- Found it amusing though not surprising that WWTH somehow garnered a mention even on Max Duffy’s Pin It Deep podcast. Great listen, by the way.
- Nothing I can say about Norm that hasn’t already been said. Burt/Turd Ferguson will forever be one of my favorite SNL characters.
- Rack Willy on the Two Hearted take. Pretty much my go-to in that category.
- Similar to SAE’s earlier take, while baseball is my favorite sport, is a huge bond between me and my dad, and now with CF also…I’m not going to be terribly upset if he eventually drifts to focus on another sport. I will always support him however far he wants to go but also honestly want no part of travel ball and our lives and weekends being consumed by baseball year-round.
- That said, we’re 4-1-1 in Fall Ball.
- That chain link fence around Tin Roof’s lot just looks janky. I mean, I
get it, safety ATKOT, and I never go there anymore anyway, but it looks like a perpetual construction zone or something. Just terrible.
- Apart from having an injury of some sort that warrants it, I will never get used to seeing people with dogs in walkers, and I feel like it’s becoming more frequent. Taking them on walks is one of the best perks of dog parenting. Just bizarre.
- Having to regularly trim nose hairs already has me feeling old enough, but now I’m even getting white ones. Pretty much ready for my AARP card and 4pm dinners at Morrison’s/Piccadilly/Blue Boar Cafe at this point.
- Been following the Murdaugh story for some time, and that whole saga just gets stranger by the day.
- I’m not going to lie, the Gran addition has me a little nervous and scratching my head. I get that he and Stoops go way back, and he’s probably just trying to do him a favor. Still just weird to me.
- I generally dread winter but at least always had UK Basketball to pull me through it and those freezing cold, dark at 5pm Tuesday nights for the most part. Couldn’t necessarily say that with enthusiasm in recent times. Now feel comfortable saying I’m not dreading the next couple of winters as much as I have been.
