I agree. Those business owners whose livelihood depend on people not living like hermits can all EAD!!1!
OK, that’s a good point. Hadn’t thought of that. Wow. Big deal. Hmm. Tough one. Tough one. Well who knows? Just wait and see I guess? Golly. Really good point. Interesting angle to be explored that nobody’s considered. Wow wow wow.

Is the rate of expansion in China still doubling every 2-3 days? Or has it slowed and mainly limited to the Wuhan region?

Same question for Italy. With the social isolation, is the rate of expansion slowing? Or will that take an additional week or so to see if it is. I saw a graph today that puts the US at the same rate of expansion as Italy through today.

How long will the doubling happen? Will this run it’s way through the population until it fully runs its course naturally?

-A titty bar always sounds like an awful time for everyone involved.

-Went snorkeling at the reef with two friends and 20 coeds. Some of those chicks looked too young to talk to, Jesus.

-Back home and contemplating going back out but dealing with Fat Tuesdays may be too much to bare tonight. With nothing on tv though options may be deciding for me.

-Best friend and his wife were supposed to come down on the 28th from Chicago but canceled because this ****.

-No booze in 2 weeks, feeling fantastic.

Fail.
(As expected).

How far into quarantine-induced boredom do we have to be before we get the full story of what happened during the ice storm? I’m on day like 1.3 and I’m bored as ****.

I have a video of myself as the blue blob that I offer as collateral or something.

I'm sure if you want to hear the ice storm story, you're gonna need to come up with a different video of yourself, nomsayin

Well, I know what I'm going to do today. I'm going to mail a letter to every old and sick person that Kyle Tucker knows saying that I don't care if they die and then I'm going to a titty bar.

China leveled off in mid-February. It wasn’t bad outside of a Hubei because they saw what was happening and shut everybody else down. By the time they were complaining about international travel bans against them, they had already banned “~interstate” travel inside of China for weeks. Because they wanted to make sure they were OK, but everybody else would take a big hit from this. Then, when the oil demand was down, Russia decided to pop our debt bubble and send everything crashing.

Italy had a 20% jump in cases yesterday. I don’t know about doubling rate (days), but we are still on the same trajectory AFAIK. Just ~9 days behind them and they are still piling bodies needlessly.

Yeah, SAE & Joey’s FB Dr. friend says don’t leave the house or drive/get on any roads for AT LEAST 2-3 weeks.

Shouldn’t be a problem for most.

Shewwwwww, I’m at the gym right now and it’s full. People want to bump elbows to say hello instead of fist bump or whatever which is ::rolleyes:: because you’re about to touch weights a thousand other people have touched today.

-Be interesting to see how many parents let their kids still come for spring break. Tomorrow is the day the new batch comes in. Looking forward to Clemson :sunglasses:. But I have a feeling the crowd is more sparse than usual. Last night was like a regular Wednesday night not a Saturday during spring break.

- Deactivated Facebook a while back. With what has happened over the last little bit, it had to be divine providence.

- Lotta people seem to mistake having a large platform and having a respected/knowledgeable opinion on things outside of what gave them that platform. Ego is something.

- Being around the house with the lass out of state and few distractions has led to a crazy efficiency in getting things done.

Had a day in residency in Mass that was emergency personnel only on the roads. We got 3 ft of snow overnight and it was -20. Cops were stopping everyone on the roads, creepy as hell. Everyone was losing their minds...and it was only 1 day!

I think we’re about to see some sort of official light quarantine in the US early this week. Official statements from Trump telling us not to travel, restaurants, etc.

He referenced groceries/pharmacies being the exception. ICYMI Major US cities are already on lockdown. Curfews set. A guy at the frontline of it all locally is saying we should be following suit based upon what he’s seeing in in real time in Emergency Rooms.

We didn’t leave the house yesterday. Not planning to today. *******.

There was a super nasty bug that came through here in late January through February. Almost everyone in my office was sick. My client came back from Switzerland and was super sick. Very dry cough that lasted for weeks. Low grade fever at first.

Is it possible that this thing has been here for awhile and we just didn’t know because of testing? There is a huge Chinese population in the Bay Area, one of the largest in the country. If so, that’s a very good thing.

So anybody on an Ace inhibitor/ARB for blood pressure? If you so are at increased risk for Covid19, as those receptors on the cell are same site the virus binds, current theory anyway.

Just read an article saying exactly that. Apparently this flu season was worst than most, and a lot of experts think the virus has been here for awhile. Hasn’t run its course yet, obviously, but may be further along than people think.

The Council on Hypertension of the European Society of Cardiology wish to highlight the lack of any evidence supporting harmful effect of ACE-I and ARB in the context of the pandemic COVID-19 outbreak.

The Council on Hypertension strongly recommend that physicians and patients should continue treatment with their usual anti-hypertensive therapy because there is no clinical or scientific evidence to suggest that treatment with ACEi or ARBs should be discontinued because of the Covid-19 infection.

I read on fb that COVID-19 gets stuck in your throat for several days before infecting you and if you drink a lot of water frequently, you can flush it down to your stomach where digestive acids will kill the virus. Why is WHO and the CDC, etc. not getting the word out??? SAD...

It’s possible. I was texting my buddy in NYC with Aviator gifs about handwashing OCD in January into February and he didn’t respond for like a week. (He was also reading up on it.) I thought I he was getting too freaked out and stopped.

Turns out, he was going through the “worst flu he ever had.” It could be just because he is older now (mid-40’s) but he said it knocked him down like no flu before and it was the first time he felt like his body couldn’t fight off what was happening to him and a part of him died. (I bet it was the flu.)

His shower broke today and he ventured out to buy a new head (Gramercy). He said the city felt eerie, because of the lack of noise. There is no background hum/buzz. I used to realize that when I got home to CVG and could hear my own footsteps on the sidewalk. It must feel bizarre in Manhattan right now.
