Ghostbusters 2 is actually pretty good also. Definitely as a sequel to an all time classic. The courtroom scene alone warrants a watch.

Just read that article on downtown Louisville- good stuff. Been reading a lot lately about working trends, big cities, etc.

Should be finding out soon our exec’s decision. Basically, our team has been every bit if not more productive from home. It blurs the lines a little bit, I work more now, it may be a tad worse on my overall psyche, AND I do miss my work people and comraderie, BUT if given the choice, I can’t pass up the convenience of work from home.

Imagine it will be a personal call or blended experience (3 days in, 2 at home).

Interesting times- work, schooling, college, transportation, etc.

Caddyshack 2, while an obvious step down, was still humorous. Really dug Chynna Phillips as the stuck up Miffy. Randy Quaid was awesome.

Bunch of funs’n’uns.

Put me down for Revenge of the Nerds 2 as well. Again a step down from the original, but it had its moments, and Courtney Thorne-smith.


Now here is an interesting question. Should the nerds be cancelled? I mean they did install cameras and violate the tri-pi’s privacy in the sorority house and then sold their nude photos (for charity.) Lewis basically date raped Stan’s girlfriend by posing as an imposter. They assaulted the Alpha Betas genitals by putting liquid heat in their jocks.

But it was all in response to the terrible bullying and persecution they received. If they had left the nerds alone, they could have lived in peace.

Moral to the story, don’t F#ck with the nerds.

When my 3 year old wants to watch Jungle Book on Disney+ she has to get me to change it from the kid profile to the adult profile and then sit through a 1 minute disclaimer about how it has outdated cultural representation.

She can’t read so I’m not what it’s accomplishing.

I know from reading this thread that every single thing that’s even the tiniest bit controversial is canceled these days, but I’m currently watching As Good As It Gets, which is hidden on a secretive uber conservative right wing media platform called “Hulu,” and both the movie and Jack Nicholson are fantastic.

If anyone is interested I’ll send you the password, secret handshake, and special code.

  • Still pissed Bill Cosby bought and cancelled Our Gang - The Little Rascals because it was racist... meanwhile, the kids were all Depression-era poor and they welcomed Buckwheat or Stymie as equals. Whatever, comedy gold - sealed in a vault.
  • My son’s 2010 Volvo C30 is finally mechanically sorted. Engine mounts, brakes all around, alignment, timing belt. Looks sweet. Removed window tint. I got him mats, key, and reapplying emblems to restore stock look. Ahhh youth and a sizzling ride with incredible tunes. Any gear head would know that a C30 is a Ford Focus SVT with an additional cylinder. T5 engine is a banger.
  • My basement bar and entertainment center is under construction. Bar furniture piece is still in Kansas. Dust and noise. Sonos tunes theater are wired. Upgraded to GWB ceiling. Master’s Stock the Bar Party.
  • Of course our dishwasher exploded. Take care of your appliances y’all. Apparently, because of pandemic, there are no spare parts produced the last year and a half... so you have to buy new to get your **** straight.
  • Cayuts have a shot. #whynot
  • Bryson clearly cheated when he sought relief on the rough collar ‘near’ a sprinkler... then proceeded to drop onto first cut and putt in a line 2 feet north of the direction of the actual cut of grass. It was not in the spirit of the rule as he wasn’t even aiming near the sprinkler. He’s a stupid meathead. Eff him.
  • Nets get Blake? Jeesh. I’ve been a Nets fan since Otis Birdsong, Buck Williams, Derrick Coleman and Drazen... I can say they are fun to watch, but this roster is ridiculous
  • We had been paying Lakeside Swimclub $75 a year (for 15 years) to stay on the inactive associate member list... this year, 2021 they cranked that **** up to $318 maintain that status. Even if we move back to the Metro, they can GGP for that ********.

I like sunglasses, but they tend to only make things darker- which as we all know can be DEADLY in a tactical situation. Anyone have any suggestions to meet my needs?

Edit: They’ve militarized Blu Blockers. They replaced the Blu Blockers rap with situational awareness. The world has lost it’s damn mind.
