- My favorite all-time teams that weren't "my" team:
  • The Day/Mayberry/Miller Arkansas Razorbacks
  • The mid-80's New York Mets
  • The Johnson/Augmon/Hunt UNLV Rebels
  • The Hagan/Bieniemy Colorado Buffaloes
- Suddenly fascinated by this missing woman who was on a cross-country trip with her fiancee and had documented the whole trip on IG/YT. They had hit up a bunch of national parks and seemed to be having a great time. Pulled over after someone saw an altercation, cops talked to them, let them go on their way. Eventually he returns home to Florida, she doesn't, and now he won't talk. In the days before 24/7 politics, this case would be the only thing cable news would talk about. Man, politics ruins EVERYTHING.

- Also fascinated by Presbyterian College football. They hired that high school coach who won a bunch of games by never punting, going for two on every score, and always kicking onsides. They've won their first two games 84-43 and 68-3, albeit against a bunch of tomato cans. Curious to see what happens when they start playing legit teams in their conference. But he's essentially playing the same way my daughters did when they tried to play Madden back in the day.

- Tuesday/Wednesday are good for catching up on MLB, since there's nothing going on football-wise. Had no idea the magnitude of the Reds' collapse, nor the three-way atop the AL wild-card standings. As much as a single-game sudden-death BOS/NYY would make for great TV, I still want to see new blood in the playoffs, so go Blue Jays and go Reds and please let my Guardians finish at least .500 and whatnot.

- Pretty bold of Subway to have their entire "relaunch" campaign be essentially "we're not doing anything new, we're just doing the same stuff we've done for the past 30 years, but trying to actually make it taste good this time. Come to Subway."

Subway, poor bread, processed meat, similar costs to Jersey Mikes and Jimmy Johns, Penn Station...Other than that, an awful product. Good luck.

Rodgers alternative lifestyle alienate family, vice versa?

Brother-in-law did electric for Purple Poulet. Power going to 5 different sources, bar next door pulling power from that site. Found poker chips beneath floor from wayback when it was a speakeasy.

Text convo i just had and brought it up to a coworker and asked them. Are you a gas prices checker type person that always gets lower price and pays attention, maybe even going out of your way a bit. Do you get gas at one place and one place only? Or get it at Kroger and use the card for a discount? Or i dont care, i dont pay attention, i get it wherever type person?

Gas prices are mostly too close to go out of the way for. You pretty much know there's always a "cheapest place in town," a ton that are all about the same, then that one ******* that's like a dollar more than everyone else.

So you either make a special trip to Kroger/Sams/Costco/etc, or just avoid the price gouging Arab.

-Yeah, I got nothing for OOC games. Eff that noise. Win as many as you can and don't apologize our schedule is hard enough. Let me know how many teams are playing at UF, UT, USC, UGA and 2 SECW teams on a regular basis. TIA.

-Nicki Minaj out spitting some truth last night. The hero we need.

-What's this talk about last season of checkerboards? Is that legit or am I getting my hopes for disappointment?

-The thing about traditions is you can't f*cking change them every 5-6 years. Example: The Claw, That big drum, etc.

-Told you all not to trust the Reds. So predictable.

-That FBI/Gymnast stuff is brutal.

-Re-watched Fletch last night after probably 20+ years. Held up great. Still not his #1 but an all timer.

-WCC is right. I was salty when we were settling for 2nd and 3rd option, 10-40 ranked guys. Still a little snake bitten. If we're going to sweep the top 3 or 4 of the top 10, we've seen that play out before. With NIL hopefully keeping guys in school a bit longer, recipe looks DAF.

-Subway should focus on not being disgusting. That would be a good start. Bins of stuff just sitting there all day getting breathed on, mixed, blah. Disgusting.

-Don't forget to mask up for Flu Season folks. It's coming.

My Grandpa would drive to Brooks, Shepherdsville, Lebanon Junction for .05 saving per gallon. Wouldn't hear any rationalization of the actual economics either.

*At night*

In daylight, it basically looks like:
“City with hole in building.”

Why are the two post up front slanted? Is the whole roof about to collapse? ****** looking design. Also, gray, black, and orange color combo NEVER looks good. Must have gotten a great deal on paint after Halloween.

I disagree with the great WCC on his 4 being the most important position in small ball. I will say the athletic, rim protecting 5 or the wing player is the most important. BUT, without a PG who can get to the spots, none of them matter, but from a both ends of the floor stand point, the 5 to me.

You are so stupid Chase.

1. When’s the last time we won ****?
2. What kind of hair did we have?

Bonus question: How many were from the west coast aka the worst coast in the country?
By YOUR geography I believe that Murray kid and SGA did "OK" and turned out to be worthy west coast signings. Would you not agree? I sure hope not, that would mean I am on the right side of the debate as you are always wrong.

