Been a big Gaels gambol fan for years -- Tim Cluess really set that program up, 4 straight tourney appearances (6 since 2012), and regularly among the top offensive teams in the country

He doesn't have to "build" that program, so much as he just has to take it to the next step. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Pitino turns them to a legit threat as a mid major in a few years.

So according to WorldMeter website these are the death rates. Plugged them into a spreadsheet as I haven't seen it in a similar format yet. Germans, predictably, are on it. That rate isn't much different than the flu. I only did countries w/1000 cases.

Yeah, I remember last last flu season when they shut down all international travel, asked everybody to stay home if they could, declared states of emergency to change the way government worked. Thanks for getting this apples-to-apples, really provide some clarity on the matter. Hadn’t thought of that. Wow. Big deal. Hmm. Tough one. Tough one. Well who knows? Just wait and see I guess? Golly. Really good point. Interesting angle to be explored that nobody’s considered. Wow wow wow.

Already starting down here, things like the theater(movie ones and music ones) and artisan markets have closed now. I’m done for the rest of this month. Probably have the best tan a ginger can get before too long.
Family is supposed to be headed down there on 3/25. Will it be worth it? I’m on the verge of making the executive decision to cancel it anyways, but would like your input as to where you think things will be by then. Everything closed or severely limited?

Germany's rate isn't much different, not the world's, Mr Center for Infectious Disease Guy.

Who knew architects also came out with a medical degree?

Start with their first, Can't Buy a Thrill. Steely Dan is one of those bands that surprises you with how many good songs they have:

Do It Again
Reeling in the Years
Dirty Work
Rikki Don't Lose That Number
Hey 19
Peg
Kid Charlemagne
Black Cow
Josie

Did you just copy and paste your reply to me the other day? How bad do you want this to be? 1.7% death rate and hardly anyone getting tested. It would look more like Germany’s if every American citizen were tested

If Pitino mimics this at his first press conference and directs his ire at Card fan, I'll jump on board.

Where do you live again rogue?
Went over this yesterday, staying in 73s garage in the Bay Area TIL this blows over.

i wouldn’t. They’re likely going to close things here soon too. My best bud canceled his trip he was supposed to come in on the 28th. Some bars will say touch it and pay the fines which they don’t really enforce down here much, just like the smoking ban they don’t really enforce.

So many variables when it comes to the death rate of this virus it's impossible to be absolutely correct.

One variable we don't know is how many people have/had it and won't get diagnosed. It's an educated guess.

****, seems like a third of GYERO had it.

It's like the saying about putting 10 economists in a room and you'll get 10 differing opinions as to the state of the economy.

Not sure if I have coronavirus. But I’m going to announce to the world that I’m social distancing just in case. Even though that’s what everyone else in the world is also doing. I don’t have coronavirus symptoms yet, and I’m doing ok. But would still appreciate your good thoughts. We will make it through this together.
So brave.

I know. In Germany, the first reported case of COVID-19 was in late January. Since that time they’ve been tracking and contact tracing and quarantining/isolating people who have come in contact and raised awareness of the dangers of infection to their population and have moved on to mitigation.

If “the flu” were treated the same way, there would mostly likely be reduced death as well.

It says she was at the doctors office at the same time as someone who had it. They've said multiple times that all of the Fayette County cases are connected but haven't said what the connection is. I'm assuming if you've came in contact with them someone reaches out to you? How do you know if you've been around them?

Also this:
She will be posting about her experience in quarantine on Facebook and Twitter.
