For the record, I’m not Q, or into that business.

Do I think the Biden’s are dirty? Yeah, I do. Seems to be evidence supporting that. We’ll see.

Just sitting here waiting on the aliens to reveal themselves.

- Now that I’ve dipped my toes into home theater projector life, I’m looking ahead to creating some custom, spooky projection mapping animations to go on my house for next Halloween: Skeleton walking in and out of windows of my house, the whole thing turning into a jack-o-lantern, the works.

-Seinfeld’s new compilation book of his bits, “Is This Anything?” is great. I’ve been reading selected bits to my kids as bedtime reading. They love the “dogs in cars” bit.

- I’ve got another 1 hour expert consulting call next week. It’s kind of like being a guest member of a think tank that has no idea what they’re supposed to be thinking about - in my expert opinion. Talk about passive income!

To Rudds point, so many people think it was safer in the 70s and 80s and are terrified about our modern existence. Until recently, this generation lacked an existential threat (cold war, nuclear crises, etc).

Talking to my folks at work is like having the news on blast 24/7. If covid brings nothing else, hopefully it can provide some perspective about how your life is actually much better than you think it to be.

-Halloween for parents with young ones is phenomenal. Just cuteness overload. Load up a golf cart cooler and have a blast. BIG fan.

-Khaki denim from Mott & Bow is my new workday pant. Very comfy.

-Plastic office floor protects are the worst. Has one ever stayed in f*cking place? Piece of ****.

-Switched up to the Chipotle Carne Asada yesterday, not good. Their chicken is always on point, going to try to replicate it at home.

-Nervous about the game. Mizzou isn't good but they're like some of the early Stoops teams, sleep on them and give them any confidence, and we'll be in a dog fight. Business trip. Set the tone early.

-The early days of the internet being a wide open cesspool, and not a scary dark place, was the best. Thanks, Al Gore.

I used to go all out for Halloween when my son was younger. We’d do matching theme costumes and the whole bit. Then I became uncool and he just wanted to go trick or treating with his friends.

Great question. You've got your finger on the pulse of so many, we need to help you sort them all out as we're having these conversations.
Well I'm not not certain. This Hunter laptop business has been confirmed. We just don't know if the rumors of what's on the laptop are true. The Biden campaign has yet to deny anything. Lawyers for Hunter have asked for the laptop to be returned. So......not a conspiracy.

The only other I follow but laugh at is Russia Russia Russia. If Russia was half as powerful as many would like you to believe they'd be Alabama. Instead they are Tennessee or Nebraska in reality.

-Irish is correct...except I would argue(and be correct) that we don't have an existential threat as most perceive (covid/environment/literal nazis/"the gays")... Radical Islam can be mitigated/contained. China is a problem that could rise to the level of "existential threat" if not kept at heel.

-of course an asteroid could wipe us out anytime...but that aint a new thing.

In the early days of the interwebz, I only saw ridiculous conspiracy theories when my grandpa forwarded them to me. Now those theories are on national news sites.

Rack rudd and Irish. The biggest existential threat as a millennial is the ever-present knowledge that boomers run everything and have left a big **** sandwich for the youngs to eat. Can't wait to die at my desk!! (However...having seen a fair amount of Boomer men immediately crumble into decrepitude at retirement, maybe they've done us something of a favor??)

National news networks that have gone from news to entertainment pretending to be news have done a **** ton of damage to this country. All we have now are slightly different versions of Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith spitting hot takes and spinning, defending, deflecting and accusing. You insert that divisiveness into social media, giving Billy Jo American an echo chamber of his own friends and like-minded individuals, and now you have the current state of America.

No one believes anything unless it's from your team, and then you believe and defend them at all costs regardless of evidence. If your beliefs are too far out there for even your own friends, you'll seek solace in some horseshit corner of the internet or a Facebook group.

Now, no one has to admit they were wrong, or believe anything they don't want to believe, because there's a group somewhere out there that agrees with them. Dipshits can run wild with their nonsense theories, they can be willfully and loudly ignorant without repercussion because someone out there legitimizes their opinions.

There are people out there that, in 2020, believe the Earth is flat. There are people out there that believe airplane contrails are chemtrails in an attempt to control the population. There are people out there that believe Sandy Hook was fake. The list goes on and on and on.

Every person with power and money can easily manipulate massive amounts of people. I honestly don't see a way out of it. We seem so far down the line that there is no coming back from it.

I’m sorry, Who are you?

Listen, I’m an admitted idiot, and often ask people to lower their expectations when dealing with me.

But ^^^, is just heartbreakingly mean and I honestly don’t know what to say. [eyeroll]

GFY Hercules.

OK I have let you slide a couple of times putting my name on your keyboard. Just because you made some bourbon, and now everyone rides your dick because of it, it does not make smarter. Your *** was laughed at daily by EVERYONE. trust me Ace, if you did not get someone to come up with a bourbon everyone here likes, your *** would still be getting trumped on here.

My dad was the GOAT Halloween showman growing up -- cars from all over town would come to the crib, newspaper features, etc.

He'd put 4 of those huge *** cabinet sized old school floor speakers in the windows and blast Thriller & a mix of scary laughs, sounds, etc - he'd open the door with his scary outfit and blind the kids with a Spotlight

...and then hand them an apple and a toothbrush. :(

Great post.

But there is a way out, unfortunately it isn't pleasant. As Einstein said, “I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."

So let me get this straight. A critical factor for your support is if the candidate and the candidate’s family is clean or dirty?

Is that correct?

I’ve spent 39 years not actively cultivating relationships with ********, dipshits and scumbags. The internet and social media has made that way harder.

After doing some reading I can no longer in good conscience recommend “The Vow”. Apparently the producers all made money on the front end of the sex cult and now on the back end on exposing the sex cult. Also I still can’t figure out what the hell these people were signing up for in the first place and why I should feel sorry for them.

I thereby withdraw any endorsement of “The Vow” and suggest you watch “Wild Wild Country” for your cult needs.

I really enjoy that people will accept great leaps of logic and very little to no evidence in order to believe a conspiracy theory they want to be true, but they’ll completely ignore any and all blatant evidence debunking that theory.

Just catching up, but this is my every day life with my parents dementia. And what I mean by this is the kids are moving the milk on purpose, as well as the remotes, cell phones, shoes.

damn the conspiracy!