- Mount Washington is always 10-20 cent less than Louisville, and I buy so many groceries I’ve not had less than $1 off at Kroger in months. That’s where I go unless I need gas on the way to/from the distillery, and then I’ll stop in Waddy for nostalgia purposes like I’m in college when they always were cheaper too.

- Subway needs $5 foot longs. Other than that, no thanks!

- Wifey finally melted down last night. ***** just too much around here, and it is, couldn’t even argue. My kindness and not even arguing made it worse.

Tough spot here, I’m not the type to give up on people but it may be time for my step dad to check into a home.

- Just signed a contract with MGP for 40 barrels a year of their 45% wheat bourbon. I know they are known for their 95% rye, but mercy that wheat product is good! Storage space there to.

* My gas station choices....

- the Pakistani-owned one with the shawarma pop-up
- the other foreign-owned one where the cashiers are always packing heat

Avoid: the one by Tulane that nobody ever seems to go to and is at minimum $0.75/gallon more expensive.

* RECOMMENDATION: LuLaRich (Amazon Prime).

I actually appreciate them interviewing some of the early entrants/ballers, in addition to the typical slander. But the best part thus far, in episode 2, was the black girl declining the award winning cruise.

"I mean, I'm just gon say it.......I don't wanna be out they on a ship.....IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, with a bunch uh them white people. Y'all just let me know when y'all get back, k?"

Note: Best I can tell, that was clothing designed specifically for 40-something, ugly, fat people with horrible taste. Who TF wore that garbage?

* Norm Macdonald on The View reminded me a lot of this one...

I like Colbert and all, but Jon Stewart actually being insightful and funny and upstaging the host and not following the script sent him for a complete tailspin.

* In 3 weeks, Louisiana has gone from the epicenter of the Delta variant COVID surge, with record setting hospitalizations......to about half that figure, with the worst outbreak very much in the rearview mirror. The statewide success is largely due to the government's recent decision to do -- well, nothing. It just kinda passed on it's own.

* Andy Staples --> honestly, that's a TERRIBLE take. The Kentucky job sucks. Always has, and probably always will. Saying it's a great job, and certainly calling it the BEST job is completely asinine and undermines the incredible work that Mark Stoops, Vince Marrow, and the rest of the staff has put in. That's my take.

* Nick Castellanos = can't believe we didn't trade this guy.

Have always found the “this job is great because fans have marginal expectations” take to be lame.

Kentucky football has become a better job because of a smart hire, good coach, outstanding recruiting strategy, excellent player development, school investment and being in the most prosperous conference in football. It always had upside. The fans were always here.

-reds entertained me til UK football got started...that's an unusual plus. Regardless **** all other teams and their fans.

-"Gary's" marathon on Ashland and main. I once forgot my wallet, realized *before* filling up (big *** truck $60+)and Gary said "no problem, go ahead...you can pay for it next time you're in". That's my dude, gang.

I have been watching The Devil You Know on HULU and it is nothing more than a documentary blaming everyone from banks, police, government, the judicial system and society for a phycho killer. It's a documentary about Pazuzu Algarad and some of his "followers" killing 2 men and burying them in his backyard. The whole gist is everything bad is someone else fault and that there is no way that this fine upstanding young man is to blame....

Nicki Minaj knowingly married a sex offender who is facing time for failure to register so she can get pumped all the way to Pluto. She also tried to pay off her husband's victim to make her recant. And he did time for manslaughter. Sooooooo....

The only people I know who go out of their way to go to particular gas stations are my 83 and 89 year old grandfathers. The younger of the two wanted to take my mom to fill her car up before she left and proceeded to have her drive 30 minutes out of the way to a station that was a whole ten cents cheaper. Olds, man.

The best job is the one that best positions you to win a national championship. It’s that simple- considerations including everything from tradition to to fanbase to $$$ to geography to reputation.

I used to have a coworker that obsessively used the "gas buddy" app and would rush out for his lunch to fill up for a 5 cent per gallon savings. When I pointed out that that's $1 per 20 gallons and not worth the time or effort, he countered that $1 would get him a McDouble for lunch.

Same guy stole flowers off a headstone to give to a first date. Unbelievably cheap and weird.

Ryan was late.

Matt went off. Then just kept going, and Ryan got kind of defensive/upset.

Matt was probably right to be annoyed but shouldn’t have been yelling at him on the air. It went for a good 12-13 mins. Awkward as hell.

I just now listened to it. Ryan forgot that Matt was going to be in Lexington so he wasn't at the restaurant, and they nearly missed the beginning of the show. So Matt spent the first segment fussing at him.

Pazuzu was Meow and I's neighbor circa 2010/2011.

Meow also grew up down the street from him and went to high school with Pazuzu.
