* <-- added one listen to the SAE podcast, and enjoyed it. My tips...

- more gambol talk
- more unfiltered s*** talking rivals
- start taking calls. I'd be happy to prank you.

A very good effort on your first take, my dear friend.

* It's a shame Joker's head coaching tenure wasn't more successful, because he's one of the very rare types who grew up here, played here, coached here, and thought of UK as his dream job. And he wasn't a good head coach, but by Kentucky standards, he was actually pretty average.

I would welcome him back with open arms anytime.

* The only scoop I've ever had in 20 years of posting here was the Randy Sanders hire. His nephew worked for me when I lived in Knoxville, and I knew he had accepted the job 2 days before the story broke. Still on cloud 9 from that one.

YOU'RE WELCOME, Cats fans.

* Whether it's the players on the field, or the coaches off of it, every team needs a few guys who may not be exceptionally talented, but are super professional/organized/disciplined/dependable. I wonder if, from a coach standpoint, Eddie Gran is that guy. Otherwise, I can't really see why he's back.

* Five big'uns actually sounds about right this weekend. Gimme the Cat and I'll lay the points.

Lemond is a complete idiot. Wasn’t like he is now at WLEX. I mean he was always a dumbass but just not quite like what he’s become.
I worked twice at WLEX — once when he was there and once when he wasn’t — all I can say is … he had the same reputation, each time, among his coworkers.

Thanks for listening, pti.

You could probably appreciate this. It's kind of like exhibitionism. You're going to enjoy it no matter what, but it's obviously more fun with an audience.

Next week I'll be more comfortable and hopefully more entertaining.

- Found it amusing though not surprising that WWTH somehow garnered a mention even on Max Duffy’s Pin It Deep podcast. Great listen, by the way.

- Nothing I can say about Norm that hasn’t already been said. Burt/Turd Ferguson will forever be one of my favorite SNL characters.

- Rack Willy on the Two Hearted take. Pretty much my go-to in that category.

- Similar to SAE’s earlier take, while baseball is my favorite sport, is a huge bond between me and my dad, and now with CF also…I’m not going to be terribly upset if he eventually drifts to focus on another sport. I will always support him however far he wants to go but also honestly want no part of travel ball and our lives and weekends being consumed by baseball year-round.

- That said, we’re 4-1-1 in Fall Ball. 😎

- That chain link fence around Tin Roof’s lot just looks janky. I mean, I get it, safety ATKOT, and I never go there anymore anyway, but it looks like a perpetual construction zone or something. Just terrible.

- Apart from having an injury of some sort that warrants it, I will never get used to seeing people with dogs in walkers, and I feel like it’s becoming more frequent. Taking them on walks is one of the best perks of dog parenting. Just bizarre.

- Having to regularly trim nose hairs already has me feeling old enough, but now I’m even getting white ones. Pretty much ready for my AARP card and 4pm dinners at Morrison’s/Piccadilly/Blue Boar Cafe at this point.

- Been following the Murdaugh story for some time, and that whole saga just gets stranger by the day.

- I’m not going to lie, the Gran addition has me a little nervous and scratching my head. I get that he and Stoops go way back, and he’s probably just trying to do him a favor. Still just weird to me.

- I generally dread winter but at least always had UK Basketball to pull me through it and those freezing cold, dark at 5pm Tuesday nights for the most part. Couldn’t necessarily say that with enthusiasm in recent times. Now feel comfortable saying I’m not dreading the next couple of winters as much as I have been.

That whole thing turned into a veiled racist rant about too many hispanics in baseball but what am I gonna do.

- While the leggings/yoga pants and thong bikini trends were a couple of the better ones my generation missed out on in college, I can’t say enough about how terrible this current trend is of baggy, ripped jeans and huge sweatshirts I see all over campus, at Disco Kroger, etc. Just absolutely awful.
Welcome back to the 80's. We got screwed. Raising drinking ages, bad wardrobes, started cracking down on drunk driving. We couldn't have anything nice. You're welcome.

Good job, great effort. Enjoyed the listen as well. If the podcast takes the form of your posting style on here, can’t wait.

Shew been on a 2 week work bender, ready for some football in the bluegrass tomorrow.

My whiskey charity picking some more barrels today…having some serious FOMO.

IMO, Gran is back for 1 of 2 reasons. To take Brez's old role or to learn some of Coen's offense to take to his next gig.

-SAE podcast was solid. I love the quick hitter style. Nice work, pal.

-Lively is UK, right? If so, that's just wild. He's trying to wrap this class up by November. No more May/mid summer scrambling and dick in our hands BS.

-So did we just flip spots with Duke and recruiting? They land a 15ish ranked guy yesterday and we're taking half the top 10.

-I trust Stoops, and if it's truly that asst off the field stuff I'm sure it's ok, but it's weird nonetheless.

-"Hey is that Joker?"

-I'm not a doctor but when you need a rona test (Tyler Thompson style flow chart) -> IF you(or your kids are not symptomatic) start with the at home test(door dash will deliver from CVS, WG or Kroger) or IF you have symptoms get a rapid antigen test. Stay away from the PCR unless required for travel, those drive-thru, get your results in 3 days, serve no purpose, and are overly sensitive.

-Thick cut bacon BLT last night. Duke's. Yellow heirloom. Perfection.

-Not only nose hairs but the length and thickness of eyebrows are a massive change. Need wire cutters to keep these things neat.

-68/46 next Thursday. Fall on the way. Probably time to load up the LL Bean cart with some fresh outerwear.

Deer are catching it like crazy. Apparently that's why this never has a chance of reaching covid zero because it has reservoirs in wildlife. I don't understand it but that's the theory.

It’s only on Hulu is you pay for ESPN+.

If you have cable/satellite and can’t open the ESPN app and find the game 10ish years into its existence you might as well just listen to it and not worry about it.

-login to espn app with your tv credentials
- go to browse at top
- scroll down to “channels”
- select SEC +
