- Local sports talk radio in the Commonwealth is awful. I mean for a market Louisville's size to only have the chucklehead cardinal sycophants broadcasting shows all day that sound like they're produced in their garage is laughable, and downright unlistenable. How ESPN radio has been unable to cultivate a UK centered show is a huge miss.

Not to mention there's just zero creativity out of any host. Where's all the talented up and coming voices that turn into the next Tony Bruno, Rome, Czabe, Petros & Money or Mattox & UCL? I mean, come on, a dozen or so in here could run a kick-*** show that would not only crush the sports angles that are missed by that midget Drew Deener but also carry on some interesting topical discussion as well.
I know one UK show based on Louisville that I have heard has done pretty well but I have never listened to it so I am not sure.

I knew it was the Boise guy, looked up his name last time it was asked, and still couldn't name him right now.

The CFA "My Pleasure" seems a little passive aggressive sometimes. Specifically when I ask for all the sauces for Nugs.

1. CFA (GOAT)
2. Honey Mustard - good change of pace stronger tang
3. Ranch - needs no intro
4. BBQ - uniquely positioned for a CFA nug not sure I would like it on anything else
5. Buffalo - usually a combo dip for me with the ranch.

Disgusting garbage- Polynesian & Siracha

- 'soup to nuts'. 'stem to stern.' 'inside baseball'. 'duck tape & chicken wire'. 'long runway'.

- looking for quality over quantity in programming I guess. more in-depth conversation with some high brow humor. this thread for your ears in the afternoon or evening, if you will.

- since 80 mentioned the bass g.o.a.t., had to give this a view.

4.5 episodes in on Ted Lasso. Turned it off last night. Think I'm out. I mean it's fine for most Americans, I guess. I get it. Just not that interesting tbh. Sudeikes is pretty painful at times in that role.
Rex Chapman thinks you're a simpleton and that Ted Lasso is the single greatest television masterpiece ever produced since the Obama inauguration.

Regarding lined shorts I’ve been digging my birddogs.

Also, why do guys wear underwear under their board shorts/swimming trunks these days? Defeats the whole pupae of wearing quick driving material such as swimming trunks.

It must be exhausting for Richie to go through life incensed at every man who doesn't dress, speak, groom, and basically anything else *exactly* how he's determined is THE proper way.
Have rocked the polyester/spandex blend golf shirt all summer long and haven't looked back. Just a wonderful, comfy material that is versatile AF too.

Who would willingly wear a heavy cotton during the dog days? Makes no sense.

This sounds bad and arrogant, and maybe it is. But the success of KSR has made the other shows impossible. We have tried to start afternoon shows with other hosts but (a) afternoon drive time radio is struggling all across the country and (b) advertisers won’t get on board bc they know the audience for KSR is so much larger (c) finding great radio hosts is really hard. Everyone thinks they can do it but it ain’t easy. If you know one, let me know and I will put them on the air

I have wanted to get one going that we owned but there is no market. People listen to daily radio until around 2 and then studies show they switch to podcasts (often of the morning shows) in the afternoon. The trend is true pretty much everywhere but it’s really true outside the major markets

Three years ago we almost moved KSR to afternoons and we realized it would cost the show 40% in revenue. The way of the world now
