I'm telling you that Cal is the reason for Basketball uniforms and not Mitch. Not sure why he has this blindspot but he has the power to have badass uniforms and won't do it.

- SAE's disdain for WKU is an underrated hatboggan for me.

- Rex gets plenty of pushback on my Twitter feed from people I follow. He's just unable/uninterested in responding. Probably the former.

- USC is probably gonna get this hire right, because they finally have quality leadership in place. And I hope they do, because this Bama/UGA/Clemson/Oklahoma/tOSU hegemony needs to be broken up, and my guy CRISTOBAL can't do it all by himself.

- I bet the Palumbos would go to the Met Gala.

I used to love WKU basketball. They've had some really fun teams. Courtney Lee and Elgrace Wilborn were unreal. Non-stop Sportscenter Top 10-worthy highlights. Since Stansbury has gotten there, I just can't give a heck about it, even when they're decent. Not sure why, as I don't have a strong opinion of him as a coach, but the teams just aren't likeable for some reason.

Bowling Green has lots of unmet potential. Decent sized population, major university, good bones downtown, but not many options there. There's basically two decent restaurants and nowhere else for an adult to go get a drink. It sucks, but doesn't have to. A Tony's in an Embassy Suites in the middle of a trendy apartment complex by the interstate exit won't fix it.

Who makes the best retro basketball jerseys for Willy to show off his pale, flabby arms and ill advised tattoos these days?
I don't wear basketball jerseys since my arms got flabby. But pale? How could you possibly tell through the thick layer of werewolf wool?

* Northern Michigan is beautiful. Traverse City, Mackinaw, Petoskey. Gorgeous.

On to Seattle/Tacoma/Olympia next week.

* Hit Jeff Ruby's Carlo & Johnny Sunday night. Crab Bisque & Filet Collinsworth medium rare plus for the flabby, pale guy, kale tart and the salmon for my fine at fifty fit as a fiddle marginal Buckeye wife. We split the mac & cheese & a bottle of wine and they brought us out a complimentary dessert for our anniversary.

Excellent.

I think both Anth and Boat would approve.

* Avoid injuries this week and take care of business. Then on to SC.

I hate those bastards.

* I fell the pain of whoever it was earlier who had a friend hurt themselves on the trampoline so their parents wouldn't let them get one.

I had been saving up for a Honda Spree (moped) and my Dad was going to take me to get it that weekend.

On his way home from work one night, some dumbass teen ran a red light on a moped, crashed into a car just in front of my Dad and skidded across the intersection on his face. I wasn't allowed to get a moped after that.

* So, basketball recruiting seems to be going well. We gonna get Lively or Bona?

* Been drinking Old Fashioneds with Krazy's 9-yr rye and that Proof premixed stuff that somebody got me for my b-day. Fantastic. But then pouring more of the rye over the remaining cube is even better.

* Had 3 local beers up in Michigan and they were all good.

1. Petoskey Horny Monk - sort of a creamy Belgian.

2. Saugatuck Blueberry Lemonade Shandy - bartender poured this one on accident for somebody else and then asked if I wanted it. Free beer? Sure. Surprisingly good. I normally don't like shandys. I had another.

3. Bell's Two Hearted Ale - One of my favorite IPAs.

* Those little film breakdowns that Van Hiles does are awesome.

The TE is there, man. Levis is going to see that on film and after hitting a few of those everything will open up even more. Shew Wee.

* Happy birthday shoutout to Chief! Have a good one, my dude.

* Alright, sports fans, this is Wildcat Willy getting his *** back to work. Have a great day, GYERO.

- Bowling Green is fine. Used to be a perfect place to run off to for a weekend of parties and guaranteed to wax something. Got to the point I’d go with no where to stay and be good for the weekend when parties were lined up.

- Starting to feel like I should charge GYERO a NFL gambol fee.

Bets place for next week because I only like 2. Browns -12 and Packers -11.

- I’d like to fire off 3 emails right now letting someone know I’m no longer pursuing them. But I’ll mange their houses for a few more months and ghost them, I hope!

- Derek Carr is a top 10 QB in this NFL.

- My kids have gotten into frisbee. What a blast! We spend at least an hour every night out back flinging that sucker around. My 5yo can clear what I’d guess to be 20-25 yds distance which is just amazing to me.

- I’m not sure how accurate this is, but from what I gather the vaccine is filled with some kind of fake proteins that trigger autoimmune disorders ie diabetes/vitiligo etc.

Also, Covid is a bio weapon, as is the vaccine.

There are a few other reasons, but to me those are the most plausible reasons for ADULTS to not get the vaccine.

I probably would've gone to WKU if I hadn't been too fat to feel like walking up and down that hill to/from class every day for 4-5 years. Ended up at a much smaller, flatter school. #TopographyMatters

I've fact checked this and it's completely accurate. Also, it will make your balls swell and cause impotency which could lead to your fiancee bolting.

My grandparents met at WKU and I've been to that Starbucks headed down to Nashville about 89348 times, so thanks to BG for that, but...yeah.

Buck’s is still around? Good for them. Pretty space, mediocre food. I used to live in the Mayflower when my FIL owned it.

My answer for any Louisville celebration dinner is Jack Fry’s. But times may have changed... Lilly’s was also a good choice.

Lived in Highlands for 10 year stint, 10 years ago... to clarify misstatements.

I’ll give Stansbury one thing: he does recruit Kentucky kids and tries to keep a decent relationship with area high schools/coaches. He has a couple guys on staff in charge of reaching out to high school programs and the one that reaches out to me has been very nice and accommodating.

I have been shocked at the population growth of BG in the last 5 years. It is also extremely, internationally diverse (for better or worse; lots of refugees). Basically it has become an arm of Nashville. Basically another Rivergate exit, 40 miles north.

If you don’t like others opinion then why be so gung-ho about what they should do.

You said you don’t see why, but for ALOT of people those are reasons. Considering how this BS has been handled no one can say definitively that they are wrong.

I don’t know who Nicki is, but lumping me with her is a great way to get my swollen nuts cut right off.

I’ve been vaccinated so hopefully, despite me not trusting it, nothing bad happens to me.

Derek Carr, I don't know, he throws off that L's up line beard vibe. Probably runs around with some short dude who is always getting him into trouble. Can't take him serious.

the 19x9 stuff >>> homefield. The homefield stuff just leans into nerdy white Twitter college football writer for me. We get it. You love your ironic cal state Fullerton tee AND your UConn joggers! So neat. Pairs well with your gay little ipa and mustache. Log off and toss your phone into a river.

SAE - I’m hoping my 7 month old is trash at baseball when the time comes. As much as I enjoy my older boys playing and posting their highlights (2 home runs in the championship game this weekend) it’s a ton of unnecessary stress and drama. Hope he learns guitar or something.

Everything about 2020 sucked balls except the college football schedule. My goodness. It was banger after banger. I get needing the W’s but the week just doesn’t have any buzz when you’re staring down UT Chattanooga for your Saturday night entertainment.
