LaMelo Ball, Spire highlights popped up in my youtube recs earlier. I clicked on it because I haven't watched him in a while, and I'm in NBA draft mode. Immediately noticed this freak athlete on the team-- #22, so I google him for more information.....

Kentucky commit Isaiah Jackson -- completely forgot he existed 😲

What Obama did to Trump today would be deemed a murder in some circles. Not a fan of all his politics, but holy ish the man is a Rakim/Nas of orators.

The pending semi-literate tweetstorm between now and tomorrow morning could be epic. Brace yourselves. 😂😂😂😂😂

And don’t give me your moral high ground. Your judgment is suspect, Mr “She seems like a good person.”

I never claimed the moral high ground, but I’m not about to listen to it either. These two are both deep in the mud.

So you can take your members only jacket and get pumped.

The FBI confirms Iran and Russia are meddling, sending Democrat voters threatening emails from the Proud Boys...2020.

When you say “Proud Boys,” are these the oversexualized raging homos posting racy, sexy photos on social media, or the neo-nazi sympathizing male only white power pro militia group named after a Disney show tune?

Because there’s two.

-- My wife's close friend (gay) all through school apparently won $59.000 on The Weakest Link the other night. That's like the 4th game show he's been on since he moved to California. Even dropped an "Owensboro, KY" when he introduced himself.

-- The pickle that can accompany a Jimmy John's order is terrific.

-- Rudy G getting pranked by Borat is quite hilarious. Sasha Baron Cohen is a treasure.

Iran and Russia want Don back for another 4.
When I was five, I loved Red Dawn more than any movie ever, meaning I hated and will always hate the Russians. Also, I work in the oil business including focusing on production in former Soviet countries. All that said, I have yet to come across a situation where the Russians have had any impact on me or my business. The Chinese on the other hand are a threat - and the Israelis are complete dicks to work with.

My point is, in 2020, who gives a F about the Russians? If someone who does what I do doesn't get impacted by their "sphere of influence", how is this an issue for 95% of Americans?

Okra/Pickles randos....

Had whole fried okra with spicy pimento cheese dip at T Lawson’s (Patti’s spin-off) in Grand Rivers the other day. Was delicious.

Re: pickles. My mom’s, GRHS, recipe for “Sweet Hot Dill Pickles” is my go to....

—2 32oz jars of sliced hamburger dills, drained
—add 4c sugar, 2T Tabasco, 1/2t red pepper flakes

Let stand for 2 hours, stirring occasionally until sugar melts. Put into jars with 3/4 garlic cloves. Prove me wrong.

Other than that pork chop at Patti’s, I thought T Lawsons was better.

Settled on the Old Taylor and OGD Bicentennial. National Distillers products.

Got a Evan Williams 23 yr from 1969:confused: For 3000 available too.

Sweet Baby Jesus, please let a few of us survive the post apocalyptic election and Covid so we can watch this overflowing wealth of talent bake until April when we rape, plunder and pillage what’s left of the NCAA while dragging our nuts carrying off the trophy!

Lawson’s is definitely a different vibe from Patti’s, much less pretentious. Plus, you don’t need reservations 6 months out. Also, come to find out one of the head chefs grew up “across the ditch” from me so he hooked us with some freebies, which was nice.

Edit: I know this isn’t sacrilegious, but I think Patti’s pork chop is over rated.

*Patti’s pork chop is indeed overrated.

*I’ve never gone to Patti’s and thought “man, this place is pretentious.” Honestly have no clue why you think that, and I’m not a huge Patti’s honk. Kind of cool every now and then, but there’s much better food elsewhere.

Maybe a poor choice of words, but Lawson’s is a dressed down version of its Sister’s place. It’s not like there are many places like Patti’s between Grand Rivers and Beaver Dam to compare it to.

That said Patti’s was, at one time, the place around here to go to, to feel “pretentious”. You are, however, right that now that isn’t the case.

How’s Patti’s hand job these days? Is it a pretentious hand job, or just a nuts and bolts, “just the facts ma’am” type hand job?

Patti's is turrible. Well, not turrible, But I've never been as underwhelmed (after the
hype), as I was with that place. Weird location, weird vibe, weird servers, and weird bread.

The flower pot bread, along with the strawberry butter, is delicious, so you can go ahead shut your damn ***** mouth. Their cheese sticks are are also top notch. No idea how good the fried pickles are because I’m too pretentious to order them (if they even have them)
