Yeah, I remember last last flu season when they shut down all international travel, asked everybody to stay home if they could, declared states of emergency to change the way government worked. Thanks for getting this apples-to-apples, really provide some clarity on the matter. Hadn’t thought of that. Wow. Big deal. Hmm. Tough one. Tough one. Well who knows? Just wait and see I guess? Golly. Really good point. Interesting angle to be explored that nobody’s considered. Wow wow wow.So according to WorldMeter website these are the death rates. Plugged them into a spreadsheet as I haven't seen it in a similar format yet. Germans, predictably, are on it. That rate isn't much different than the flu. I only did countries w/1000 cases.

Family is supposed to be headed down there on 3/25. Will it be worth it? I’m on the verge of making the executive decision to cancel it anyways, but would like your input as to where you think things will be by then. Everything closed or severely limited?Already starting down here, things like the theater(movie ones and music ones) and artisan markets have closed now. I’m done for the rest of this month. Probably have the best tan a ginger can get before too long.
Germany's rate isn't much different, not the world's, Mr Center for Infectious Disease Guy.Yeah, I remember last last flu season when they shut down all international travel, asked everybody to stay home if they could, declared states of emergency to change the way government worked. Did you just copy and paste your reply to me the other day? How bad do you want this to be? 1.7% death rate and hardly anyone getting tested. It would look more like Germany’s if every American citizen were testedYeah, I remember last last flu season when they shut down all international travel, asked everybody to stay home if they could, declared states of emergency to change the way government worked. Went over this yesterday, staying in 73s garage in the Bay Area TIL this blows over.Where do you live again rogue?
i wouldn’t. They’re likely going to close things here soon too. My best bud canceled his trip he was supposed to come in on the 28th. Some bars will say touch it and pay the fines which they don’t really enforce down here much, just like the smoking ban they don’t really enforce.Family is supposed to be headed down there on 3/25. So brave. Not sure if I have coronavirus. But I’m going to announce to the world that I’m social distancing just in case. Even though that’s what everyone else in the world is also doing. I don’t have coronavirus symptoms yet, and I’m doing ok. But would still appreciate your good thoughts. We will make it through this together.
I know. In Germany, the first reported case of COVID-19 was in late January. Since that time they’ve been tracking and contact tracing and quarantining/isolating people who have come in contact and raised awareness of the dangers of infection to their population and have moved on to mitigation.Germany's rate isn't much different, not the world's, Mr Center for Infectious Disease Guy.
Who knew architects also came out with a medical degree?
She will be posting about her experience in quarantine on Facebook and Twitter.
