- After all the turnovers, can’t blame Stoops for bringing Gran back. Liam can coach QBs if Randy Sanders is cool with it.

- Really looking forward to Scheyer and Hubert falling right on their ugly faces. Yeah, I said UGLY.

- One of the many things I miss about working downtown is the mid-day wienerdog races on Fountain Square to kick off Oktoberfest.

- ATTENTION: I don’t care about your ancestry, I will not be offended if you wear lederhosen this weekend. Have at it. Kraut-approved by me.

- After watching Dateline my entire life, seems to me that the greatest job of a GirlDad is making sure they don’t get involved with the wrong guy.

- Question for only-childs and parents of only one, how important is it to have a sibling?

Basler is an only child.

Ryan was late.

Matt went off. Then just kept going, and Ryan got kind of defensive/upset.

Matt was probably right to be annoyed but shouldn’t have been yelling at him on the air. It went for a good 12-13 mins. Awkward as hell.
That exchange.reminded me of a married couple who had been building up some anger towards each other. Husband mad that wife doesn’t cook as often, wife mad that husband doesn’t pick up after himself and one little thing gets it started. One of them says the wrong thing and it’s on like Donkey Kong.

My wife is also a ****** driver.

Well I know that she isn’t Asian so I can only assume this is because she has a ******.

Looks like someone we all know has never been to the Sirloin Stockade (aka The Bull) in Murray.

That place is only a half step up from Ponderosa, which is not a compliment.

I enjoyed 2, they were 2 years apart and after the youngest turned 2 they started playing with each other and giving us more independence. We still could give them plenty of one on one attention and on date nights they weren’t whiny because they had each other. Easy transition for us from 1. 3 has been a GD nightmare, we’re completely outnumbered, the other 2 have become whiny attention seeking ********, going anywhere is more difficult with an odd number of people, and in general I feel like my head is barely above water. GBB!

A better pro tip is just use vacation time for the first round of March Madness. While it’s nice to be laid up with peas on your balls for a weekend I’d rather have the availability to go to games, a bar, or a sports book those days.

- Subway had to start over as a myriad of former spokespeople were tainted by association, IMO. (Click YouTube video for further reference, 37m22s)

- To head off my wife being late for things, I sometimes add extry calendar appointments to our shared iCloud calendar with sober directions for the next physical action to be taken to accomplish a task, “Begin to pack up and leave to get the kids.”

- My son and I both woke up with sore throats this morning, so we both went to the drive thru test and got a McDonalds breakfast of it. It seems like we have colds go through the house once every 6 weeks with the subsequent COVID tests, at this point. The shallow nostril twirl swabbing efforts don’t seem like they’d be effective after experiencing the lobotomy practice technique used earlier in the pandemic, IMO.

- I also miss working downtown. I work near Willy where every non-descript building feels like a front for intelligence services.

And miss out on all that crazy hot sex until March?!

Think, August.
Eh, it’s like a 6 month wait. My way you get to take a 4 day weekend, watch the greatest 4 days of sports, and once that is over a lifetime crazy hot unproductive sex awaits you. But you do you, my man.

My wife is 13 years older than her sister. It's a pretty wild dynamic because they look a lot alike but grew up in totally different times, so they're really unique in their personalities.

Stoops is bringing back Ahmed Wagner as a graduate assistant. Ahmed's brother Aamil just so happens to be a 4 star offensive tackle with offers from the Fightin' Willies of Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Penn State.

Yes, sir. Me likes.

* Thought Sahvir Wheeler did great on KSR yesterday. Really likable kid. Has a point guard personality, if that makes any sense.

* It is sinking in that there is a potential we won't start a freshman this year. Washington and Collins will probably start at some point but it is not certain that either can beat out Wheeler / Big Oscar.

Again -- yes, sir. Me likes. Especially because next year looks like the return of an all freshman superteam.

- Rich Brooks and Mark Stoops are our Bo/Luke Duke, and Joker was our Coy/Vance Duke. Just an era best forgotten.

- So are the COVID swabs not going as deep by design? When I got mine last week, I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't jammed all the way to my brain. I just assumed that it was because I got the best tester.

- Tuned in to the final quarter of last night's NYG/WFT game b/c of a sports vacuum. What a bad man Ron Rivera is. Successful in Carolina but never completely appreciated, took on the challenge of coaching a Dan Snyder-owned team, continued coaching last year while undergoing rounds of chemo. The stories of what he endured during last season are pretty incredible. Glad to see guys like that get the recognition/success they deserve.

So that was a contrast from the NYG sideline, where Jason Garrett continues to look perpetually-confused while calling plays, their offensive players seem to hate each other, and their head coach (who they hired straight from a career of being a special teams coach) was raving like a lunatic. The Giants and Jets are just weird, man.

- Am I missing something? Why is UL having its Madness event out at Churchill Downs? You have arguably one of the five nicest arenas in college basketball, where these kids would actually be playing. Instead, you roll the dice with the weather (looks like they'll dodge a bullet there). It's just bizarre to me, but you know....UL.

- Run it up, Gus.

I did a drive thru test this morning as a requirement for traveling with the talent next week. I got a little aggressive with the left nostril and I'm pretty sure I touched brain. Glad to discover there was still some gray matter left up there, TBH. Sometimes I wonder. Well, hell, I don't need to tell you guys... some of you occasionally read my posts.

Joey, we'll have to snag some lunch up here in Blueashingrad in a few weeks. Better make it pretty soon, though. I'm thinking about starting to eat right and work out again in a few weeks or so.
