Gut punch.

Norm's book was one of my favorite reads of all time.

Just the other day I went down a YouTube rabbit hole of watching him on various talk shows over the years. And every time I watch his final appearance on Letterman, I get choked up a bit, because Norm did. Always gives me goosebumps.

A celebrity death that's actually going to affect me for a long time.

There's a bartender at Bourbon on Rye that has Norm MacDonald's voice. It's uncanny. We brought it up to him and he said he gets multiple comments a day about it. So, Norm lives on through that guy, I guess.

- Norm was a comedian’s comedian- as evidenced by King Llama’s affection for him. An all-timer.

- Just got back from my baby’s one-year appointment which meant four shots and a finger prick. Awful. Absolutely awful. Poor little girl. Those pediatrician medical assistants must have ice in their veins.

- Love a sitcom that can deftly dip into melancholy once in awhile. “Scrubs” was always tremendous at it and “Ted Lasso” has it, too.

- Bring back the white Game hat.

- So the coeds are now wearing sports bras with mom jeans - basically a call back to early 90s Janet Jackson? Interesting.

- Been throwing it back to some Oasis lately. I would place “Champagne Supernova” ever so slightly over “Wonderwall.”

-MacDonald was top notch. His Weekend Update on SNL was hysterical.

- I have no clue whatsoever what TED LASSO is about and I’m not going to find out.

Coach pitch sucks if you are the coach pitcher. You really have to know what type of pitch a kid will hit. In the main part of the season when you only get so many pitches it anxiety inducing. Also a kid that lets the last pitch go by without swinging would make be level 10 redass.

In some points of a season with batting practice in a cage I would probably throw 500-600 pitches a week. My shoulder was toast. I was in constant pain from March thru June. Had to go thru PT as soon as the season was over.
You throw’d out yer arm but you won her that teddy bear?
