Correct. And for all the, "(x) Car Dealer will just pay a million dollars for the next star." They already are, all the big coaches are paid through built in endorsement deals with local advertisers as part of their salary.I don’t really see why the NCAA makes this so hard, give athletes a scholarship and platform to showcase their skills and allow them to hire agents and make money anyway they can on the side.
All you are doing there is taking the current black market of paying college players and legalizing it. No longer do you have to monitor or enforce your draconian rules and you aren’t the one having to pony up the money.
