Took some liquid valium in high school with a buddy, and we watched a 4 hour Duraflame log burn in the fireplace. It seemed to burn a LOT longer than 4 hours...

99% of my interaction with scratchoffs is being in line at the gas station behind some person with poor hygiene that is trying to decide which ones they want.

I buy scratch-offs for the kids and me at a gas station nearly every drive down to South Carolina. What I consider innocent family fun, my ***** protestant wife detests as an introduction of the concept of GAMBOL at too early of an age.

Always been bingo. Used to buy my grandma and grandpa scratch offs all the time. Then sit there and help them scratch. Fond memories of 2 of my favorite people ever.
I don't think I've ever bought one, but Mom puts a few in our stockings every year at Christmas, even though she doesn't play...they are indeed kinda fun -- I won $10 this year.

I was once gifted a stack of scratch offs by one of the previously mentioned uncles. IIRC maybe a birthday somewhere around 8-10 years old. Upon looking- they had all already been scratched.

Didn’t say opioids and how TF can you get addicted to Valium. Having been prescribed 5 AND 10mg for over 15 years at the prescribed option of “Take as needed” for 90 pills of each per month. I take them to help ease the side effects of my treatments since I can’t even take aspirin and the prescriptions last me 5-6 months. I thought you had to be jonesing them daily/every few hours to be addicted. Thanks for clearing it up that I’m actually addicted to something so I can get myself into rehab. Probably be mainlining heroin soon if you hadn’t brought it to my attention.

I've never bought a scratch-off, but it's not because I'm self-righteous about it, I just honestly never think about it. Same with the lottery/powerball.
