-having grown okra...there is a tiny window when its edible. If not picked at the right time its stringy and gross. If its fried youre tasting the batter, if its pickled youre tasting the vinegar/spice...in a soup/burgoo its filler.

Appears I will be joining my brethren bbdk, willy, and pti soon in shaving my dome. Been no guarding it for 5 years but this second child has led me to a nearly proper skull de sac.

Going with a trendy foil shaver over a traditional razor due to some topography issues /noadam

*really sorry ron...i dont mean that, im just really committed to this bit.

Not sure what you’re apologizing for might be the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me on here

The ******** I’m from pickled literally everything but one of the most popular was these really weird looking long skinny cucumbers that I can never find here. But even I can’t imagine the rope bologna or pigs feet or eggs. JFC thought this was a first world country, bologna rope?🤮

My granny's pickled okra recipe will make you lick your eyebrows.

If you disagree with that, you are wrong and hate America.

I've grown to despise any food that is bastardized by the inclusion of something "sweet." Pickles should not be sweet. Barbecue sauce should not contain molasses or honey. Chili should not contain cinnamon or brown sugar. Pizza should not contain pineapple. Hams should not be "honey-baked."

Food is bastardized by activating one of the five taste receptors you have? That's a freaking new one.

It’s pretty damn unrecognizable right now. In a lot of ways.

Is it as unrecognizable as the UK defense even with those gift pick 6's UT gave them ? For somebody with a self proclaimed high IQ, you sure do say a lot of dumb ****. Me believes you really DO NOT have a high IQ, you are just full of ****.

My bad. I was thinking of the Skyy kid. Since Cal, it’s hard to remember who just got here, who just left, and who may or may not be next. The days of me knowing the entire UK roster — until the season actually starts — are clearly long gone. Add in it being 2020 ... F it all lol.

Meh, it is OK Partna, he is not very good anyway, any points he scores will be gifted by the opposing team. Kind of like UK v/s UT Saturday. Gifts that keep on giving and what not.

Sorry bourbon guru. The five bottles.

My brother sold all five to some local vape magnate for $2700. Just curious if that was a good price or if he could have gotten more.

Like salt on your pancakes? Salt on your grapefruit? Sugar on your steak?
I've done all of these things. A bit of salt in the batter helps round out the sweetness in pancakes.

My grandparents sprinkled salt in their grapefruit, so I do sometimes too. It takes the edge off the bitterness.

A bit of sugar in a steak rub will give you an amazing sear on the finished product too.

I mean, the most recent prices I’ve seen:

ER 17-$1300
WLW-$900-1000
Stagg-$600
Saz-$500
Handy-$500
