and scattered, smothered and covered.

~Except for ringing the Salvation Army bell in the mall during Christmas, Lex weather gurus pretty much suck.

~The left and their fascination w/ masks and quarantines is disgusting.

~Chuck roast w/ all the fixins slow cooking as I speak.

~Woodoku kick of late....addicting.

-My pops has gained 14 pounds the last few months. Up using his walker and just a totally different person. Hoping that streak continues.

-Will has signed the NIL deal. I’ll head up to Lexington after the Super Bowl to hand deliver his 1st check and sign. One of the pieces is we will host a meet/greet with Will for our customers during the season in Lexington. Of course 99% of you are welcome to come.

-UK at 14-1 should be something you folks consider. Soon it’ll be less. We have every single tool Cal needs to win it. I expect them to win it but I’m a homer with this squad.

For Bengals fans and others who like that underdog moment.

-Harsin pissed off the good old boys down there with the Nix stuff. This was inevitable.

-Harsin's assistant is DOPE btw. Much better than Petrino's work. Also, we probably need an OC quick.

-Are we going to get those style comedies ever again or is Hollywood done with that genre? What was the last one, Tropic Thunder?

-I love both Olympics, what's to hate?

-Looking a rowing machine to mix up the cardio, not enough room for an elliptical or tread.

-Jobs report 😁 now let's cut out all the nonsense and f*cking go.

-Let's take care of business tomorrow and get back to Saturday home games. FFS. Seems like a month since we waxed UT.

Friday Hill’s I’m Willing To Die On

The SuperSonics belong back in Seattle

Pichters should have to hit.

Bourbon is meant to be drank neat . Like God intended. Ice is acceptable for women and the faint of heart.

Find a powerful man at the top and more often than not you’ll find a women on her knees. Doesn’t make it right or wrong as long as everyone’s consenting adults imho.

I will never, ever give a **** about your Wordle score.

-Out of office message is going up at noon. Then two or three scotches at the bar checking in with the regulars. Hot chicken pizza tonight in the Nations with the Lass.

Enjoy your weekend GYERO. Cayuts by ten bigguns.

-Bourbon rocks for Dad, but drink it warm if you want. DGAF.

-Ignored a text from a bad decision prone neighbor for some cocktails last night. He's hungover and I've been at it since 6:30 am. A pillar of strength, gang.

-Lass to Lexington this evening for a bestie's 40th celebraish. Get the kids down, throw some tunes on, enjoy.

-You'll come down to earth just a bit when you go through that Boise/Auburn chick's insta, but she's right there. Shewee. I get it.

-Auburn is the Louisville of the SEC.

-Native, "old" Nashvillians have plenty to gripe about when it comes to their fair hometown, and they do. I'm there quite a bit now for work (and my best friend lives there). Those folks offer Nashville as a cautionary tale for their neighbor to the north and former peer. Growth isn't always better.

Depends on the lifestyle you want, I guess. What I do know for sure is that my pretty nice lifestyle in this filthy river town is extremely difficult to pull off there now, whereas it didn't use to be. That sucks for a lot of people.

- Working at the coffee shop for a few hours. It’s a must for me to get out and walk somewhere when it’s snowing- would prefer a bar but this works.

- 😂 They’re interviewing everyone from Burrow’s pee-wee football coach (claims he forced Joe to play QB) to his parents to his high school English teacher. This town’s gone mad. I love it. WHODEY 🐅

- Best in the granola/oat bar category- Bobos bars. Outstanding.

- In the moments before I feed the cats my wife adopted on me, these bitches are clawing at each other, taking swipes, hissing, everything else. However as soon as the chow is delivered, everything is cool. They’re best friends- sharing their meals, rubbing up against each other, happy and content. Reminds me of GYERO when our basketball team is playing good ball. This place is just a very positive place to chill right now.

- Got into the brown water a little bit last night. Not hungover but I feel it.

I always thought South Carolina was closer to UL. Concrete flanked hell hole stadium in a city/fair grounds. Trains. Fans too cocky for their accomplishments.

The Plains are beautiful and the locals couldn't have been nicer in my meetings. They have some crazy good old boy **** down there but that a given.
