Losing anyone other than Stoops/Big Dawg aren't a concern for me. Stoops consistently shows the ability to make the right hire as is evidence by the fact that he's had so many assistants coveted elsewhere.

Don't want to lose Coen but do think we can find someone in a similar mold to run the offense if necessary.

Stackhouse dresses likes he's getting ready to make an appearance on The Arsenio Hall Show.

* With the Rams OC going to coach the Vikings after the Super Bowl, that basically guarantees Coen will be in LA next year, right? If he goes, all we can do is wish him well. I feel like 15 years from now that guy will have a Mike Leach-like effect on the sport (on the field, not off.)

* Ryan Lemond -- wrong again.

I don't hold that against Ryan, as Pdre said, that was some old school ****** SEC team tactics. They were literally tackling Oscar every touch or rebound. Ridiculous. You can't throw a kid out there into that type of game. Not to mention it was a close game.

-F*ck Stackhouse, he's always been a *****.

-What a ****** way to play a game. I was furious by the end. That big goon had Mintz in a head lock. Oscar was tackled or undercut on every board.

-February 🤬

-The dude from wordle got f*cking paid for the dumbest game of all time.

-New Meateater is out. Highly recommend that show if you haven't ever watched. Has a No Reservations type feel to it.

-Sounds like if the Rams don't offer then the Vikings will. So... that sucks. I trust Stoops to make a hire, obviously, but it's far from ideal with the season we want to have. Oh well, the big boys deal with this every season so marcus get used to it.

-Now that we've admitted, not realized because it was common sense, that plastic barriers, social distancing, cloth masks, sanitizing groceries and lockdowns were completely worthless and in most cases actually made things(especially other than covid) worse... what was the dumbest thing you saw in the 2 years? We'll take closing schools off the board.

Wearing a cloth mask into a restaurant or up walking BUT not while eating? Grown adults wearing hazmat suits to travel? Governor not allowing people to travel across state lines? Closing parks and mandating outdoor masks? People drinking fish tank cleaner? QR code menus? No tip offs?

For a solid 20 years now, I've sat here watching games and seethed with rage upwards of 1.9 billion times as some overzealous defender had the audacity to play tight defense, and the moment the offensive player gently raised his elbow above his waist, that action violently sent the defender flying and crashing into the 4th row, resulting in an extremely enthusiastic charge from the nearest official, stoking the love and admiration of the home crowd, and receiving special acclaim from the entire coaching staff.

So for a brief moment last night, I had to make sure I was watching the same sport when Vandy's guard (Pippen?) took a strong/intense SWING at TyTy Washington.......and the foul was somehow called on Washington.

Did anyone else watch the game last night? Just want to make sure I wasn't having a dream/nightmare about this scenario.

I’m the furthest from UKO any poster could ever be. Trust me, that’s the truth. You apparently are new to this ****.
A response that includes an attack on Get Bucket$ (who has been on this board since 2007) and pats oneself on the back with absolutely no support whatsoever?

Yup. That's the sort of pathological narcissism that is UKO's bread-and-butter. Congrats, KSR Terry.

- Learn ignore button, nerds.

- Late to the party, but on a big Royal Blood kick right now. Between them and Death Therapy, I'm a sucker for rock bands using bass as a substitute for guitars. "Boilermaker" is an absolute jam.

- We've had a family of raccoons decide our chimney is nice and cozy, and they have been increasingly LOUD. The chimneys are bricked over and closed to the interior of the house, so they can't actually get in. My cat jumps onto the mantle when she hears them scrabbling around in there and stares at the brick like she's either a) waiting for a friend to materialize or b) like she's going to rip something to pieces and make it wish its grandparents were never born. My fiancé is reaching Caddyshack-level pathology about these stupid raccoons and is dead convinced they're going to get through the brick somehow before we can get them out.

So last night, I was mostly asleep when I heard the cat screaming, growling, hissing and spitting at something. She has a few neighborhood kitty nemeses who patrol our yard, so I just ignored it. Fiancé had been dead asleep and went from snoring to SCREAMING and hauling *** out of bed so fast the covers ended up across the room, sprinting out to the stairs. I tried to stop him because I was afraid he was going to yeet himself over the balcony trying to get downstairs and managed to trip him enough for him to sprawl out in the middle of the floor and bounce back up and keep sprinting to the stairs, calling out for the cat and yelling about raccoons the whole time. He got to the top of the stairs and looked down, and that little ******* is poofed up with a broomstick tail yelling at another cat mean-mugging her through the front door. She turned around when she heard us thundering down the stairs and looked at us like "lol, I've got it handled, I'm a guard kitty. MRAOWOWOW" 😐 😐

And that's the story of how I thought my fiancé was going to have a widowmaker heart attack trying to defend the cat from raccoons INSIDE MY DAMN HOUSE. And how I discovered I can't effectively tackle a 250 lb man running full speed. I asked this morning what he thought he was going to do to the raccoons* and he said "punch them or strangle them, I guess, I wasn't going to let them hurt kitty."

Anyway, do exterminators even work?

- All our power lines and trees were totally ice-encased by 8 am. Good luck with all your ice storm orgies today, GYERO.

*he actually refers to the raccoons as "coons"

I mean, can you imagine being double vaccinated, boosted, young and healthy and STILL worrying about this stupid f'ing virus?

I personally cannot, but holy smokes do I know plenty of people who are.

Joe Rogan (yeah, spare me the rolleyes) made perhaps the most astute observation I've heard yet. He said something like "there were a LOT of Americans who emotionally were hanging on by a thread and barely making it even before the global pandemic. And this has only made them worse." Pretty much sums it up.
